Went to this store on 7/6/2021 and was catered to by an associate named Maverick. He graciously walked me through all of the ipads and gave the greatest options for my 2 and 5 year old children. His customer service was phenomenal. Please put this man in management if he is already not. I will definitely ask for him again for more purchases. My experience was so easy and care free. My phone died and I was high-key panicking. I couldnt set up an appointment online so I showed up first thing on a Sunday. They got me in right away, listened to my problems, and hooked me up with a new phone and talked me through the setup so I walked out of there with a fully functioning phone. Everyone was very personable, friendly, and understanding. Had an amazing experience and would highly recommend!

Misrepresented their insurance product, apple care, as auto renewing. It does not auto renew. It ended only months before I needed it. No notification was given, nor did they try to help an alternative solution. They were kind and apologetic, but not helpful and left me without any solution or even an alternative solution. Representatives are on your luck some are good, some are not. Most importantly the security person is the best. They need a raise very polite and possess better hospitality than some of the representatives. The store is clean with good ambience but dont always carry the apple product you need. Overall its good not excellent.

I found the customer service and management of the store incredibly poor. I knew exactly what I needed to purchase and was told I had to wait 45 minutes. I told the β€œcustomer service rep” that I don’t need a sales person, I know exactly what I’d like to order and pay. He said β€œyeah, it’s still going to be 45 minutes.” I questioned why I need to wait 45 minutes before giving them $2000. I was told β€œsorry nothing I can do. Do you want the appointment? I walked out and heard a sarcastic β€œhave a good day”.Why aren’t there more people to help? It seems to be a no brainer that with the school year starting and Yale students arriving to campus the store’s management team would be more proactive concerning scheduling during the busy times.

The greeter sent me to the wrong place. Even though I had an appointment, I waited an extra 30 minutes for help. Then, when I bought a new ipad, the salesperson failed to advise me the keyboard was not included! Even though I asked if the new one would be backlit! Very nice and clean store. Unfortunately, the way they manage appointments in the store is horrendous. I have travelled to multiple apple stores and all their appointments were seen and assisted within 30 minutes. I was waiting for assistance within this apple store for over 45 minutes even when appointment was made beforehand. By the time I was out of the store, I was in there for over 90 minutes. They really need to manage their appointment and schedules better. If their schedules cant make it within 10 minutes of each other, I think they should cut down their appointment times to 20-30 minutes per session. Or find a way to manage their schedules better.My phone Xs was considered out of warranty and had Touch display issue. I end up upgrading that same day, but turns out that it was a iPhone Xs recall issue later that year. This couldve saved myself from spending another bulk of $$$ on a new phone.

I always have a bad experience with the apple store, but i’ve gone two days in a row to pick up a phone i purchased, and came home empty-handed every time. The manager is never available. I even showed up early to one of my appointments and the rude employee told me i had to wait out in the rain until i got an email. Disgusting. I will never go back to this store unless it is to get the phone i’ve already paid for that they’re withholding from me. Worst service of all time. I wish i could give less stars. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Very unprofessional service and horrible product at this location of apple. I purchased a brand new MacBook Air in January of 2020, I had to bring it back within a month due to it not being able to start. They repaired it for free saying that it was insured, when I received it back there was a small crack in the corner of my screen. I called to let them know and they told me it would cost me $400 to get the screen fixed. I now am spending 1600 on a computer which I have not been able to use for my school. Worse mistake ever. The supervisor was absolutely rude. I tried to take my product to Bestbuy but they told me to go through apple because its the same company that repairs it and they change an addition cost for going through their repair shop. If I went to best buy it would cost me half of the purchase of the product to fix a screen crack. Absolutely not satisfied.

From customer support over the phone to visiting the store was a great experience! They helped me every step of the way on my first apple product purchase and there are no words for the level of customer service I received. The store is and has always been very neat, clean and organized. They have everything set up for social distancing, offer masks if you need one, temp checks, hand sanitizer, and frequent store cleaning. I felt very safe and comfy there and the vibes were good. I wanted to switch out the color of my phone and the process was a breeze. I got my phone, had some laughs with the staff and air high fived on my departure. Super awesome staff and knowledgeable. I will be returning on to this location to purchase an iPad for my son and was given some recommendations from the specialist who helped me and his recommendations would actually save me money. Went there today as I recently purchased an iPad and needed some tech support. Even though the store was predominantly empty with about 6 reps standing around, they made me wait outside as they now have a new policy where you have to have an appointment ahead of time.They gave me the number to call, however, after waiting 15 minutes in the cold with still no response, I hung up and tried the other options.the other portions said to simply β€œcall in and make an appointment.”At this point, I have now wasted an hour of time, still with no progress.So on the phone again.After being on hold for 20 minutes, I finally get through to someone. Hurray! I’m so happy! But then, He puts me on long holds to pull up the calendar. Then, the line goes dead. I call back again, on hold for another 20 minutes. I now get a hold of a 2nd rep. Her name was Chantelle and was very kind. She set the appointment. However, at this point it is now, too little to late.Total time to get an appointment for simple service - 90 minutes. 1 1/2 hours. Completely unacceptable.

First, went online and scheduled an appointment to have my iPhone SE battery replaced.The closest store was a Best Buy so that’s where I chose to go.When I arrived for mg appointment the tech informed me that Best Buy didn’t replace SE battery even though I had scheduled it through the Apple store online.Next, I scheduled an appointment at the Apple Store in New Haven.When I arrived for my appointment the β€œgenius” informed me that it would take 3 hours to get my replacement battery.In both cases I had driven over 30 minutes to each location.It would have been nice if someone gad updated the web site to let their Apple customers know that Best Buy didn’t have the SE batteries.Moreover, it would have been even nicer if the Apple store site would give an estimate of the repair time. Why even bother to have an appointment if you have to wait 3 hours.Needless to say I wasted 2 afternoons and still don’t have a replacement battery.Very disappointed. I did a contact less order July 06 and even paid extra to get the ipad delivered within the day.The iPad is defective!1. The power sometimes does not turn on immediately (as it should). Ive had a variety of iPads for at least several years, this is NOT a normal thing.2. I have rotation locked, but the thing tilts the apps in view even if theyre supposed to stay in the vertical locked set.I am waiting for what theyll do and expect this to be replaced asap.I did not want to be a victim and told everything ok then having to it get worse 12m+ and me being charged to repair an expensive defective brand new product or gave to throw this and be forced to purchase again.I am very disappointed!UPDATE AUGUST 2020I had to go to the store. We Called a day in advance just to make sure if an apointment was required, they said no to just come in. The next day Drove about 30 minutes to Apple New Haven to purchase my daughter a computer. There was no line to get in but a tent outside with a few employees, and a few employees at the door. As we approached to go inside with our mask on, a lady employee from the tent approached us in a very rude way.these were her exact words woah woah whats going on? what is the problem? I was very confused, my daughter told her we were there to make a purchase, and she said well the next available appointment isnt until 1:45pm (it was about noon) She didnt even ask for our information and, we just decided to leave, to try to came back. But we didnt. It was the first time we ever went to Apple, and it was disappointing to us to receive such bad customer service. I have been to exactly 3 Apple stores in my life. I live in New Haven where the Apple store is very busy what with all the Yale people browsing and shopping. The sales people seem to have an attitude that you are privileged to have them spend their time with you rather than the other way around. The Apple Store in Clayton, Missouri, on the other hand, is a delight by comparison with personable and knowledgeable staff.What is prompting this review is the following: I am a slowish typist and I have been using Dragon on my PC for years. I recently bought a MacBook Air and Dragon for Mac and went to the New Haven Apple store to look for a high quality wireless dictation headset. There were exactly zero dictation headsets in the store and none of the three sales staff I spoke with had any knowledge of this topic. Two of them recommended that I go to Staples.It seems to me that a lot of people prefer to dictate rather than type their documents and that Apple should cater to them. Its not just a matter of convenience, its a matter of productivity. I can dictate a much better medical note (Im a physician) than a typed one. Is anybody listening?

I would like to say that Ilene and the staff at the New Haven Apple store are second to none! I brought in my MacBook Pro in to get the screen replaced and thought it take about 10 business days. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me 2-3 days!To my amazement about an hour later I got an email saying that it was all done and I could come pick it up! I was greeted by a very friendly rep, Walter, who asked another rep to give me an appointment. He put me in and I was directed to sit at the Genius Bar. Then I waited, and waited and waited. I finally flagged someone down who said I was just assigned a tech and pointed to a girl. When I asked her she said no she wasnt. In fact no one was, my name was just there. I watched 2 other people sit and be served before me. Miss Keekee took me anyway and was extremely accommodating. Overall, my first experience is lousy. I always thought that going to the Apple Store would be an expensive experience and that I would end up coming out of there empty handed or paying top price. I WAS WRONG! I had the best experience with both the staff and with the service and price! I am a loyal customer to Apple products regardless of the prices and although I try to get the best price I tried Walmart first, then Verizon and BestBuy. Apple Store they set the bar, very great customer service with Alexis and then with Mr.Ortiz because I cant remember his first name. The store was packed and I was thinking I would be in there for hours. Not at all. The people were so friendly and patient with all my silly questions about this and that. I must have asked about 20 questions to be satisfied and all the employees were friendly. I purchased the iPhone 11 with the price I could afford and the sales was not high pressured or did it leave a bad tase in my mouth. I felt like I belonged there and that I made the right choice in going straight to the Big Boys! I will certainly return in the future and recommend this store to anyone wanting any Apple products. My family and I will continue to shop Apple products and we were in and out of there in about an hour. Mr. Ortiz helped us transfer and set up our new phone with out any headaches or extra charges and the atmosphere was nice. Cool store in the center of a college town. I have been the New Haven Apple Store several times over the past few months and have gotten NONE my issue resolved with the IPHONE XMAX.I purchased a Brand New Phone and it has been turning off on its own, dropping my calls, the screen works when it wants to etc.My latest issue is the β€œWater Resistant” lie. My MacBook Pro would no longer turn on but Johanna and another gentleman (cant remember his name) helped me back up the data on my Mac, and resolve the issue on my Mac at no cost.
