He intricately described what he was doing and also described what he was working on with several other insanely expensive Rolex movements that were in his shop. One of them was an ultra rare Daytona. This guy has superior skills, no one in New Orleans can match his skillset.Wish I had before and after photos but don’t have them on my phone but he is capable of buffing out extreme scratches and servicing watches from scratch. He can build them from the ground up.Trust Eric with extreme confidence, he will get the job done!!!!!!!!

Went to replace a battery for a childrens watch. The owner did the work on the spot. The quartz watch wasnt displaying any movement. The owner told me to look at the manual. It seems like the watch wasnt operational. I wish he didnt charge me the full price for the battery replacement knowing that the watch had become a dud. I couldve still paid for the time but I dont think it was fair to mislead me. Previously I had done other work which was good. But with this job I am not happy, the business lacks professionalism. Unlikely to use again.

After walk around for severals boutiques with watchmakers in house nobody couldnt service and regulate my watch. Erick knew everything about my watch movement! Visited from Boston and had Erics shop on my places to visit. Very easy to find, right across Canal street from Bourbon St. Eric was very nice, showed me a couple Omega watches and an antique Rolex pocket watch. Huge inventory and good prices. I will definitely return.

Amazing!! The Clock & Watch Shop on Gravier told me they were unable to replace the battery on my Hermes watch, so I called New Orleans Watchmakers and they assured me it would not be a problem. I came in this afternoon and they literally replaced my battery so quickly I barely had time to send a single text! The total cost was $13, in comparison to Hermes price of $40-$50 and 3-week wait time. SO impressed with the service and expertise at New Orleans Watchmakers, I will only be recommending them from here on out!

I recently lost both of my parents to COVID, and I am handling their household. I took my grandfather’s Rolex and three other ladies watches (two of which were my grandmothers from many decades ago). They were all in rough shape (two didn’t even work) and had never been services or cleaned. The personal, one-on-one customer service, professionalism and care that was shown to myself and my property was exemplary and the attention to detail that was displayed far exceeded that of any other similar business or jeweler I have seen. The time pieces quite literally look new! And, they work perfectly!! I am very picky about such things, and I can tell you with much confidence that I will return many times in the future, and can boldly tell you that you will make a huge mistake if you don’t do the same. Oh! And did I mention that their prices were VERY reasonable?!

Eric was the only watch maker in town that was able to fix my unique Swiss time piece. His price was -50% less then the factory quote and I would have had to ship to Switzerland . I highly recommend Eric and staff for all your service and repair of high end time PCs.

I have been here several times and have always had a great experience. The first time I went in, my watch battery was dead, and I was told at other watch repair stores that they couldnt replace it because the back of the watch was an odd shape. I went in to New Orleans Watchmakers and they had my battery replaced as I waited! It took no more than 15 minutes and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend if youre looking for a place to get your watch repaired!

Firstly, Eric the owner, is a master watchmaker and jeweler, not just a watch repair technician! His knowledge and experience is EXTENSIVE! I am an avid watch collector with items from the rare (1914 LeCoultre, 1916 Longines in a FB hermetic case, 1950 Girard Perregaux full calendar) as well as the more common (late model Omega Seamaster). I count on New Orleans Watchmakers for all of my watch maintenance needs. If all you need is a routine maintenance on your Rolex or Breitling chronometer, you need to realize that there is nothing routine about this! An experienced well respected watchmaker is need to fully disassemble and clean each part and the reassemble with any needed original manufacture replacement parts appropriate for that mechanism. This is a n almost lost art and Eric is one of the few artisans remaining. He is more than happy to replace the battery in your quartz watch but is capable of actually making a new balance staff for your great-grandfathers watch to restore a cherished family heirloom. Even when I lived in Houston for 5 years, after many disappointing experiences with master watchmakers there, decided to drive back to New Orleans to someone with whom I have built trust. Now that I am (thankfully) back in NOLA, it is so much easier to drop off and pick up as they are ready. I highly recommend New Orleans Watchmakers.
