I had problems with the apartment I moved into. The last tenant had fleas!! When I told the property manager about it, they hired terminex. Terminex came out one time and put out a couple of sticky traps. After a few days of the flea problem got worse, I called again and they said I wasn’t vacuuming enough and that my vacuum was cheap or not powerful enough. I called holt pest control and the fleas were gone that day! When I told holt pest control the chemicals used by terminex, Gerald told me that they were using chemicals meant for roaches, not fleas. Ms. Suzy was so quick to respond and did a great job! Would use them again.

Extremely honest. Scheduled service, and bugs disappeared. Called him, and he suggested we wait and see before servicing. Saved us a service fee. Will definitely call him if problem returns!

I called 4 other companies for quotes to treat my yard as a preventive to keep fleas off my cats rather than having to treat them with those horrible chemicals. All other companies were willing to set me up on expensive plans to prevent fleas from getting indoors. Holt took the time to educate me and realize what I was requesting wasnt logical. Not one other pest control rep told me that treating for fleas BEFORE theres a flea issue is a waste of time and money or that the flea treatment only lasts, at best, 5 days and isnt eco friendly as they were telling me. Holts is the most honest guy! He told me he didnt want to take my money knowing what I was asking for wasnt going to help. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Guess I will be treating the cats as a preventive instead. I was trying to avoid that, but any other option is a waste as I now know, thanks to Holt. I couldnt be more please with Suzy and Geralds courtesy and professionalism. They came out promptly, assessed the situation, explained in easy to understand terms what the problem was, options and the industry standard remediation at a very reasonable cost. I had to rely completely on them because the problem (bees) was a new one on me. The problem ended up resolving itself. I insisted on paying them for their time (I had to insist and Gerald finally, graciously, accepted $40 for their time and expertise). Id be very comfortable calling them in on other jobs.

I am grateful to my friend who recommended Holt Pest Control. Gerald, the owner, came over within2 hrs and listened to my multiple concerns and conflicting options for mitigation after a termite swarmed in May. Should I have my home tented ?Spot treated? or Should I wait and see? After inspecting my home we reviewed the various options, he and I concluded that no action appeared to be needed at this time. My husband and I own multiple properties in the Tarpon Springs area, and we have used Holt Pest Control for a number of years. Gerald has always been able to take care of all of our pest problems. He has eradicated a very difficult German cockroach problem, and took care of a rat infestation in an old bungalow attic. He has solved multiple termite issues with his new heat powered equipment, that saved us thousands of dollars over tenting these properties. He even quickly and efficiently handled a bed bug problem for one of our tenants. He has also solved multiple issues with fleas inside and outside of our properties. The heat treatment was done in one day, no chemicals, very little hassle for us. We avoided fumigation and having to pay for a hotel. Holt Pest Control exceeded my expectations in customer service. I have really bad anxiety and the bed bug situation set it into overdrive. Gerald walked me through prep and took my calls almost immediately up until the extermination date to ease my mind and assured me I was doing everything correctly and not to worry. After the heat treatment, he still stayed in contact to check on the house and to see how I was doing. Great guy and reasonable prices. Dealing with the Holt Pest Control company. It was really awesome from them coming to set up the Heat system to Mr. Holt dealing with my wife while she was freaking out about bed bugs. Mr.Holt answered our calls all day with any questions we had.They used a Heat treatment that lasted for only a few hours but it was just enough to kill every last bug in the condo. The heat treatment didn’t damage anything, it just killed off the bed bugs. If you follow what Mr. Holt tells you to get done beforehand, everything is going to be okay.Thank you !!

Found drywood termites swarming from my bed headboard, which was very disturbing to say the least. Called Holt Pest Control and Gerald was able to stop by my house the next day. He thoroughly inspected my bed headboard and frame and found the headboad was where they live. Suggested a treatment plan with a very unreasonable price and did the job. This was about 6 months ago and there is literally no sign of termite activity (believe me my wife and I check often). Long story short Holt Pest Control saved us from having to replace our bed. Do Not use this company. His “heat treatment “ is ineffective and ruined my kitchen cabinets. He had not paid the judgement I was awarded against Holt Pest Control in small claims court last July. This company is unethical, Dishonestand prays on seniors.
