I had a ride today with one of the drivers Coge, Pique and I requested the ride through the app. He was very disgusting, yelling at me while I had my daughter with me and I am 4 months pregnant. He demanded I give him more money after I paid him $13 for my ride. Terrible terrible service. I called the base and they did nothing. I’m not going to tolerate a man treating a woman like this just because I was by myself. I didn’t have to give him more money than what the meter said !!! How dare he and shame on this company. Something needs to be done.

I use this company for taxi service daily. Today July 14th 2021 at 630am...the lady in the office does not pick up the phone for 20 minutes at a time . you have to call like its a hotline everytime she works. the phone ring and rings. this is very unproffessional.

I called to get a taxi and immediately the guy kept talking over me telling me he cant help me because Im calling from a private number. I told him I can provide my number but again he didnt allow me to finish any sentence. I have had my number for 20 years when private numbers were issued. Jackass! Its the only phone I got. Had you listened you would have had a stable customer as I dont have a car yet. Again...rude jerk....never calling again.

Horrible service waited 30 mins gor my cab. I called and they said that it should arrive in less than 2 minutas gave me the car # 10 minutes passed and nothing. Then out of nowhere comes the cab# that was supposed to pick me up with someone else in there

The driver was not wearing a face mask in the middle of the pandemic, a complete disregard of customers health. They should inform people when the cab is requested that they are not enforcing any covid preventions, so at least, we, the customers, dont waste time.Never using this company again.

I’d give no stars if I could. For the no f’s this company gives about screwing hard working people out of their money. Thieves and con artists. Unfortunately when one is in a rush they don’t think to look up reviews. I had to get to nyc from New Rochelle in the hour so I called the top 3 cab services in New Rochelle. They all said they had no taxis available. So then I called this company, express city taxi aka Barry’s taxi service. I asked if there was a cab available to take me from New Rochelle to manhattan. The dispatch replied they would send someone right over. 20 minutes later(that’s NOT RIGHT over) the guy shows up. I approach the taxi and he asks me if I want him to run me over? First words out of his late mouth. Didn’t find that funny and you’re late. I told him I needed to get to the city ASAP. He drove especially slow and pretended like he didn’t know how to get there. I turned on the directions on MY phone to help him DO his job. When we get to the city 40 minutes later he tells me the total is 77 dollars including the tolls. That’s almost 100 dollars. I inquired how much was the toll for you, 35 dollars? ONLY then does he tell me they charge a 68 dollar base fee from New Rochelle to Manhattan. The dispatch didn’t say this. This is no where to be found on the vehicle, but I had to pay this insane amount. Not only is it seriously fowl in the way they run this business, there’s NO transparency about their pricing policies. They don’t have a visible meter in the cab so they’re just making up prices as you go. That sounds ILLEGAL to me. The “taxi” smelled like rotten feet and he had air fresheners up because he knew he smelled. He had to window open half the time(probably due to his smell) and it was raining. I would report this to the bureau but this town loves to tread on the people of color who live here. I can’t WAIT for Uber and Lyft to put these lying low lifes out of work permanently. I’m downloading the apps right now. I will NEVER use these dirty trifling taxi services again. Shady fowl people.

The dispatcher is rude, and nasty attitude. If the cab is running late and you call back to find out wheres the ride, she hangs up on you. Yet, Im the paying customer.
