We live in a coop building in Turtle Bay and recently renovated our kitchen using Knockout.Overall the design process went very well, the quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and were very happy with the results.Like all renovation projects, once we started we found a few things we needed to fix or adjust. I was worried but the team did a great job handling these curveballs.One thing you should know: the paperwork took way longer than I expected so we started work later than I hoped. Once we started though, work progressed smoothly. We ended the project on time and actually under budget.

When I became interested in renovating and modernizing my bathroom,I reached out to numerous design and build firms. I got detailed quotes from 4 different firms, while Knockout Renovation didnt provide the cheapest quote, it was very competitive and I felt most comfortable proceeding with them.Both June and Keith have been great to work with and they helped me make the best of my space and proposed designs that fit my needs and aligned with what was important to me.The approval from the co-op board was a struggle and I had to negotiate on some matters with the board. This added significant delays to the work start date and I didnt get approval for everything I wanted. The delays threw some of my plans off. While these delays werent coming from Knockout, rather from the co-op board, my feedback to Knockout would be to keep track of the average time co-op boards take to approve bathroom renovations and set expectations with clients accordingly.Once the project was finally started, Knockout Renovation delivered on the actual demolition and reconstruction work on time and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Im extremely happy with the outcome, the bathroom looks and functions great! I would use Knockout Renovation in the future again. Thank you for everything!

Knockout did a full gut renovation on my 2 bed / 2 bath apartment in 2015 and I cannot say enough good things about them. The designer I worked with was absolutely standout, helped me stay in budget and still get the look I was after. The workers and tradesmen who came to the apartment during the reno (which my dog and I were still living in) all were very careful and did nice work. I especially appreciated how clean and careful they were to ensure my dog didnt get in to anything, even when the apartment was a fully open workspace. The renovation work came with a 7 year warranty on the work done and now, five years later, I can say that Knockout has 100% stood by their work. Ive had only a few minor items arise that Ive called them about in the past five years, but in each case, Keith and his team were responsive and the people they sent to address each item were prompt, helpful and very effective. Am loving my new apartment and looking forward to my next renovation project with the Knockout team.

Knockout did an outstanding job with our kitchen & bath renovation. Even though we didnt make any structural changes, it transformed our apartment -- very much for the better. 10 years ago Knockout Renovation renovated our kitchen. A decade later, it still looks (and WORKS) fantastic, and I love using it (I cook a LOT). Like many NYC kitchens, ours is short and narrow and teeny-weenie. Working with Knockout, we designed a kitchen that would function like a boat galley - every single space is utilized, and cooking runs smoothly and efficiently because of the structural design of appliances integrated with work surfaces. We have secret cupboards behind the kickplates at the bottom of the cabinets, secret drawers adjacent to the sink, high reaching cabinets up to the ceiling, I asked for it - they did it. And they all still work well today. When our faucet attachment broke recently (not Knockouts fault, just lots of wear and tear), they came almost instantly (10 years later!!!) to install a new one, that matched perfectly and functions like a dream. I love this company. Ive been saving up so someday they can re-do my ancient bathrooms... but our kitchen is a showpiece.

Keith and Gent are an incredible team that understand your renovation needs, make great suggestions and know how to execute. We had a water problem on the floor of our apartment, needed to replace the wood with ceramic tile, remodel the kitchen and bathroom, re-wallpaper, re-paint, and add trims throughout the renovated area. It was an extensive job that was done well. Gent and his team are very talented with their hands, while being creative with their solutions. Keith oversees everything, and never was phased with challenges. Both were flexible and acted professionally at all times. We are now happily enjoying the results, and I appreciate their care throughout the project. I highly recommend Knockout Renovation for any renovation project.

Knockout Renovation gut renovated my pre-war 1920s Manhattan apartment. They did a superb job. The kitchen was gutted and completely redone, 2 walls were built to create my art studio as well as all the floors refinished, 2 bathrooms 90% redone, apt rewired with new lighting and all new painting. The work was completed on schedule and almost within budget (due to my adding new features, not due to any fault on the part of Knockout). I would definitely recommend Knockout Renovation to anyone looking to renovate their home. They are professional, creative, friendly and completely reliable. I hired Knockout Renovation to renovate my kitchen and bathroom in my prewar apartment in 2007. After carefully planning the project exactly to my specifications, Keith and his team completed the work on time and within our planned budget. My apartment posed some unique challenges given that the building was built in the 1920s and Knockout was able to come up with solutions to problems posed by working in an old building. I found them to be proactive, creative, responsible and thorough. The quality of their work was ver high and they made sure that I was completely happy with everything before deeming the project complete. After living in the apartment for seven years, a pipe behind the wall in my kitchen broke (it was a building problem, completely unrelated to anything Knockout had done) which necessitated sections of my floor and cabinets being removed so the plumbers could access the problem area. I called Keith and although he had completed his work for me seven years ago, he called me back within minutes and arranged for someone to be in to my apartment on the very next business day to fix what ended up being a complicated problem. He didnt even charge me to do this follow up work despite the fact that the problem was in no way caused by Knockout and several years had passed. I so appreciate his professionalism, efficiency, fairness and trustworthiness. I feel very confident recommending Knockout to anyone interested in a high quality renovation of their home.

It was a pleasure working with Keith and Loredana on my kitchen renovation project. I had never undertaken such a large and costly project before, and Keith turned a potentially intimidating and sprawling effort into a straightforward plan. Loredana is an excellent designer and has a knack for understanding the needs of clients with little or no experience in home design. Shes a little stubborn but its OK because shes always right.Knockout is a full-service firm and works directly with co-op or condo boards if needed so you dont have to handle the paperwork. They also work with their own subcontractors and suppliers and prefer to purchase materials through them. The end result is pricier than a lot of contractors but the savings in time and effort made up for it in my case.I would definitely work with Knockout again in the future.
