Great location being only a few blocks from Frenchman Street and the French Market. We came on our 10 year anniversary, and couldnt have asked for things to work better then they did. The Red Couch Cafe is only a block away, and a good stop for a quick pick me up in the mornings. The home was beautiful, and the room was clean with all the things you could need without taking away from the historical value of a 150 year old home. We loved the stay, and had a blast on the town. Would definitely recommend, and will most likely be back for future trips.

Had an amazing stay! The hot tub was awesome for an early March stay. Loved the location, it was walking distance to everything. Has so many options of restaurants and bars right around the house or you can the a 15 min walk to the French quarter. Loved the contact less entry, super easy. The house is gorgeous. And loved the fact that you cant hear everyone else staying in the house. The bed was very comfortable

This place is total garbage. Booked online and the streets were under construction. There were two construction vehicles parked right in front. The one place we found to park the worker advised we would get towed. No safe parking. The pin to get in didn’t work. The worker was outside and just said use pin from email. Thought she was a guest. After repeated tries and then calling she just says oh I’m by the door come in. When I asked how to cancel she said to go through booking.com and that it was up to them. I set up the cancellation then says declined by the property owner. Worst experience ever. $200 for a trash hotel with a lazy worker that was not helpful.

We had reservation tomorrow memorial day weekend coming from out of town. The owner called us an hour ago the day before arrival telling us she rented our room to a wedding party. We rented our room 4 months ago so basically she got a better price for our room we cant even cancel our flights. I called the owner and said how does someone just cancel the day before what kind a person does this she was very rude when I called the owner said I gave you a list of other places which we called and they were call booked I told her. She would not let me speak talking over me and hung up on me.

Beautiful and peaceful sleep.Nice people. Room 1 has 2 beds and a shower big enough for 4.2 people is okay as well but 4 is more lol. Hot tub around back is great. For it being the french quarter the price is unbelievable. We are definitely coming back! Its sad that covid19 ruined Mardi Gras this year. Next year we make up for it!

Beautiful building and rooms are nice and clean. Only complaint is that the breakfast is terrible. Everything is either overcooked or has no taste at all. The only things edible are the fruit and yogurt, or the waffle you make yourself. This place should seriously consider either fixing their breakfast or just getting rid of it.

I stayed in room 7 and it was very true to the description. The bathroom was a little small (short shower) but nothing unbearable. The house itself is beautiful and Id highly recommend staying in one of the upstairs rooms with access to the balcony. While the house is technically outside the Quarter, it was a very easy/pleasant walk. Plus it takes you by Frenchman Street, which is great for cafes and life music. The continental breakfast was decent, but Id HIGHLY recommend walking down the block to New Orleans Cake Cafe/Bakery for breakfast.

Talk about feeling like you were visiting family you never knew you had! Phillip and David are gracious hosts who think of every detail. The house was inviting, the beds were oh so comfortable and the rooms with their 14ft ceilings and windows that are doors and head out to balconys made you feel like you were back in the 1800s. Staying here was an easy walk to all the action, but also a quite neighborhood retreat with corner coffee shops, and front porch rockers to enjoy the quiet breeze. We never used our car once I parked it with my excellent parallel job. The town is literally open 24 hours a day and almost no site is too far to walk. BRING YOUR WALKING SHOES. Do not bring cute shoes. I will only stay here when I come back. Phillip and Davids excellent knowledge of the area lead us to an amazing experience. Ill say this too, Ive never stayed anywhere the hosts were so available for questions and guidance. Set a new standard in my book.

We rented the whole house for our 40th high school reunion, and were so happy with everything! The house is gorgeous and each room is uniquely decorated. The rooms were super clean and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was helpful and attended to our every need. We were so surprised that the free breakfast served shrimp and grits...a New Orleans favorite. Great location too! Close to food and music clubs in Marigny and Quarter. Definitely 5 stars in every way!

AMAZING place! The Royal Street Courtyard was a great experience. I stayed here about two weeks ago for my 30th bday, my friends & family rented out 2 bedrooms. It was spacious & quiet during our 3 day stay. The breakfast was great. The whole house looks just like the images provided! Definitely 5 stars!

The room was clean when we got there, but the building is pretty rundown. There was broken tiles and tilted floors with nails sticking up. The location is great and the continental breakfast was on point. The one thing that stuck out throughout the stay though was the terrible maid service. We stayed for four days leaving the room for 12+ hours at a time, and not once did the maids come (while the sign was up). Four days, and not a single time did we get bedsheets or towels changed. On the third day I asked if they could come, and they still didn’t follow through with a basic request. The good didn’t outweigh the bad here. If you stay in room 10, I wish you the best of luck.

Great place to lay our heads when we went to New Orleans to visit. The bed and breakfast was near several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel itself was very nice and fit with the New Orleans theme. We had a bedroom with a bathroom inside the room which was nice. The owners were very friendly and did a quick tutorial on nearby places to visit. Philip recommended two places to eat that we went to and they were fantastic! We were able to park infront of the B&b which saved us parking fees. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice b&b near all the entertainment, but far enough away you can sleep at night.

The rooms are large enough to be comfortable in and the bed was very comfortable. This is an old house so some of the doors are blocked off, the wooden floors worn, and some of the bathroom tile cracked. The bathroom was roomy for 2. It was a comfortable stay and away from the main strip so it was very quiet. Parking was free, wwhich was a rarity in NO.

I stayed at Royal St. Courtyard at the end of August for a 40 year class reunion with a group of girlfriends - we had the entire house to ourselves, so we were able to run around in our pjs, sip coffee together all morning while lounging in the Parlor (and/or bloody marys, lol), and get ready together for our evenings out. Management made the booking process so easy, and provided professional drivers at discounted prices. I wished we had utilized the the beautiful courtyard areas and hot tub, but we ran out of time while reminiscing all morning in our pjs. I highly recommend Royal St. Courtyard for large groups wanting privacy as well as gathering options.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY! Walking distance to almost all things. Action is just a short walk away yet if you want to stay in you are in a nice quiet neighborhood where you can just sit out and relax and enjoy the beautiful architecture from their beautiful front porch rocking chairs. Simply a beautiful house, tall ceilings, a/c in all rooms private baths. Phillip & David will make you feel right at home, they gave us detailed tour maps of the city and marked out places we should go. Above and beyond on being a gracious host, they made themselves available to contact if you had any questions at all. Breakfast and coffee houses are just right around the corner. Bring walking shoes & comfy clothing because everything is walking distance we did not use our car once, and while some places are longer walks than others the whole walk to anywhere offers beautiful views of the city and neighborhood houses that will just leave you wishing you could take pieces of it with you. Will definitely stay again when we visit New Orleans!

I would like to give a negative review of this hotel. I booked a trip. They contacted me, told me the owners are renovating the room and we would have to switch rooms from the one reserved. They will not refund our money. NEVER book with this hotel. You will pay for something you did not reserve.

This place is under new ownership. I couldnt even spend one night here. I called a week before my stay to confirm my reservation. I saw a review on Yelp in which a person was mislead and was expected to stay in slave quarters, and I wanted to avoid a similar fate. My email confirmation was for room #10, however there is no room #10 on the Royal St Courtyard website, which is why I called. The lady on the phone promised to email me details the next day, but never did.Only when I checked in did I found out that room #10 (which is labeled 15 by the way) is not part of the historic mansion, but instead is the old servants quarters (we all know what that means). The room is literally only big enough for a single full bed. There is no walking room at all. I can maybe see one person staying here for no more than one night, but certainly not 2 people for several days. Either way, no one should pay to sleep here. This room should not be rented.I immediately asked for a refund. The person who met us at the property (Diana) didnt have the authority to do that. When I asked to speak to the owner, she refused. After she spoke to the owner, she told us that we can maybe get a 50% refund, if anything. My husband and I quickly found somewhere else to stay and left as quickly as we could. The owner ultimately only refunded us just one night (out of 3). Im disgusted at my experience. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I would stay here again in a HEARTBEAT. Phillip and David felt like old friends! They were extremely knowledgable and pointed out the best places to eat, drink and visit while we were in town. We even received a welcome text message with cab info as soon as we got off the plane. The room was clean, the shower was always hot and the bed was extremely comfy. I would recommend The Royal Street Courtyard to anyone visiting New Orleans! Well be back!
