I have been getting several treatments with Emily after failed laser hair removal and finding someone I can trust to do electrolysis Emily makes my experience painless she super kind and even after a few treatments I’ve had so much progress I’m excited to continue my journey with Emily :)

I recently moved from Atlanta in January 2021 and was looking for an electrolysis specialist to take over. At this point, I spent years doing laser which activated growth and overall I was really frustrated with the outcome. I was so desperate that I ended up starting electrolysis for a month in Atlanta before I moved to NYC. My electrolysist in ATL taught for 20+ years and was very educated in the process. She was determined to find me a talented specialist in NYC. We spent time researching and I even tried a few different spas until I cam across Wenya who works at Top Electrolysis. I had a hard time finding someone who felt comfortable with the blend method, so big shout out to Wenya for having the skillset and being good at it. We end up talking during the appointments or sometimes I end up dosing off since my sessions are for an hour. She is gentle and will work based on how your skin reacts. I feel like the space is sanitary and I am always met with kindness. Overall, I have not experienced any issues and I am seeing progress. Ive had electrolysis at other places in and around NYC and Limoges is by far the best. The practitioners know what it takes to get results and want the best for their clients. Its a comfortable, non-judgmental atmosphere where you will be supported to achieve the results you want. It is the only place I have recommended to others.

I would highly recommend Dominique if you are considering electrolysis. I have been seeing Dominique for about 2 months and shes amazing. I was seeing another electrologist for 6 months and Dominique is astronomically better. In only 2 months I have barely any hair left on the areas shes is treating, and the treatment is practically pain free. Not only is Dominique a great electrologist but the office is extremely clean, everyone is very friendly and scheduling is easy! If youre considering electrolysis I dont waste time going anywhere else.

I just went in for a consultation with Emily and was the absolute most lovely person ever. So kind and helpful! She put me at ease and helped me make several other meaningful connections in about 20 minutes. She sufficiently answered all of my questions, gave me a solid estimate for the time of our sessions, and costs. I use Dominique for my electrolysis at Limoges Beauty. She has been so amazing since day one. Ive had an excess amount of hair on my face and always waxed thinking that it was going to grow back thinner and less. I started getting electrolysis about three months ago and the results have been incredible. Not only is the hair growing back thinner and lighter, but some arent even growing back at all anymore. Emily is awesome! I was getting electrolysis done for a couple years, prior to coming to her, but wasnt getting any results. I was told that it was because my hair is thick and coarse. I switched and started coming to Emily about 6 months ago and the progress has been nothing short of amazing. She also has a wonderful personality and is very pleasant to talk to. I came to Limoges after having gone to another electrolysis office for an entire year. I spent 30-40 hours on an area and noticed very little improvement. After my first session with Emily I knew I was in good hands and put at ease. I’ve had a total of 10 sessions (10 hours) with Emily, Dominique, and Tamari and noticed drastic improvement. Ive had electrolysis at several places and by far, Emily is the best. She is on top of the latest techniques, always trying to make the client outcome and experience better. She gives me an amazing numbing cream before my treatment and shes even sourced a newer, better one! Her equipment is top of the line and the treatment room is spotless. Very strange. I tried making a consultation appointment through their website with one member of the staff who has several openings to choose from through December. I selected a time/date, submitted my credit card info, as requested, then later received a message claiming that they are not currently taking any new clients. First, I think its a bit weird for a beauty clinic/business to say they are not taking any new clients, and second, I dont know why they would have any openings available on their online calendar if that is the case. At the least, I think they could have sent a personalized message with more info. Seems like their schedule is poorly managed. Impressive website, disappointing etiquette.

Emily is the best in the business. Ive seen numerous electrologists in NYC and Brooklyn, and Ive never worked with someone whos as professional, fast, and precise. I literally started seeing results after my first visit, which is quite rare (if it happens at all). She uses the newest technology, and makes the experience as comfortable and easy as possible! EMILY IS AMAZING!!!! I wish i could give her 50000 stars, 5 is not enough. began treating with Emily for facial hair removal (reluctantly) a little under a year ago. I came to her office after a terrible laser hair removal experience. I had tried laser hair removal and after months of laser (and thousands of dollars) to my dismay, the laser technician activated my hair growth and left me ten times hairier. After about one – two years of threading trying to remedy what the laser technician had done, I finally and begrudgingly made my way to Emily as a last resort. I found Emily online and gave her a shot because I had little to nothing to lose. My facial hair growth could not have been more out of control. I had no faith in electrolysis and no faith that Emily could help me (given my prior HORRIBLE laser experience at a different company). Now, about 7 months later (patience is key) I am literally shocked at the progress Emily has made. I NEVER thought I would be this hair free. I no longer have to make plans and dates around my hair growth. I am free to make plans and to wear my hair up any or every day.The bottom line is, Emily is an expert at what she does. She is professional, accommodating and effective. Her treatment proves tremendous results. I have my social life back thanks to Emily and our many sessions. The worst place. you can never get an appointment and when you do you have to make it months in advance so you of course forget about it and your schedule changes. Then they remind you about the appointment exactly 24 hours before the appointment when you call to cancel the appointment they say the 24 hour window has passed and they must charge you. Absolutely absurd!! Ive never heard of a place doing that. The receptionist told me that an adult remember her appointments. Actually, I rely on the reminders to remember them--thats the whole point of a reminder. It seems especially absurd because Im sure someone would love to have my appointment slot. Also i got Microneedling here, and the person botched it and my face was terribly swollen for a week as though my whole face was attacked by a bee. Ive gotten Microneedling other places and it was fine, a bit red, but not swollen. An actual dermatologist (note: shes not a dermatologist) told me that she did it incorrectly and applied why too much force.

Emily really is the best electrolysis. She worked on my ear hairs. I was surprised how gentle her treatment was. I had tried laser and it hurt this sensitive area much more than the electrolysis. I may be vain but I no longer have ear hair! I was self conscious about looking old because of it. I cant thank Emily enough or say enough good things about her. I was so lucky to find Emily. My sessions are always a pleasant experience . I put off electrolysis and had well over a year of laser treatments because I was afraid it would be more painful . So, I feel like I’ve had enough sessions to write about my experience so far. To preface, I have spent countless hours at other establiments on my hair removal journey. I can say without a doubt, this is by far the best one I’ve been to. This is the only electrolysis that I have seen definite and fairly quick results with. It is also the only place I can leave an appointment and not deal with the crazy irritation, bumps, and redness I have dealt with elsewhere. I have very senstive, allergic prone skin and chronic eczema. This can make hair removal a nightmare (I am not really able to shave/tweeze anymore).I am so happy I found this place after wasting a lot time and money with other people. I have seen Emily, Dominque, and Yocheved so far. They are all professional, kind, and knowledgeable electrolysists. If your hair gives you anxiety/confidence issues or you’ve had bad results before, I’d give this place a try.P.S.- I have a nickel allergy and use gold probes here, so far no problems!!

The studio is clean, bright, and exactly what you would expect from a high end electrolysis studio minus the upitty judgemental atmosphere. We all check things on the internet now. It’s a great tool nowadays to not waste our time and money. We value others’ opinions especially if it comes to our health or beauty. You can easily say that you can give something at least a try if reviews are great…I opened that account only for Emily but I would love to share my experience since I decided to try this method only because I read reviews of her phenomenal skills. I feel like it’s my obligation since it literally changed my life!You have to understand that I have been struggling with my hair since I started shaving. I am blonde with a very fair and extremely sensitive skin. I had to shave almost twice a day (!) and my skin was ALWAYS irritated with awful ingrown hair / pimples etc. It’s embarrassing and not healthy to have your skin in that condition almost every day… I am pretty sure there is a lot of people like me. Every cosmetologist I went to, was always very disappointed with the results of his/her methods. A lot of them told me there is not much I can do beside NOT shaving at all.I have tried every method that exists beside electrolysis. I had to treat my skin conditions with laser for over 8 months ($$$) after awful waxing experience. It helped my skin to heal a bit but it didn’t remove my hair at all. I was advised that it might not work because of my hair type. After years of looking for anything that will work on my skin/hair I finally sat down again with my computer and I told myself – one more try… and I give up. I have been advised by one cosmetologist to try electrolysis because it might be my last chance. She also told me to be very careful because it all depends on technician’s skills. And that’s how I found Emily. I read a lot about this method and again… I was terrified. I read some awful stories about people who went to strange places and came back with scars etc. But then I told myself: look for the best rated place here in NYC and give it a try… there is nothing else left. All these great reviews cannot be fake, right?I went to Emily. She explained me everything in details. You will be amazed how knowledgeable, patient and professional she is. She showed me how electrolysis works and did a little test on my skin to explain the procedure further. Let me tell you one thing: if you’re afraid of pain (I am) but you already tried waxing before.. you will laugh at it.I am after my 5th or 6th session already. I understand each person is different and results differ BUT… my hair is almost GONE. My skin for the first time looks like SKIN itself. It’s AMAZING and I still cannot believe it. I would recommend Emily to everyone. You will not receive better treatment anywhere. If you’re still thinking whether try it or not… DO IT. The only regret I have now is that I didn’t try it years ago.
