Going to China was an amazing experience and the best summer I have had to date. The staff is helpful and available for any questions and the program is specifically designed to help you feel comfortable while also experiencing all that China has to offer. Ive been able to attend a Sichuan Opera, a Tea Ceremony, learn Chinese and travel through the city on my own, and meet a bunch of people with similar passions and interests. Living in Chengdu was both affordable and easy to travel around due to their new metro station that is foreigner friendly with English writings for each metro stop. I recommend anyone with the opportunity to look into the program and experience a summer of a lifetime.

The staffs are very nice and helpful. I had an wonderful summer program experience in G-MEO Chengdu American Center. Each courses professors,who came from FDU, are friendly and helpful. They not only provide very good study and living environment, but also focus very high academic quality for students. Finally, G-MEO provides lost of very good programs for students who want to have an wonderful experience for studying in China.

I went during my spring 2019 semester. It is an amazing experience and I believe if you or anyone has the opportunity to go abroad go to China. You meet new friends and get the opportunity to experience a whole new culture. Even though there was a language barrier I was still able to get by on google translate and the phrases I learned in my Chinese language class. Go to China it is amazing.

The quality of the professors, G-MEO staff, and facilities exceeded my expectations. The staff is very organized, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Chengdu itself is an amazing city with so much to do, it is very hard to get bored. I am glad I got to spend my summer here. I would love to come back and visit!

I attended the summer program in 2017 and i thought this is a wonderful experience in my whole summer section. They not only provide me a good environment to work hard but also provide a good vacation for us. They provided a guide to take us to various scenic spots in chengdu every weekend.I thought this is a good things for someone who had a tired and busy week cause they can had a good relaxed and also made some friends. And about the academic, they provide a nice professor from FDU and the teaching assistants were also very helpful. I had a good experience during my summer and to my surprise, the transcript arrived at my school soon after the summer vacation. No delays!No red tape. I like it.Very helpful.

Studying abroad through G-MEO was a life changing decision. I arrived in Chengdu, China with little to no idea of what I wanted to do in the future and just one semester to study in China. Within the first few weeks I decided I wanted and needed to stay for another semester. I ended up studying in Chengdu for 2 consecutive semesters and then had an internship that summer.The opportunities that G-MEO provides to its students are second to none. Whether it is through the internship program, or in the classroom, students will be pushed out of their comfort zone and will grow because of it.I did not know what to expect going into the first semester. I had a list of things to bring, which I brought, but I didn’t have a clue what my living conditions would be. We were more than taken care of. Some of us lived in a foreign students dorm, which is fairly comfortable, even for American dorm room standards. Other students lived in a hotel, both had their advantages, but needs were accommodated if students wanted to be in one place or the other.Other things to note: the food is delicious and cheap (as well as spicy). The staff in New York and Chengdu are all awesome and will try to help as much as they can in every situation.

Studying abroad in China was an amazing experience. My trips, friendships, and networking connections I made were incredibly rewarding. I was able to be independent, grow as an adult, and get to experience an entire new culture. Participating in an internship, helping other chinese students learn English, and visiting new places made unforgettable memories I will always have with me.

Chengdu is an amazing city, I met the best people, and my experience will stay with me forever. Through the program I was able to have a Chinese language tutor who also became a good friend. I loved the experience and I really encourage anyone who can to go, even if you dont know any Chinese!

I attended their summer session program in 2017. They really did a fantastic job in connecting Chinese culture with American education. People there were nice and friendly. Unlike other summer schools that provided students too much fun and relaxation, G-MEO paid more attentions on students academic performance. I appreciated that I chose G-MEO as my first summer program in China.

I studied abroad in china this past summer through this program and it was one of the best experiences of my life. GMEO does an amazing job ensuring that you are not only there to get class credit but as well to be fully immersed in the culture via expeditions and given free time to join lessons on a tea ceremony or calligraphy. The GMEO staff are some of the most knowledgable people and will help ensure that you get all the facts and help you need to get you to China!

I am disappointed at the lack of professionalism. I had an interview scheduled, and G-Meo said they are postponing it just a few hours before it was supposed to start. Also said that the staff will reach out to reschedule but never did. I initiated contact about a week later in regards to that, and I received no response. Its such a shame. I really thought that their company had a good purpose.

I had a life-changing experience at GMEO China, as an American Born Chinese and speaking a very similar dialect to Sichuan dialect, adapting to the culture and lifestyle, it was such an amazing experience. This summer, I had the great pleasure and honor of studying and interning abroad in Chengdu, China for 11 weeks through Global Maximum Educational Opportunities (GMEO).  While in China, I took two classes, Basic Chinese and Professional Development, and I was a law intern at the DeHeng Law Offices in the High-Tech Zone of Chengdu. It was a fantastic opportunity to intern at such a prestigious law firm and I was able to make valuable connections with many intelligent and successful women and men.  It was particularly valuable for me to get to work in a world power such as China because it augments my knowledge of International Business (my academic major). My Chinese class, although an entry level course, was rigorous and taught me over two hundred Chinese words.Outside of the classroom, I had a wonderful time exploring the city of Chengdu with my new friends. We went to many places in Chengdu such as the Global Center (the biggest building in the world), Chunxi Road, the Wenshu Monastery, and People’s Park. I tried many of the local Sichuan meals including the spicy, hotpot! Also, I got to have some incredible experiences traveling to different cities in China. The transportation is very good in China and I was able to ride on the high-speed train to various cities at a low price.  Over the summer, I visited Leshan, Emeishan, Xi’an, Beijing, and Qingcheng.Visiting these different parts of China was absolutely amazing and gave me memories that will last a lifetime.GMEO is a wonderful program to help you realize your study/intern abroad goals. They are very accommodating to you and helpful from start to finish (from applying to the program all the way to keeping in touch once you have gotten home). I love the community which the Gmeo team has and they truly want to make your experience the best that it can be. My semester abroad with G-MEO was one of the most positive and life-changing experiences of my life. I went during the Spring semester of my sophomore year to study at the Chengdu American Center and I highly recommend this program.
