Great venue space. I’ve worked here many times. They everything you need (including elevator) and it fits 100-400 ppl nicely

Playtime New York event was amazing and we were spoiled by the whole team during all 5 days. Total success. Cant wait for next winter season.

Beautiful place for any special event

Great location, the space is a very decent size. I Worked the Budweiser Live FIFA event and the set up was awesome. The staff of the venue are very on point in making sure the event runs smoothly. They make sure the people are safe while having fun, with plenty of guards. GREAT SOUND SYSTEM.

Great Exibition place

The Altman Building is a fantastic venue. The space is a beautiful mix of modern and historical, and with two levels, there is plenty of room but the venue still feels intimate. The location is easily accessible, with good foot traffic in front of the building. The staff are truly a joy to work with - they are helpful, responsive, flexible, and knowledgeable. The team works hard to provide a superior level of service to their clients, and as a client, I especially appreciated their dedication to our relationship and my event.

Great venue

Its basically just a space, which is good and bad. It means that it doesnt start with much, but it also means that it is your blank canvas just begging to be imparted with a masterpiece. They have good facilities to manage people and to handle a large variety of events.

Ive been here for different events and its a really nice space. The layout is all open, so you can really manipulate the space to accommodate any kind of event. Down stairs has another open area, although its not as big and the main floor. They have nice hardwood floors and they maintain the facilities very well.

Easy accesbility

I went here with friends for a wine tasting event. This space is huge and it gathered with people quite quickly. Whether wine, whiskey, food, deserts or products being sold, it was a very good time.

Work on the street but always changing and lively. Looks like a great event space when I walk by. Alot of big events to small pop-up sales.

Attended a week of conferences here (Internet Week 2014). I think the location is great as it was an easy block from the subway and I was able to explore the area a bit during my breaks so there was plenty of little shops and things in the area. The building itself was a nice space for a conference or convention. My only complaint would be there were just not enough outlets for the amount of people that were there but Im not sure how that could be resolved.

Beautiful event space, easy to access from Penn Station (0.8m walk or a 3 stop subway ride) and lovely old architecture. Playtime NYC has been held here for years and the space is perfect for this childrenswear trade show.

Went to a Scottish Ceilidh there during Tartan Week. Great venue. Coach check was super helpful. I would use it for any event.

Every event I attend here is unique. Find that the space is adaptive to many industries needs.Enjoy going here and have for years.

This is a fairly large venue that can host parties, exhibitions and other events, fitting probably up to 200 people. The ceilings are high so makes the single room look big. The large projector in the middle of the room can be great for presentations, and furniture such as chairs, tables, benches and 2 bars can accomodate various types of events. Good venue overall.

For the NYC wine tasting event: small, no seating, crowded, cash only coat check but no atmthe space however was nice, well lit, temp controlled.

Great place to rent for parties and sales. Friendly staff and very helpful workers.

Nice place. Attended a Macallan tasting here. Large space, clean. Im not sure if the building ran the coat check or Macallan, but instead of giving you a ticket they sent you a text to claim your coat. Great system.
