I want to thank Gregory and the staff at Perazzo Funeral Home for taking such good care of us while planning my fathers funeral. Planning a funeral is one of the hardest things a person must do and Gregory’s attention to detail and being so caring during a difficult time made things so much easier for my family and I. He was there every step of the way from beginning to end and never skipped a beat. Thank you for helping us bring my dad back to “The Neighborhood” one last time. ♥️

On behalf of my family, I want to thank Pete, Jennifer, and the entire staff for the personalized and courteous care they showed us while dealing with the loss of our mother. Jennifer was our director and she held our hands throughout the entire process. All of our requests were happily accommodated and every detail was handled with compassion and dignity, making the experience as comfortable as possible. If practical, I strongly suggest pre-planning the arrangements, where you can make reasonable decisions while of a sound mind. I feel that worked well for us. Either way, you can count on compassionate, personalized care when the day comes that you require this service

Thank you Peter DeLuca, and the Perazzo Funeral Home. I am doing research on my family history and I needed assistance finding information about my Great Grandfathers funeral, which was held at the Perazzo Funeral Home in 1925. Peter went out of his way to look into their vault and found the information I needed. Amazing. Peter responded quickly and graciously went over the details with me. He was interested in my research and we had a delightful conversation. Thank you, Peter, for brightening my day with your wonderful research and enthusiasm.

My family has had 3 different funerals at Perazzos and every time we are given great service and are extremely satisfied. The staff is professional, accommodating, and on top of all our needs and details making the process run very smoothly. We could not be more grateful for all they do in our time of grief and how they have handled our services. I highly recommend their services to my friends and anyone I know.

I had been to a number of wakes here over the years, but I never took notice of Perazzo’s professionalism and over-the-top personal customer service until my parents passed away. When my father died a few years ago, I was beside myself with grief and fear.....totally overwhelmed. My father was the one who took care of these matters......I was paralyzed and didn’t know how to begin. Jennifer Greenberg was the funeral director I dealt with at that time. She was masterful in her handling of everything.....including me! I was so impressed that I am still grateful to her for the care she took of my mother and me in getting us through what was the worst time in our lives, until recently. This past August 2020, my mother passed away after being bed bound for four years at home. Because we lived together, I never realized the total deterioration of my beautiful mother her last two weeks on earth. Seemingly overnight, she had become a human skeleton and soon passed. I was terrified to see her at rest; I could not imagine how anyone could mask what she had become. Gregory Zannitto was the funeral director for my mother. I am still in awe at how beautiful my mom looked that day. Except for her incredible thinness, she was almost as beautiful as she had been all her life. Once again, thanks to the extreme professionalism and talents of one of Perazzo’s funeral directors, I will be eternally grateful that I chose this establishment. Gregory’s attention to detail and handling of my mother as if she were related to him will never be forgotten. I was treated like family throughout both funerals, I received personal phone calls from Perazzo’s owner, Peter DeLuca; overall, I do not believe anyone, anywhere could have taken better care of my beloved parents and of me through the worst times of my life. May God bless them all.

The Greenwich Village in which I grew up many years ago, like so many neighborhoods in New York City, has changed significantly. My old grammar school, St. Anthony’s, no longer exists as have so many other former landmarks. Yes, there are a few still around, though maybe not in the same place. Arturo’s (I delivered pizzas for them way back when) shifted two blocks east from Macdougal Street and across a widened Houston Street (it’s now lovingly managed by the daughter and son of the original owners). Some things have remained as touchstone of consistency. I commend to the reader Perazzo Funeral Home on Bleecker Street for consideration. For nearly a century, Perazzo’s has maintained and enhanced its image and reputation for providing a comprehensive range of pre-planning, funeral and, more recently, cremation services with affordable prices and financial arrangements. But this hardly paints a clear picture of Perazzo’s. It is a neighborhood entity, one which provides superior, attentive, understanding and caring service as if each client was a neighborhood friend. Indeed, it has been the funeral home of choice for three members of my immediate family, as well as for many other families of my friends, classmates, and neighbors from the neighborhood. It has provided pre-planning trust assistance; handled two cremation services for my own family; and rendered invaluable assistance with obtaining appropriate grave markers. But that’s still not the whole story. What Perazzo offers is unswervingly commitment to give superior, truly personalized service, with compassion, understanding, and insight above and beyond the stressful experience of interment. The client not only feels that Perazzo’s is highly competent, but that they care, and understand the grief, confusion, uncertainty, and hesitance people suffer with the passing of a loved one. These qualities of personal service are consistently and universally espoused, personified, and diligently shepherded by Peter Deluca, Perazzo’s “hands on” Director for more than 30 years, and his talented staff of Funeral Directors, Jennifer Greenberg, Joel Schumacher, and Greg Zannitto. During the most recent occasion, they went the extra mile in assisting our entire family during a set of rather complicated, stressful events, once again rising to the fore. I can only urge you to keep Perazzo’s Funeral Home in mind even before the passing of a loved one.

The entire staff at Perazzo Funeral Home is one of a kind. It’s as if they were born to perform these services. We were greeted at the hardest time in our lives with extreme warmth and kindness. Peter DeLuca, Jennifer Greenberg, Gregory Zannitto and the entire staff are a part of our family. My mother’s viewing and burial went off very smooth especially with the restrictions in place. I recommend everyone to trust your departed loved ones with the #1 Funeral Home in all New York City.

The staff at the Perazzo funeral home are simply amazing and the service they provided during my family’s time of hardship couldn’t have been better. Everyone there was thoughtful, professional, and took a genuine initiative to do anything they could to help us. During times of grief, everything, even the smallest thought can become overwhelming… but with such incredible people like Peter and his staff, we felt at ease. They helped us through every detail and every bit of the process of planning a memorial, from the prayer cards to the music, to making sure we had enough chairs and space for the people coming to pay their respects in a beautiful, comfortable environment. I could not be more thankful for all that the people at Perazzo have done for my family and I.
