UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES....1. Make sure you know the weight of your shipment before going in. While I did have 4 large boxes, I could lift all 4. The gentleman told me that he was going to charge me for 78lbs on each of the 4 large boxes (Ill get to the TRUE weights below).2. The shipment was going to be around $968 for the boxes.3. The gentleman was upset that we wanted to use our own shipping labels from our UPS account (so that he wouldnt get his cut from UPS and that we would get a little discount) which I totally understand, but the price was an immediate red flag. When we told him that we would like to use our own shipping labels, his customer service became cold and quite frankly, rude. He originally saw me as $$$$$ with those 4 boxes and then turned just as quickly when he realized he wasnt going to get his huge cut.4. 10 minutes after leaving the store, I received an email stating that the shipment would be RETURNED to UPS INSTEAD of being shipped out as it should.5. Went back to the store and the gentleman denied any wrong doing and bragged that he had been there for 30 years. I PICKED UP THE BOXES - as in actually lifted them - and got them to a UPS store.UPS weighed the boxes and not a single box was over 50lbs. Matter of fact, they were 36lbs, 39lbs, 44lbs, and 50lbs and the shipment cost $433 compared to the $968 (without declaring a value) I would have been charged at this location. The UPS store is ONE AVENUE away, so if you want to skip dealing with this PITA, I suggest taking a short walk to the UPS store.

Now that Manhattan has porch pirates without the porches I use United Shipping as my shipping address. When I order anything of value I have it sent there. Piece of mind for $4.50.a pop.The service is friendly and professional!

I needed an ice cream machine shipped from New York to Idaho. I had them package it for me. they did a wonderful job! When it arrived I was very pleased to see how well it was packed and protected. thank you!

Super friendly and helpful. Their expert packing saved a shipment of drums I sold on eBay: UPS dropped the box, destroying the outside, but the drums were double packed and the inner packing kept the drums from experiencing any damage at all.You do pay for their packing, but its worth it. Actual human beings work there. Cant recommend them enough.
