Absolutely love my experiences with Daniel’s Watch & Jewelry Repair. The staff has a level of expertise that makes you feel comfortable. They have gold chains at affordable prices. I go here for all of my jewelry and watch repairs!
A good neighborhood jeweler who will tell you what you need to hear not what youd like to hear. Competive prices too.
Daniel Watch & Jewelry Repair ------ Well you can make up your own mind... Took my watch in for cleaning, Daniel was on the phone so he couldnt give me a quote for the work. They gave me a ticket and told me he would call me. Daniel did call and told me my watch needs an overhaul and cleaning and it would cost $250 and it would have a two year warranty on the work. I approved. This morning I went in to pick up my watch and they told me it was $450..... They eventually charged me the $250 after calling Daniel who want there.... I left in total dismay and without a warranty... But guess what, Im done!
Have used them for decades and always fair pricing, efficient service and quality craftsmanship. Total integrity and honesty. Highly recommend!
They gave the fairest prices is for my vintage jewelry.. Very fair and reliable.
Resized my watch here. While they were moderately friendly further inspection after the job showed dings and scratches on the band. Also the pins dont seem to be inserted correctly after the resizing. I dont think they really know what theyre doing. My recommendation is to look elsewhere for watch repair.
Love Daniel Watch & Jewelry Repair. They’re always fast. They treat your pieces with the utmost care and professionalism. They use quality parts for your watches, I’ve never had to come back for the same issue twice. Will only bring my watch collection here.
Love this place! I have been pleased with all of my jewelry repairs. Great watch guy for repairs and batteries. They do everything. A constant stream of neighborhood people coming in to sell their silver and gold. If you ever need vintage estate jewelry check there first!
Went to get my watch resized. It is metal and brand citizen. It cost me six dollars, he was very careful with the watch and detail oriented. They were also very quick. Very happy and will be bringing my watch needs to this place in the near future.
Had some rings sized here. 1 ring with a stone that I mined myself, had cut, and designed the setting cracked during resizing. Daniel said the stone got hot during the process. I understand the physics, but I thought they would have taken precautionary measure to prevent that from happening. No it wasnt a 10 carat Diamond but it was special to me.
I popped in to get some links taken out of my watch. Quick service paid 10 bucks, maybe a little steep but I was able to come back the next day and get another one taken out to get that optimal fit. I appreciated the great service they administered.
Honest and excellent, old world workmanship. Fair prices and good advice.
I am using them a couple of years for watch and jewelry repair. I am very happy with the results on top of the fact that they are honest and nice people.
They serviced my Omega and am surprised with the result it looks brand new again., price was pretty good and you can tell they do quality work.. Owner is a very nice guy.. I will bring my all watches here from now.
DONT GO THERE. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE, AWFUL WORKMANSHIP, LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUINED A NECKLACE AND TOLD ME TO BRING IT ELSEWHERE FOR REPAIR.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Keep it up. Definitely the greatest jewelry repair Ive seen around.
Steer clear. Went to have two very nice family watches (Jaeger-LeCoultre from 1940s) repaired and cleaned as they had been neglected for years. When I went there I was promised everything I was looking for: interior and exterior (face included) cleaning, new band, new crystal and agreed to a price. They finished the repairs early so I went to pick up the two watches and the work was sloppy and incomplete. When asked about it I was told that I was never promised what I was initially told. I then took the watches home because I did not want the shop to have them any longer and found that the face of one of the watches was now off center, the sealing glue that they used to fix the new crystal had spilled onto the gold damaging it, and the displays were not clean. I would steer clear as there are plenty of other watch repair shops to use. As prior reviews have said: sloppy work, excessive price, poor customer service.
I sent my Pulsar watch to the Seiko/Pulsar service center in New Jersey for repair. They told me it could not be fixed. I took it to Daniels and 1 day later it was repaired and working perfectly.
Very experienced guys here, impressive work.
Brought a vintage Rolex in for repair as moisture was collecting under crystal; was returned with dust under crystal, running 5-10 minutes fast per week, having the date change at 11 PM rather than midnite, and several weeks later moisture again collected under crystal. Cost was outlandish, and even the third time I brought it back for re-work, again is was given back to me with dust particles easily visible under crystal. Sloppy work, excessive price, poor customer service. Go elsewhere.
I went there for a battery remplacement (My watch use two batteries) I paid like 24 bucks for both batteries, I spent around 10 minutes there, the business was really busy that day. They also take Credit/Debit card, thats how I paid.
Oldtime watch and jewelry appraiser, turn-of-century pocket watches and repair avail.
Took my watch to get the battery repaired. It was finished in less than 5 mins and was only $10. I would come back here.
