I went to the store after I had a flat tire and I filled it up, but was nervous about continuing to drive on it. Michael, the staff there, helped me immediately, explained how to fill tires correctly and explained to me some other good info to know about my car and the tires. He checked to see if all my tires were good. Turned out 1 had a nail and 1 had a screw in it. Fixed it all in about an hour and it was free! He explained he would like my business when I need new tires and he will get it! Best customer service I have had in a long time- friendly, helpful, fast, and free! Would definatley recommend this place.

Great Staff & Great Service.Walked in half hour before they closed, just wanted to get some info and check out my options for my 2018 Civic. I needed to replace a flat tire so I could stop putting miles on my spare. Not only did I replace the flat, but the info they brought to my attention after inspecting the other 3 tires, I also replaced the other front tire so there wouldnt be any alignment/tread wear issues. I didnt have an appointment and at that time it was about 20 min till they closed, but that didnt matter. They stayed past closing time and put the 2 new tires on for me. Also with the info they showed me about the 2 remaining tires, I will pretty much for sure to be coming back in about 6,000 miles to replace those as well. Thanks Guys 🤘🏻

I got a flat tire on the way home from work. Went to discount tire and requested some michelin defenders which I have on another car. They were not able to get to it that late in the day and advised to come in at 7;50am the following morning. The tires were installed promptly considering I did not have an appointment. When I left all computer systems would not work the TPMS would not calibrate so I went to Honda. When I got to Honda the service rep told me I had the wrong tires on the car. The tires should have been 94V not 94H this was the reason for the problems. I went back to discount tire and told them the problem and the tires I wanted they didnt make in that style. I picked out another set that were 94V. Different brand. I waited over two and a half hours waiting. I felt that since they sold me the wrong tires they could have took me in sooner. The computer systems all work now. They also tried to tell me that it shouldnt make a difference. Should have told me they were changing the tire specification recommended by manufacturer. I have been buying tires here for a long time on many different cars. This was a first for me. 8am to 245pm.spent getting tires.

Mike the manager is awesome!!! I made an appointment online for my tire inspection. They were packed with customers, phones ringing, people waiting and Mike was the epitome of calm, cool, friendly, and understanding. He took his time with each customer he helped and never made any of us feel like he was too busy. I watched him for nearly an hour and I’m very impressed. Discount Tire should be proud and grateful to have a leader like this running this facility. I can see why they are so busy. I’ve never purchased tires from them but I promise to in the future. They fixed my tire at no charge and every team member I spoke with was kind friendly and very knowledgeable. Kudos to you and your team Mike. You will be seeing me on my next tire purchase!

This place is normally awesome, but on my latest visit I had scheduled to have two tires replaced, and had an appt scheduled. A half hour into the appointment I was informed that they didnt have the tires they supposedly ordered for me, and that I could have a non matching tire installed if I wanted.It makes no sense to install non matching tires when the whole point of getting the new tires was to make it a matching set. So I told them I would wait for the match.It then took them another half hour to put my old tires back on because nobody checked to see if they had my tires new tires they ordered before removing the old ones.I had previously had a tire replaced due to sidewall damage two days ago, and they broke a post off one of my rims.I was offered no compensation for either scenario.Normally this place is awesome, like i said they normally get you right in and out. Pricing is reasonable too. Ive had a lot of issues in my last two visits though.

They were super helpful when I had a very random issue with a tractor tire. They took me as a walk in and were able to help me out in less than 30 minutes. I left with a full functioning tire. I will be back with my vehicles when I need to.

This is the second time my wife has had her tire rotated at the Discount Tire in New Lenox, and both times on her way home a hub cap has fallen off on the drive home. Absolutely horrible. Time to find another shop that doesnt rush through things. Think about it, what if they handle all facets of a tire change the same way!!!Edit: Decided one last chance was due because I have had good luck in the past. Went today 9/14 to inquire about 2 new tires, asked them to check a size in back for me. Nope was quoted a price, nothing explained, I said that seems a little high, anything cheaper? Got looked at like I was a problem, so I left.Edit #2. 10/05/2020 Andre from Discount Tire has contacted me and worked some things out and seemed he genuinely wanted to get things squared away. Very impressed with that and I need to be fair and list the positives as well as the negatives. Thank you for the call Andre!!!

I don’t know why anyone would go to any other place for tires or tire service. The facility is clean and bright. Every associate was pleasant, courteous, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and so helpful - there aren’t enough adjectives to describe this staff. My tire cost was matched which saved me quite a bit of money - and there was a rebate on top of that! The crew started replacing my tires a few minutes before my scheduled time, and they finished sooner than estimated. Every customer who visited while I was there was treated equally as well. It made me feel so confident about being a customer. I’m so happy with this experience from my first phone call to driving away with my new tires. Salesperson Danny was very knowledgeable and helpful. While waiting I changed my mind on the tires I purchased and since my car wasnt in yet he changed my order with no problem. The wait was longer then I expected but not too long.

Tires under warranty so they fixed the nail for free...but also rebuilt my tire sensor for free as well. Unfortunately one of the desk guys didnt understand that you needed to were your mask over nose AND mouth...not just on your chin. Thats why only 4 stars.

Had two high performance tires with nails in the side wall that I bought with warranty. Worker named Danny(heavy set) tried to say they were fixable when they were not according to their standards just to save money and risk my safety . 1/10 shady work. If they wouldn’t have been under warranty they wouldn’t have been repairable.

Had a blowout in Louisville, Kentucky and the staff there replaced 4 tires and had us on the road again in less than a hour! Very courteous.

I buy all my replacement tires from them because of the way they take care of me. They will repair leaking tires at no charge even if I hadnt purchased them at Discount Tire. That saves me about $35 per occurance. They carry many different brands of tires too.

I found this place out of sheer survival when my automobiles tire decided to catch a few nails, I went to go replace it and saw my spare was flat! oh ye gods i thought to myself, looks like it is my duty to get these replaced, seeing as i have a chilis 3 for 10 in my passenger seat (chipotle chicken tenders is the way to go). so I made the treacherous journey over to discount tire where I was greeted by the acclaimed Perry! After the gods have spited me that day he was so kind and understanding that i felt that it would be only right to ask him out on a date to chilis for yet another 3 for 10. He respectfully declined but I still felt compassion in my heart for that hunk of a man. After the grunts in the back inserted the new rubber on my rim,with lube of course to not damage the bead, they shipped me out! What a thrilling adventure! if only this lucky man was able to score the dashing Perry.

Check your tire pressure yourself when you leave? Got tires rotated and glanced a tmy dash: four completely different readings. Had to pull back around and wait for them to finish their job....

I had met with salesman a week ago to decide on tires. mike was very knowledgeable and gave great advice.Tires were installed by staff with great professionalism. The salesperson on the day of install could have provided better info. to the installer.

Needed a tire replaced. Dropped wheel off at 9am Saturday. Salesman (Michael R. K.) ordered tire and said it would be done around 3pm and they would give me a call. No call.....I raced up there 10 minutes before closing. They lost my custom valve stem cap that matches the other 3. Their excuse was, it mustve fallen on the floor and swept up. They offered free cheapo caps. Heres an idea. How about taking some pride in your work. Call the customer like you said you would and NOT lose my valve stem cap. Whats so hard about that? Had I not raced up there in the nick of time. I wouldnt have a car to get to work tomorrow. Complete nincompoops.

I have purchased at least 3 sets of tires from Discount Tire in New Lenox and have been extremely happy every single time, right from the initial consult to the installation to the exceptional service after the sale. Sent son to have a tire flat repaired was told that it was unrepairable and they would put a used tire on as a temporary. Thats where the good service stopped. What takes 5 minutes turned into 2 hours when I called in to the store I was told it would take 4 hours. Their appointments come first. No offer to have it ready for the next day and no updates for the 2 hours while my son waited. They all need a few classes on customer service. I will go to another store for my tires despite being a long time customer.

Discount tire officially lost me as a customer today. I will never buy another tire, rotation, balance or any other service from them nation wide. I based this decision on the fact they refused to rotate my tires. 15 years as a customer and roughly 15-20 sets of tires I have purchased from them for the vehicles I own. Never again discount tire you have lost a good customer.

If the young man on the phone would have stopped talking long enough to find out what I actually wanted vs. telling me what I wanted... we would have done some business. (I finally had to tell him to shut up and listen, to get an word in edgewise wise ....geez lol)

One star only because google doesnt allow you to rate it as a ZERO. Absolutely horrible people to do business with! We ordered a tire on Thursday and was told the tire would be at the shop on Friday. Waited all day for a call and got nothing. Then Saturday comes and we reach out to them, they put us on hold for 20 min like they had no clue what was going on. Then after the wait on hold they get back on the phone just to tell us that the tire is not there yet and they would call us back as soon as the shipment got in. Hours go by and we still here nothing from this horrible business! So we ONCE AGAIN reach out to them just for them to tell us that the shipment did come in and the tire we ordered was not there. They said they would call and look into it and give us a call right back. BIG SURPRISE they did not *once again* reach out to us to let us know what was going on and now they are closed. And with it being the labor day weekend we probably wont get our tire now until Tuesday and that is if they even ordered it to begin with! Would not recommend anyone to this business completely unprofessional. They let you know your ordered product will be there and then it is not. They dont follow up with their customers and are completely incompetent at running the shop apparently. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Fixed my tire leak. Had a nail

I would normally give them 5 stars but it was a trying day there today. First my appointment was magically deleted but they fit me in anyway that was fine but then they couldnt find the rims I ordered which irritated me and on top of that one of them was all messed up and I have to go back tomorrow which could have been avoided if they would have checked the rims when they came in two days ago.

The only place to buy tires in New Lenox. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are always the best around. Ive bought three sets of tires from this location and wouldnt go anywhere else.

What amazing customer service! I went in for the free service of having a flat fix, and honestly expected a sales pitch along with getting rushed out of there. But they were friendly, understanding, and took their time to make sure that the job was done correctly. It wasnt a leak in the tire at all, it was actually corrosion on the rim which cause a tire to leak and they still fixed it! Highly recommend Discount Tire and I can honestly say I wont go anywhere else to buy new tires!
