I received a letter from a fur consultant saying that my free storage expired so I went to the fur salon with the letter and they were absolutely no help whatsoever. As a Bloomingdales loyalist, I expected them to offer me an explanation of the amount due. Lousy customer service.

They lost my wifes mink jacket. I had been taking them the same 2 coats every year for summer storage. When you drop off your coat(s), they give you an envelope with the paperwork in it. I never thought to check the contents of the envelope. Then, last fall, I went to pick up the coats and there was only a receipt for one of them in the envelope. Long story short, without the paper I was screwed, they had no idea where the coat was. They said they had the storage facility searched, but I never heard back from them. They kept trying to tell me I was wrong and that I had only brought the one coat, which I know to be false. Never again.

Avoid this place. I bought a mink coat and stored it with Bloomingdales for several yeas. Two years ago the coat came out of storage with the shoulders poked out by the hanger it was stored on. I brought it to Bloomingdales and they said I should wear it around and the shoulders would relax. They took no blame at all so I figured maybe theyre right. I let myself be convinced to store it there again and it was returned in even worse condition. Today I met George the regional manager who tried to tell me it was my fault and that things happen to coats that arent new. Maybe I was wearing shoulder pads, maybe I became stouter and thats pushing the shoulders out. He would not try to fix the coat because it might come back in worse condition. To compensate me, after blaming me, he was willing to return about $200 I spent on storage. This was not because he was sorry that the coat was ruined but because he was sorry that I was angry. The coat cost $10,000. Dont buy a coat here. Go to a reputable furrier who will take responsibility for his mistakes.

Ive been going to Maximilian for years. Jagoda is a great salesperson and knows everything about furs. Storage, cleaning and repairs are available along with trade-ins and discounts.

The service is just awful! The staff is arrogant and unfriendly!! They charged for cleaning and polishing the fur coat, in the end Ive got back the fur coat with the same stain and in terrible condition! I would not recommend this place!
