I was a New INC member for two years. I loved it. It was a turning point in my career. I built a great community, trust, a creative practice. I also got a great deal of support from all the staff, mentors and members. Being next door to New Museum was a plus. I hope to be able to give back someday. That New INC can still thrive despite the uncertainty of COVID 19.

NewInc is an Experiential group of artist and entrepreneurs curated by a very selective group in a space next door to the museum as an an initiative dedicated to support innovation, collaboration, and technology.

As a former member, I am biased. The NEW INC team and director Stephanie Pereira terminated my membership without a cause on one of the deadliest days of the pandemic with 11,000+ daily cases and 1,000+ deaths daily - while all my resources and network came via the incubator program!Mid April, days after Stephanie Pereira emailed me she is looking forward to my contributions.Why would they - two other people at least got contracts’ terminated - do that while we all suffered so much from COVID-19?
