This is the best place to buy furs in the USA and maybe the world. They have their own in house factory that is huge so they can custom build you a fur directly from furs they buy on the market directly overseas or they can fit an off the rack fur to fit you perfectly. The price is about 60% below the big stores. So instead of Saks or Macys you can take off 60% THEIR SALE PRICES and that is what you pay here. We were very impressed and we will only buy furs from Sekas in the future. If we could give 6 stars we would.

I brought in a mink coat that I had been given many years ago (and pretty much never wore) to be made into a blanket. Nicholas Sekas, the owner, was wonderful... very friendly and super knowledgeable. I had no idea how much a project like this would cost, and indeed it was a lot more than I thought, but its a ton of work to make the triangle shape of a coat into a rectangle shape! Nicholas was considerate of my budget and kept things reasonable even though some unexpected issues (with my fur) came up. To make a full size blanket youd really need two coats, one coat makes what I call a bed scarf that lays nicely across the bottom of the bed. I like to pull it over myself for a nap and it is the perfect size for one person. Because of the chilly spring Ive already gotten more use out of this blanket than I EVER got out of the coat in 20+ years... so I am super pleased that I did it! I totally recommend Sekas Intl! If you’re like me and have fur coats that you haven’t worn in years, do not hesitate to contact Nick Sekas! I brought Nick my full length mink coat that I hadn’t worn in 20 years and a fur lined raincoat that was also outdated. We discussed options to remake both coats. Nick and his wife Athena are lovely people. They are knowledgeable, professional and so easy to work with. Nick helped me figure out how I wanted to redesign my mink into a shorter, shirred, fashionable coat and he suggested that I create a fabulous fur vest from the raincoat lining. The fur trim from the raincoat was used to make a beautiful wool wrap with fur trim. The entire process was seamless. I transformed two outdated coats that were just sitting in my closet into 3 gorgeous pieces that I will wear all the time!

Amazing experience all around! Nick was very patient and informative about my vintage mink. He really knows his stuff! We both decided it would be best to take the coat and convert it into a custom vest (Christmas present for my mom). I choose the fabric, the button style and length. It turned out perfect! Better than I imagined. Nick and his staff are very polite, honest and definitely make the best quality fur products. I’ll be back to get a coat for myself!

You wont find a more qualified furrier, or a more honest and genuine person than Nicholas Sekas.I have a vintage 60+ year old full length racoon fur coat that belonged to my great uncle. The coat has seen plenty of wear and was in serious need of repair & restoration. I went to a couple of high end furriers who looked at the coat and turned me away stating it was too far gone.Nicholas saved the coat! He and his staff did an incredible job repairing the long tears and holes in the jacket. The coat is still entirely original. The lining was removed to make the necessary repairs and then sewn back in place perfectly. Everything was done by hand. I really would like to say thank you to Selassie International LTD. They did a great job on my coat. I needed them to cut the sleeve on my mink coat to make it 1 1/2 inch shorter and they did an excellent job. You cant even tell that the coat was altered. Im glad I came here.

Nicholas was wonderful to work with. He was like a mind reader. He took an old reversible coat that was out of date and enormous and made a gorgeous parka for me and a leather coat for my husband. It was a bit pricey, but the service was excellent and very fast.

I had an opportunity to meet Nick Sekas this past spring to start thinking about a new coat purchase for myself. I returned this autumn to make a purchase from the collection. I received excellent service and was given a lot of time to ask my many questions and try on many samples before making my purchase decision. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sekas were really wonderful to interact with and I would definitely recommend not only their outstanding service but the quality of their merchandise which is second to none. They make available a wide selection of outerwear styles, some all fur and some with fur as the accents. Their selection is fashion current but will not be outdated in a blink of the eye.

Nicholas at Sekas was a true gem to work with. He provided exceptional service. I had a very old stole that was my grandmothers that I wanted to wear for my wedding. It was in bad shape--it likely hadnt been cleaned or stored properly or cared for in years. Nicholas assessed it and recommended a new lining and full cleaning, as well as a service to help whiten the fur that had oxidized. He managed to do all of this in a week, despite the piece being in worse condition than we originally anticipated. It turned out beautifully, was done on time, and was the perfect complement to my wedding dress. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I never felt rushed or like he was offering services just for the sake of it--he was clearly knowledgeable and ended up reviving a special family piece.
