The employees were extremely nice, informative, and super quick. I must have went in at the right time because I waited all of 4 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out for an emissions test. Highly recommend!!

I had my 2003 Toyota Avalon serviced here so that I could pass emissions. I had great, fast service, and it was so convenient to drop my car off and pick it up already having passed the test! Im so happy that they were able to fix my issues and get me through emissions for a really reasonable price. I dont think Ill ever go back to taking my car to one of the places where you have to wait in a long line to do the emissions test. This was SO much nicer.

Went this morning to get an alignment and oil change got a call 2 hours later saying i had $1,800 worth of damage under my car. Went and got a second opinion an hour ago and they told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with the underneath of my car. Wondering if it was because I’m a young woman..? Would NOT trust this place.!!!

We brought our car here because the car was making a squeaking noise and a thumping sound. The tires were also under warranty. After the shop looked at the car, they told me the tie rod, rear shocks, and all tires needed to be replaced for $1,530. And the tires weren’t covered under the warranty because of the mechanical issues with car. I ended up bringing my car to a reputable car shop and the only thing that need to be replaced was the rear rotors for $500. I will NOT be going back to DeRe.

Excellent service. My 2008 Silverado started making a sweak click clank noise. I called on a Monday morning they were able to get me in that day. They diagnosed my truck within 20 minutes of my arrival. It was a wheel bearing that went bad. They gave me a quote and of course i called around there price was phenominal. I gave the go ahead to get it fixed. Figuring it would take a couple hours I was ready to grab a coffee and wait. But nooo not there, Mike my service writer offered to give me a ride home. Great !!!!! 2 hours later they called and my truck was fixed!!! So guess what Mike picked me up ! Now I have waited more than 2 hours for an oil change at dealers. But they shoufferred me around. The truck is running perfect Now! Great service !!! Local and friendly. I highly recommend De Re. Not just for tires, for customer service and vehicle service. #mypermanentcardoctor

The most honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably placed tire place in the Southwest suburbs.

Came in for an oil change on a friday early morning 8 a.m. and was told your looking at sometime next week, like wednsday I can get you in are you serious? They must Vier away from simple oil changes would be my guess as the shop wasnt busy and oil changes take less than 10-20 minutes.

Steve (counter) and all of the guys at De Re in New Lenox are outstanding at what they do. Their service and genuine caring and friendliness are second to none. No one else touches my car. They are the main reason and have been instrumental in keeping my 2003 Grand Am on the road with minimal repairs for over 260,000 miles. YES AN AMERICAN MADE PONTIAC GRAND AM!! Wonderful service! After being stranded on i-80 with a flat in an area that was too dangerous to attempt to change, we were towed here. Not only were they able to squeeze us in, but they were able to repair the tire and send us on our way quickly! We will most surely be back for our car care needs in the future!

Super-friendly staff. After moving back here 10 years ago, I went to a handful of repair shops before I found De Re. I feel theyre one of the best in New Lenox and have recommended people to go there for years; havent heard ANY negative things about them from friends and family. Even after I bought a German car and was making use of the warranty from the dealer, years later, I returned to purchase a tire. Bulent still remembered me and treated me well. Its nice to have a reminder that business can be mixed with friendliness and trustworthiness goes a long way, especially in an industry like vehicle repair.

I had my son take his car to De Re Tire and Auto in New Lenox to get an oil change and to have the car inspected in anticipation of a long road trip. The inspection was to include a coolant pressure test. They told us that the radiator was leaking at the drain valve so the radiator needed to be replaced, and that the hoses were original and should be replaced also. Total estimate, $1000. I contacted a car dealer maintenance shop for his brand of vehicle to ask about the leak at the drain valve. They said if it was leaking, it was probably an O-ring on the drain valve. This part is a few dollars. It is also made so it can be easily be pulled out and checked/replaced. I asked the manager at the De Re in New Lenox why he didnt check the O-ring before saying we needed a new radiator. His reply was that if he checked it and it broke, then I would expect him to cover the replacement of the radiator. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we took the car over to Superior Auto in New Lenox to get another opinion. The mechanic there did a pressure test and found NO leaks on the coolant system. He checked the radiator hoses and said they were fine and didnt need to be replaced. He even pulled out the drain valve on the radiator to check the O-ring and said it was also fine. What he did say was that the transmission fluid was low enough that it didnt show up on the dipstick. De Re tried to sell my son a $1000 repair he didnt need, and missed the transmission fluid level being low, which should have been caught on the inspection. My son made his 1300 mile road trip without any mechanical issues with the car.
