Went to a Town Fair Tire today because the newish tire on my car suddenly went flat after hitting a pothole. Walked in, Dan greeted me right away, walked out to my car pulled the flat from the trunk, brought it in, checked it and within 2 minutes told me it needed a stem. They fixed it within 10 minutes and I was out the door for $7.23 and 20 minutes of my day!Dan and the team are wonderful and I highly recommend them.

I had a flat that couldn’t be repaired, thinking I’d be there for an hour the most I was there for 3 hours just to get one tire out back on my rim. That’s unreal and the whole time the manager Jeff and the other guy up front Brian maybe have been the assistant couldn’t have been any nicer through out the whole process always letting me know how much longer on my car. They even said it themselves that it’s never happened for one tire and were more than willing to work with me as to how long I waited they felt terrible. And even though I had to wait 3 hours overall was great service guys up front really try there best. Thanks again over there for everything.

The people at this shop really try to work with you and genuinely will tell you the truth. I’ve gone here multiple times but my recent experience has been exceptionally phenomenal. My tire burst on the highway and I had to get a new rims and tires. Dan and Jon were amazing and were able to work with me financially and help me get my rims/wheels all situated around my busy work schedule as well as explain things pretty easily. Not to mention the wait time was probably the fastest I’ve ever had at any shop. They didnt keep to my appointment time. Took my car in to change the tires an hour a few minutes late. And there was no air conditioning or fans. Hot as heck in there. The employees were very friendly and professional though

Two moments of great happiness during the pandemic at Town Fair Tire! In November and in April sitting outside in the sun on the south side of the building while snow tires went on and came off. Being out of the house, not working, not dealing with family, it was heaven. Didnt mind the wait & almost wanted it to be longer. Now I associate Town Fair Tire with a warm sunny escape. This place is the BEST!!! Bought some tires at New London location and was then informed by a relative that they might not be the best in snow. Called Town Fair Tire the next day and they 100 percent honored their 30-day test drive policy without hesitation. Put more snow-friendly tires on my car the next afternoon and only charged me the $40 or so difference in the price of the tire. John was helpful in recommending a new tire, getting an appointment set up, and finishing the transaction. Both times I was in and out in less than 2 hours!!! I was amazed. I didn’t think that good companies still existed. Thank you John and the whole New London Town Fair Tire team. Everyone I encountered there was helpful, friendly and efficient. Even the call center guy I first spoke to was sympathetic and friendly. You should all be proud of the services you’re providing to your customers. 100 percent recommend Town Fair Tire!!

Had my 08 C300 fitted with tires and was told one rim had a small crack!!! But no worries, they referred me to OK Rims. This is a gentleman right behind Goodyear tire at 543 Vauxhall street about 30 seconds away. The man took my rim dropped what he was doing and welded it right away. Took about an hour. Price under 100$. And the guys at town fair we’re great.

The staff were very helpful and I got a really good deal on exactly the tires that I needed. Front end alignment is included at no additional cost. I opted for the 4 wheel alignment at a reduced rate. Lifetime tire rotation also included. I paid a little extra for road hazard protection. All in all I got a great deal and I will definitely come back.

This is a mixed review. The staff was great, the service was fast, the price was good too. However the tech that did the work on my vehicle beat the rims up pretty bad. All 4 rims are scratched and or gouged in the same spot. 1 rim actually has a good sized chip in it!

I went to get my tires balanced and rotated and they were so quick! I was in and out in less than an hour and they found a screw in my tire and plugged it up and my tire is doing good. Ralph has great customer service and listened to my concerns and was very informative the whole time. Answered all the questions I had! I couldnt be anymore grateful!

Outstanding job accommodating my need for an alignment and computerized wheel balance on short notice. Friendly, professional service at a more than reasonable cost.

Brought moms car in for new tires. Usually I only do business with the tire Place in Groton near Penske but they weren’t picking up the phone that day so I just wanted to get mom tires so she could relax about it. Town Fair said you should do the alignment along with the tire service. I never had that done nor have I ever had alignment issues after getting tires from the 15 cars I’ve owned in my life. But mom said she wanted the alignment since they recommended it. Mind you her 2010 car never needed an alignment. After the service the alignment starts acting up over the week progressively getting worse. Normally I’d go back and try to get them to fix the problem but I said they screwed me once before back about 8-10 years ago and the front desk literally said their business was never supposed to work on aftermarket rims to begin with and it all came back to why I stopped doing business with them in the past. So nothing has changed and whom ever does the labor in back has created more an issue than prior to both services. So mom brought the car in to the dealership because she lost trust in their services. And over the phone they lure you in just like a salesman. I always ask over the phone is their going to be be any hidden fees and what the final total. Of course when I get there the front desk guy says you should do the alignment. Surprised they didn’t mention that? So 2 experiences for very generic work. Leaky tire they made worse and non alignment issue now pulling to the left. Take from this what you will. Hope it saves somebody. See Tom at that Penske tire shop. I am not a sales rep but I give credit where credit is due.

I’ve always received fantastic service from these folks for the past twenty years. I’ve lost count on how many tires they’ve repaired for me at little to no cost. They continue to go out of their way to instill customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Town Fair Tire has always been my go to place when I need new tires. Their customer service is top notch, and their staff has always been friendly.With today’s experience, Dan was more than helpful in not only helping me get a new set of tires, but getting me in same day.

Ive been a customer for many years and they have always been cooperative and easy to work with. I recommend them to my friends and family as a place that is reliable. Recently I was in for a tire change over and the lugs for the new set werent uniform. They told me that they were going to replace them so there would be no issues with vibration or loosening of the rims. As it turns out the replacement lugs were of no charge. The place is always busy but when they do get the opportunity to help you they really look out for you not only as a customer but as a person.

They said it would take 10 min to repair a flat. (I brought the tire in, so didnt have to unmount/remount from car) after 15 minutes, they said it would be ready in 2. It took them an hour total. They didnt have any other customers the entire hour I was waiting

I got off the highway and stopped at Town Fair Tire. I was greeted by an associate named Ralph. He gave me outstanding customer service. I explained my issue he came outside checked all 4 tires. He explained to me what the issue was and explained what work was going to done. He even showed me the part that was going to be replaced, which honestly he did not have to do that. His demeanor was so pleasant and so helpful. I felt he went above and beyond my expectations. I hate to say this but as a woman when I have gone to get my car service I have felt that the men get treated differently. I would recommend that if you ever at this location you ask for Ralph. Nobody picked up the phone a whole hour before closing time, tires were overpriced and I was only calling to let them know I would be in to pick my tires and rims up, oh and they never called this morning when they said they would to tell me they are ready won’t be coming back

I would recommend this please out of anywhere. I came in for one thing that I thought was wrong with my tire and it turned out not to be I came back the same way and it was fixed and they took very good care of me. Everybody should go to here not Goodyear 😁😁

Had a leaking front tire. The staff was professional, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Had no appointment but waited only a minimal amount of time. Steering wheel protectors and floormats were put in place by the technician. Everyone had face masks on. Issue was minor and the service was complimentary.Had purchased 2 new tires last June (not the leaking one) with an alignment and the service and value was equally as good.

I got two new tires for a very old car today. Brian Jackson was very helpful, explained things thoroughly and I didn’t feel like he was trying to upswell me on products. I’ve used Town Fair Tire many times in through the years with no issues.

Dan was outstanding! Worked with me to get the wheels and tires that were just right for my truck. Customer service there is second to none.

I purchased tires here because they are who Navy Base works with. I attempted to purchase wheels and tires, but the wheels in their catalog were unavailable. After I paid, Town Fair Tire employees refused to mount my tires because I didnt purchase my wheels from them. They told me I should go get a refund because they sell wheels and it is against their policy to mount tires on wheels they didnt sell. I cant imagine how they have any business because 90% of car owners dont buy wheels everytime they need new tires. If I could give them 0 stars I would, they attempted to charge me well over MSRP for the tires but the NEX has a standard price list and matched the MSRP. My recommendation to the Navy Exchange is to get a contract with a different shop so that the Sailors stationed in Groton, CT dont have to deal with petty issues like this.

Fast awesome service as always,even during covid 19. All staff wore masks, service was better than the dealer, car dealer is what im refering to. There was a nail in the tire which the dealer said they thought it was the tire bead. TFT found the tire issue and repaired the tire with confidence. I will always return here for all my tire needs. Recommended and a professionally run shop. Reliable business for me for the past 15-20 years. Never a tire problem and prices are reasonably good. Their call system is good and they don’t try to upsell you on unnecessary high performance tires. Had an issue with the same tire lug on consecutive visits last week and they addressed it professionally by identifying the problem of a cross thread instead of putting it on and also during the replacement installation where the issue was identified between front desk and the technician.

John was very friendly and helpful. I got good quality tires for a good price for our two vehicles. Thank you very much Town Fair Tire and John for your excellent customer service.

I have been a customer for over 10 years, and have always had a good experience. However my most recent experience requires a review because the outcome could have been less then desired. I went in for a low pressure light and left with a new TPMS valve which repeatedly failed. After which I returned multiple times because each fix failed. The manager Dan didnt give up and kept trying different solutions until the issue was completely resolved. I cant thank him and his team enough for being so diligent.

Amazing care was provided to our out-of-town guests. They were traveling and developed a flat tire. They took the car, at 4:30 on a Saturday, directly to town fair tire.The problem was diagnosed quickly, treated expertly, for minimal charge.Great service, would recommend to all.Also, fun to watch the car being fixed on a video camera while waiting in a very comfortable waiting room.
