My family and I been members for awhile. Always top notch service and facility. I must say that recently I have been very impressed with their dedicated response to Covid-19. Beyond the expected, on several occasions I have watched their team methodically clean and sanitize every piece of equipment. Thank you for helping stay healthy! Staff is always welcoming, knowledgeable & friendly. Hands down the best gym around! - Also, they make the best shakes!

The facilities at this gym are pretty good, machines are maintained well and there is almost always available equipment.

Beware shady business practices at Fitness Factory in New Providence. Hiding behind a non-existent corporate as an excuse for charging money they shouldnt. Better look elsewhere.

Been going here for a while and pre-COVID it was pretty busy around 5-7pm. Now it does get busy still around that time but not as much. No showers at the moment but changing rooms are open Masks are mandatory although no one is gonna come hunt you down if you go to a corner and take a breather. Staff is very friendly and helpful and props to the cleaning crew for how clean everything is. I even saw them wiping down the door handles during peak hours.

Friendly staff, extremely clean, many weights and machine options to choose from. Huge floor space, so distance is not a concern. I feel completely comfortable being there despite whats going on outside.

Fully equipped and spotless. Everytime Im there i always see the equipment being disinfected. Especially reassuring during this weird covid time. Staff is always friendly, outgoing, and helpful.

I have been a member for over four years now. Clean and spacious gym, with a very helpful and friendly staff. Gym could be busy pre-COVID but even then you rarely, if ever, had to wait for a machine. They have gone the extra mile now to foster a safe environment for those members who feel comfortable coming back. Those who have returned have been very responsible and considerate regarding masks, social distancing and cleaning machines/equipment after use. I feel safe and comfortable working out here, and it has been an important part returning to some form of normalcy.

Good gym with reasonable pricing..steam room (steam room has been down for 4 months) and sauna are a nice feature.Weight equipment is a little outdated and when I suggested to the gym manager to bring in a new piece of arm equipment, he essentially said they have all the equipment you would ever need to do a workout and if I was suggesting new equipment I wasnt doing my exercises the right way.Been to a lot of gyms in my days and this gym just lacks certain equipment that Ive seen in every other gym Ive been a member of.Would appreciate if the management would listen to their customers rather than automatically assuming their customers arent working out their muscles correctly.

Great gym. It can get crowded sometimes but the trick is to go there at 4 instead of 5 😅Its a great place to be if you want to do weights because a lot of chain gyms that are cheap dont focus on weights and just have tons of treadmills inside. This gym is spacious and there are always a lot of new pieces of equipment.

Great spot for a lift. This place has just about everything you need for an amazing workout. I had spoken to Nick very knowledgeable and welcoming. Just a great lay out, worth checking out.

Affordable and great location. Always very clean (much cleaner than Lifetime in Berkeley Heights which is way more expensive). Nice staff. Free towel to use (same as Lifetime). Nice sauna especially in the winter.

Anyone who knows me knows that Zumba classes at this gym with Heather Lyn and Jackson are literally my favorite hours of the day!!Personal training with Luis is on another level! (just check out his muscles on his insta account @lgmuscles) Spacious, clean facility and its not usually packed. Great childcare support also.

I really like this gym (nice facility, good equipment, generally clean, people are nice) but Im knocking off 2 stars because Management/Staff does nothing to enforce the re-racking of weights.During both peak and quiet hours the majority of the equipment that uses free weights is loaded with multiple plates.The frustrating part is the staff/management will do their own workouts and walk right past all the loaded equipment? Ive never seen any sort of patrol (to remind offending members) or sweep every couple hours to reset things.Again, its a nice gym but be prepared to spend part of your workout unloading/walking around looking for weights because they are all on the equipment.

THE worst advertising gimmick ever! I came out of a store in Blue Star mall & found their ad on my car windshield. But not the usual just mildly annoying ad-on-your-windshield; this was GLUED on so tight that it could not be removed with water & a scraper. I had to buy fingernail polish remover, then soak the blasted thing with remover over & over, repeatedly scraping, too, while the ink stained my hands. If this is how they demonstrate disregard for would-be customers, how do they treat actual customers?

Ive been a member for over 3 years, and I feel the facility offers everything I need. From free weights to machines to classes... Not to mention the steam room and sauna! Also, the employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Good gym with new equipment, but this place not ventilated or air conditioning . Right away you feel stuffy air and sweat traces on all machines. Not for intensive workout, very low standards for cleaning . Management just ignoring your requests. I do not recommend who really like gyms and intensive training .

Ive never left a review for anything but the other comment compelled me to provide my input. Disregarding contractual obligations and having to cope with the repercussions is no excuse for such a negative review as it is not a reflection of the establishment. Nick, Pat, Tyler, and the others have always been courteous and accommodating. I have been a member of multiple gyms over the past several years and none can compare in regards to price, atmosphere, and customer service. I have left other gyms in the area for one reason or another, but have no intentions of leaving FF for the foreseeable future. I would strongly recommend this gym.

I have been going to the Fitness Factory now for 9 months and really love it. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I had never done spin before and the instructors were so good in teaching me spin. If you are looking for a friendly gym to workout at the Fitness Factory in New Providence is the place for you.

The only complaint I ever have about here is that the music over the speaker system can be a bit loud, but other than that this is the perfect smaller sized gym. Theyve got everything I need to lift and workout.

A good gym... with friendly staff and fun classes. They have very good yoga instructors. I wish they had a swiming pool, though.

This is a good option for someone looking for a clean, functional gym with all the basic necessities in the New Providence area.

Im a weight trainer whos been using FF in NP for about a year. I use the gym in usually in the evening during peak hours, and on the weekends in the morning/early afternoon, also during peak hours. I train my entire body and use pretty much everything the gym has to offer in terms of training equipment and cardio equipment. This gym is good for regular to intense lifting and cardio.Pros:- Minimal BS, relatively not crowded, good representation of available equipment (I go at peak hours and rarely need to wait for/work in on a squat rack, bench, treadmills, etc.)- Contrary to another review I read, I find that the gym IS well ventilated/air conditioned. The thermostat is always set to 72 or 73 degrees, and there are ceiling fans always on throughout the gym.- Decently clean showers, lockers, and wet/dry saunas- Unconventional cardio choices like the new curved treadmill and Jacobs Ladder are great to have- Surprisingly big- Helpful/friendly staff and trainers- great wifiCons:- Hours can be restricting. It would be nice if they opened at 4 or 4:30 am on weekdays, and if they stayed open a few hours later on Sat and Sun. Its difficult if you plan on having a long morning workout and start work early.- Overpriced: Im paying $40 a month for a two-year contract. Given relative size and equipment, I would expect to pay between $25 and $30 a month.- My personal biggest complaint: WEIGHTS ARE VERY FREQUENTLY OUT OF PLACE AND NOT PUT BACK BY OTHER LIFTERS. The staff does not seem to do much about organizing (dumbbells out of place, left out on benches, plates put back on racks, such as a 45, 35, 25, 10 and 5 all shuffled together on one prong). I have used several gyms, including multiple college gyms, and I have never seen it this bad.- Lots of areas seem to be rarely cleaned (dust on top of machines and structures)- Often missing paper towels from the Mens bathroom (petty complaint, I know, but it happens pretty often)- Missing key machines/structures: no seated lateral delt raise machine, no T-bar rowing bench, no captains chair (half yoga ball suspended in the air like the back of a chair with handles for lower ab work), No D-handle pulldown bar, to name a few. It would also be nice if the had a few less treadmills and more Stairmasters.- People waiting to start classes often crowd around and block the water fountains and cable machines in the gym area next to the group training room.Overall, I give it 3.5/5. I find my sessions enjoyable from an environmental standpoint and am satisfied with the gym.

Im really glad I joined this gym. There are lots of things I like - the equipment appears new, the fans provide excellent relief from the sweat, the showers are clean and have good water pressure, locker rooms are safe - locks can be provided if youre concerned, towels are provided for both sweat and showering, every cardio machine has a tv attached to it, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and theres a variety of machines and equipment to use. They offer both contractual obligations and month to month memberships so it is really up to you, how often you plan to go to the gym and whether or not a contractual membership is right for you.There are a few things that could be improved - larger variety of cardio machines (there are perhaps too many treadmills), shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, more squat racks!, the tvs with the cardio machines are usually fuzzy, and often around 6:30 there arent enough clean sweat towels for everyone. Despite that, this gym offers everything I need for a good workout. Its a great place with a great team running it
