Igor Gracie himself is a standup guy. Definitely one of the best Jiujitsu instructors I have come across. He is extremely welcoming and humble when it comes to people and the environment. The mats are always clean. All the Jiujitsu practitioners make you feel at home. Everyone in the gym is friendly and make you feel comfortable. I do not have anything negative to say about Igor Gracie III-jitsu academy.

Their fundamentals for children is very useful in everyday life. The school is very clean and tons of parking. I highly recommend it for children and adults. I had the pleasure of knowing Igor Gracie for several years now and as soon as I heard he opened up a Jiu Jitsu school in New York I had to visit. Man was I impressed! Talk about lineage...He is the grandson of the creator! The academy is kept very clean, it has a friendly and fun atmosphere, and Igor makes you feel like youre apart of the family. One standout of the academy is the kids program. His curriculum does a great job at teaching children. They learn self esteem, respect, and have fun doing it! Simply the best!

The level of instruction is as good as it gets.Professor Igor and instructors Jaoa & Ramon all explain the moves with excellent detail and are always there to correct us or show us how we could be doing something better.
