I had put off getting my vintage fur coat repaired because I was intimidated by the industry...worried I wouldn’t have a good experience or worse yet get significantly overcharged for services I didn’t need. Luckily I found Ritz Furs. From the moment I stepped through their door I immediately felt welcomed by all of the staff, as if I had been a long time customer stopping by for a friendly visit. Jeffery, who I had spoke with on the phone before coming in, is simply amazing and a wealth of knowledge. He’s professional, honest, and really knows his furs. He answered all of my questions, talked me though the necessary repairs, and gave me a tour of their pre-owned fur selection with absolutely no pressure to buy. I feel good knowing my fur coat is in good hands and safely stored for the summer months. I also can’t wait to browse the vintage fur selection again soon with Jeffery as my guide.

I first entered the door at Ritz Thrift Shop - Ritz Furs in 2003. I had just relocated back to NYC after living in Atlanta. Boy was it cold here!!! I knew that I wanted to buy a fur coat because there is nothing warmer and I knew that I wanted to buy it as Ritz Furs! I have purchased coats, traded coats, sold coats here and I have never been disappointed. Quality is impeccable. Integrity exceptional. Customer service is beyond anywhere I have shopped. Go in and ask for Jeffrey or Keith and tell them that I sent you!

Jeffery is a great person with a large heart. He has patience and he is very knowledgeable about furs. He sold me a beautiful sable, and I will never purchase from anywhere else. I shopped around 4 different stores to find a coat, but Ritzs selection and Jefferys service and pleasant nature brought us back in, and the purchase was made. I visited this location just before 5pm closing time (as indicated in their website) to be told not to touch anything by their pushy Latin salesperson. I was forced to return the next day due to my credit card being my mothers so returned with cash. Not buying from them again unless the actual owner is present since hes polite, genuine and outgoing.

Love Ritz Furs! Ive been a customer for many years. I love the fact that I can buy a new piece by trading in a piece and having the layaway option. Jeffrey has an amazing eye and can find something for EVERYONE!

I love the people here. They all seem happy in their work -- which is not often the case. Jeffrey gives stellar customer service. The furs themselves are beautiful, and especially among the pre-owned furs you can find one-of-a kind items. I always get compliments on the coats I have bought at Ritz.

I came in to sell my lynx coat. I met a gentlemen named Jeffrey Geters. He was prompt with assisting me. He gave me more money than the other furriers offered. Fiyona Madiar who assisted in cuting a check was very polite. I will revisit soon.

It was my first time time going to a fur store and it was not to purchase but to sell one I had purchased second hand.The reception at Ritz Fur was warm, yet professional, welcoming and genuine. Even with the knowledge I was selling not buying. They were helpful, took their time with me (and they were busy), and provided valuable information about furs and how their industry works. I even tried on a few of their absolutely, tastefully beautiful furs. Again, even them knowing I was not going to purchase. You can see they have passion and love what they do. I never felt so glamorous, and I was wearing jeans.Coming from the service and lifestyle business (Four Seasons Hotel & Conde Nast), I have to say, my experience at Ritz Fur was one that I just needed to share. In this social media, and almost extinct customer service world we live in; is reliving to know there are still a few remaining and still posses the invaluable art that is customer service after all these years they have been in business.Keith and Jeffrey and their team are a gem in any industry.I look forward in the future to buy new fur at Ritz Fur.
