Great space which showcases and supports the arts and artist from the diaspora. I attended a conference during my visit. The floor plan was great for the event space in that attendees were able to move easily from space to space with a coat check in the stair case. I would recommend this place to visit and participate in. The currently galleries are beautiful in person.

A welcoming and inspiring cultural space, displaying innovative exhibitions about the modern and contemporary visual arts of the African and Caribbean diaspora. It was a pleasure to be introduced to CCCADIs artistic director Danetta Jimenez and her colleague Nefertiti, who shared tremendous insights about the history and ethos of the organisation. The shop at the reception also has a wonderful selection of gifts, heritage resources, educational publications and high quality, illustrated catalogues of past art exhibitions. I highly recommend visiting CCCADI as an integral aspect of any visit to the many cultural venues in Harlem, NYC.

The Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute is a multi-disciplinary center which integrates the arts, education, activism and critical perspectives to foster social and personal transformation. Founded by Dr. Marta Moreno Vega in 1976, the Caribbean Cultural Center is a vibrant home for global afro-descendant cultural programming. Hope to see you soon! Love and light to you and your family!

Great off the beaten path with a focus on learning, spirituality as well as a focus on our connection to Africa across the diaspora. The comic exhibit is phenomenal featuring African and Latino graphic artists. You wont see anything like this elsewhere. Upcoming workshops as well. The space is absolutely beautiful and modern.

One of my favorite spots in New York! She has everything and is so friendly. I have tried everything on the menu and every special night...AWESOME. The food is so much better than Island Spice. The service is courteous but not uptight.

Stopped by this restaurant with some co-workers and the area was not the best, but the food was really good. it actually tasted like home made. i believe it was the owner who took us the order, got it ready and served. he was very pleasant. highly recommended.

Tha space was beautiful but quite empty as far as art n any real interactive materials. The staff is very unwelcoming to new guests. They only seem to be interested in signing you up for a paid class I wouldnt recommend it unless there is something specific you want n cant get it anyplace else

This small gallery has two floors of interesting diaspora art. There were two brief film presentations in a comfortable room on the side. There is an elevator and three rest rooms on the lower level. Wheelchair accessible entry. Nice place to spend part of an afternoon.

Tasty! Tried their jerk chicken and oxtail which came with some veggies, rice/beans and plantains. Sadly, they were out of meat pies. Next time! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back. Yum!!

I have been on the CCCADIs Email list for more than a year, and this was the first time that their event schedule and my professional schedule meshed. Although I was not able to stay for the entire event time period of The Color of Power: Heroes, Sheroes, and Their Creators, I was so happy I was able to enjoy this celebration of African and Caribbean culture. In the meantime, the staff was friendly and professional, the building is gorgeous, and the basement level has the bathrooms. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can. #representationmatters
