My girlfriend and I tried doing couples counseling with Paul. Was very disappointed with his version of therapy. From the beginning, when one of us would complain about the other, he would just say, Why are you together? or Why are you staying the relationship? He never gave us any advice other than to say stop complaining. At our second session, he again just kept saying he didnt understand why we were together and then, with twenty minutes sill left in our session, he just quit and said, I cant help you. I see no future in your relationship. Probably the worst therapy session ever. Definitely not worth the $300/hr he charges.
Where do I begin? My husband and I started seeing Dr. Paul Moschetta probably about 10 years ago, as we reached out to him during a particularly tumultuous time in our marriage.... as many couples experience.Married for 20 years at this point we have gone in and out of seasons as a couple over the last 10 years, and we have turned to Dr. M often for guidance; for help learning how to more positively and effectively communicate with each other, for help navigating both acute and mundane challenges in our relationship, for assistance trudging through the challenges that raising teenage children can present, and for processing and working through events weve lived through and issues that were created long before marriage and children. He guides with patience and has the ability to validate you while at the same time challenging you to see things as they really are, or to see things from a different perspective, and he has the beautiful ability to ask just the right question to provoke higher thought. His techniques have proven not only to be personally enlightening, but cathartic on a level that cant be measured.Over the years, with Dr. M weve grown as a couple, and weve grown as parents, and mostly (speaking for myself) he has helped and guided me to grow as a person independent of all of these relationships. He is a gifted therapist, and I am grateful to have him on my side as we navigate all the things that life can throw ones way. Thanks, Dr. M, you rock! :)
Wonderful caring therapists, have helped us through 30+ years of marriage and child rearing. Dr. Moschetta spends time thinking about our various family issues and comes back to us each week with wonderful and helpful insights.
After many months of marriage and individual therapy, Dr. Paul Moschetta SAVED MY MARRIAGE! He is caring and compassionate and has a wonderful - tell it like it is attitude that really makes you think about your actions. He set us on the right path! We still have issues - what relationship doesnt? But time and time again he helps us through! Dr. Moschetta from the bottom of my heart -THANK YOU!
I have yet to meet a more dedicated and skilled therapist than Paul Moschetta. He has provided me with intelligent insights using a manner that is direct yet compassionate and giving me a level of comfort and direction. When a friend or family member is in need, Paul is the first person that I think of and recommend.
I am a psychotherapist of 40+ years offering counseling/ therapy to individuals, couples, trauma survivors and people experiencing domestic violence working with the abuser as well as the survivor. I am a colleague of Drs. Evelyn and Paul Moschetta and have shared cases with them, for example, I may have worked with an individual from a couple either of them was seeing for marriage counseling. I know the quality of their professional work and have been impressed with their excellence, compassion and skill. I have the highest regard for their work and would not hesitate to refer to them. One of the most difficult tasks when I was having marital issues with my spouse was finding the right marriage counselor to help us work through the serious problems which were becoming a barrier to continuing our marriage. I was lucky to get a recommendation from a trusted friend that I see Dr. Paul Moschetta. Dr. Moschetta was able to help us recognize our joint problems and helped us find solutions, but he also helped me work through some serious personal issues that were driving some of the relationship difficulties. Thanks to Dr. Moschetta, we were able to turn things around. Ill always be grateful to him for the work that he guided us through.
I would like to give zero stars. They have ruined families and have shady practices that I cannot describe online. This is a cult, do not fall for this nonsense garbage.
When my husband and I were in need of a marriage counselor, I contacted Drs. Moschetta. They came highly recommended by one of their previous patients. The doctors spent time learning more about our situation and helped us to identify the real issues that were taxing our relationship. For the first time in so long, my husband and I were able to really communicate with each other in a healthy and respectful manner. Our relationship today is better than ever! The process is not easy but nothing worth having is. Without the right therapists, I know my marriage would not be where it is today. I would recommend Drs. Moschetta to any couple going through rough times.
