I had never heard of this funeral service in Harlem, was so accustom to Ortiz that never, ever gave this a thought but recently my best friends Dad passed away (who was like my Dad too) and someone had told her about this place and I was with her from the very start to the end and I have to say we met with Jenny and shes a BEAST at her trade, she was compassionate, yet, easy going and made us smile during this hard time for us. Jenny really came through with all of our familys request, she made us feel like we were her only priority. Everything was perfect for my best friends Dad, just how we wanted it. The Place is small but very modern and clean. No one likes to go through this, but when you do, please come here and ask for Jenny oh and she speaks Spanish! Serving our community!

I couldnt of asked for a more caring and understanding team of people to arrange my fathers funeral. Emily was attentive, compassionate and everything that a funeral director should be. With our current passing of our father we didnt even know were to start with this painful process. However Myrna and Lilly made it so much easier. Myrna and Lilly exceptional knowledge, professionalism, transparency, and overall energy was definitely comforting to us to know that my dad was not just a body in their funeral home but a family member that still needed the outmost respect and caring as any living person.

April 22nd 2021 my precious M❤THER left this earth and went into the loving arms of our L💖RD and SAVI💖R JESUS. Owner Pat Marmo and his staff Myrna & Jenny were WONDERFUL. Their sense of CARING was obvious. The funeral home setting was PERFECT & their attention to details is to be COMMENDED...from flowers to commemorative jewelry, to Prayer cards, to a video, & even to the colored trim lighting in the room. I provide pictures of myM❤THER and some of her favorite music and they transformed it into a phenomenal, wonderfully honoring video. As strange as it may seem to get compliments on how beautiful my mother looked, the setting & the video, I got many. If you are looking for a place that will honor your loved one in their final send off, this is the place I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Let me share the most caring experience I received from International Funeral Home. Pat, Jenny, Lilly, and the whole team from start to finish was superb! You could always tell the quality of an experience when things are hitting the fan in the world (Pandemic). The character traits of this place/people was full of integrity, compassion, and total commitment. When the Pandemic was hitting us hard my Grandma had past away at the same time. My experience was of the upmost highest quality here. The staff was pleasant, caring, communicative, and constantly delivering us all the necessary steps to finalize the arrangements. And while the Pandemic was hitting us hard back in April, many places were so busy, lack emotions, were frustrated, lost integrity due to price gouging, and furthering monetization. International Funeral Home was the opposite, they were extremely busy as well but it was not noticeable due to their professionalism of handling this major crisis. We had to leave our go to family funeral home services for reasons mentioned above and came to International funeral home. Pat Marino and his staff was the best. They took care of everything for me and put me at ease because I live in Fl and my mom passed unexpectedly in NY. I was so lost but he made the most hardest time in my life bearable. I did not have a service there but he waited for me to get there so I could say my goodbyes before I had her cremated. My mother passed away in the early morning hours of January 11th, 2020. My father was too distraught to make the arrangements regarding my mother’s funeral services and entrusted those responsibilities to me.I immediately “Googled” funeral homes near me and found several including “International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights”. The reviews were very good, so I decided to take a chance.I called their number that same morning; which was on a Saturday and was told that they could see my dad and I in an hour.My father and I arrived and were immediately greeted by Pat, Jenny and Alisha. All three were extremely polite, courteous, compassionate and VERY sympathetic to our loss.Pat took some preliminary information from us and then told us that Jenny would be the Funeral Director for my mom’s services. Jenny interviewed us to help her get a feeling for who my mom was. I told her everything that she needed to know and then she asked me to email her pictures of my mom.My father wanted a 2-day viewing of 6 hours for each day.Jenny created an amazing slideshow of my mom with the pictures that I provided and even had my mom’s favorite music; subtly, playing in the background.Alisha handled cosmetology and did an amazing job on my mom including freshening up her makeup after my father kissed mom several times.Pat went above and beyond in helping us to get a Priest for the service as well as helping; TREMENDOUSLY, with getting a burial plot for my mother.The funeral parlor itself is immaculately kept. Everything appeared to be brand new.Considering the unfortunate circumstances that brought us to “International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights”, Pat, Jenny and Alisha did an AMAZING job with my mother’s services and in making my family as comfortable as possible and putting us at ease, the best they could.“International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights” delivered First-Class service and I would rate them as a AAA+++ establishment.

Racist people working here. Please avoid at all cost.They asked me where Im from in which I replied Texas and they kept asking the same old cliche questions Where are you from ORIGINALLY? Where were you before Texas? What is your nationality? They wanted to dig deep and wouldnt accept what I had replied. It was as if they didnt want to accept my initial answer and that I owe them some kind of response. Like they wanted to give me a hint or find a different way to word the question youre not white you cant call America your home country. IS THAT QUESTION SO IMPORTANT??????????????

I recently lost my cousin to covid and Pat Marmo And Jenny were exceptional. Excellent service, fast and efficient, but above all they were very understanding and compassionate in these difficult times. They were so kind and warm and I know that is how funeral homes are supposed to be in this time of grief but they are different from any other funeral homes and I went to 8 before I made them my final decision. The moment I got in there this very large size woman asked whats your nationality?I particularly hated her tone and the way she talked. It was as if she wanted to categorize me immediately.
