The leasing manager, Marilyn Guest, is very friendly and knowledgeable. She puts your safety and need at priority during pandemic. Very detail tour of property. The environment is sunny, clean, quit, safe and has many relaxing areas. The apartment is under well managed. The price is relative reasonable at heart of city. Great security and door services.

After being a resident in the building for just over three years, I can finally say this building has great management! The turnover of the managers here has been non-stop until recently. While the last manager wasnt very knowledgeable, Laura was huge 180 and has been the most helpful and attentive manager since Ive lived here. Laura, along with Stephanie are a great duo for this building. Stephanie hasnt been here that long but she is super friendly and is always welcoming when I come back in the building. She also always has an answer to my questions! In terms of my apartment, I think the pricing is fair and competitive for the area. I live in a one bedroom and I have been living comfortably. Nothing really has gone wrong with my apartment, just minor fixes here and there. The maintenance guy, Lou, is always quick to respond and very nice to talk too. I use the amenities all the time, the gym is great and usually isnt very crowded. They also have programs every so often like Yoga. The community room is nice to host a party or watch a football game if you dont want to do that in your apartment. Overall, College and Crown is a great complex that I would recommend to anyone.

Well located luxury apartments in the heart of the restaurant area in downtown New Haven. The common areas are always clean, have a well kept gym and amenities, the building and garage are secure, and the staff is incredible. Laura, Stephanie and Lou have been amazing during my stay. I initially had some complaints with noise coming from the roof, but this was quickly evaluated and worked on by everyone, and came to a quick solution. Other than that I’ve been very happy here: they’ve taken COVID precautions seriously, are extremely responsive to any questions or concerns, and I love my apartment -compared to other luxury buildings, you’ll have a bigger (and better layout) apartment for the price you pay, as well as a more central location; which was more important to me than let’s say a pool. College and crown is an excellent place to live if you want luxury living and being close to Yale Hospital and the restaurant/night life scene in New Haven.

I love living at College and Crown. The dog walk is the best amenity, my pup Edward loves it. I love how close it is to City Center, and the fact that they have on-site parking is such a plus.

I moved into the building with my family right before COVID started last March and I couldnt be happier. First, they have taken all the precautions in the building that make my family and I feel safe. Second, the staff has been nothing but helpful since weve moved in and they are very friendly to my family and I. They go that extra step of making it feel like home that we didnt get in our previous complex. I work down the street so this is a great location for anyone that works in the area. While there are college aged kids in the building, Ive never had a problem with noise. The building is well maintained and the maintenance staff is extremely responsive. We love it here! Definitely one of the better apartment buildings in the area.

I love College & Crown! Its in the perfect location, feels very safe, and everything is so convenient. Not to mention, the management (love Stephanie!) and maintenance is so amazing and responsive. The amenities, especially the in-unit W/D and trash/recycle disposals on every floor, are great and rare to find in New Haven. College & Crown really does have everything at a good price!

I have had such a wonderful experience with College and Crown that I can’t help but share with anyone who will listen. Not only are these apartments GORGEOUS, the whole building is such a treasure. The gym is so convenient and up to date, the courtyard is relaxing and inviting, and they are so accommodating with pets (which is super important to me as my dog goes everywhere with me). The staff is so amazing and warm, especially Stephanie who has been so helpful and sweet. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay, I highly suggest you check out College and Crown.

Easy move in process. Month here has been fantastic without any issues so far. Can’t hear neighbors through walls. Extremely close to the Yale New Haven Hospital, walkable distance. Studio apartment is extremely spacious with competitive pricing. Overall great community!

I stopped by for a tour and was extremely impressed with the building and the professionalism of Stephanie and Laura. The space is cleaned everyday and I noticed residents and staff were wearing their masks. I love the fitness center and pet-friendly space!

I cannot say enough good things about this place, it is head and shoulders above all other New Haven apartments. (Believe me, I toured 9). Its very hard to find a building that combines a convenient location, comfortable amenities, excellent landlords, and reasonable pricing, but this place has done it - and its the only one Ive found that does. Peter, Laura, and Lou are standouts on the buildings team. This place really goes above and beyond.

Great, upscale living space. Some key features are location (central New Haven seconds away from your favorite restaurants), professional community, responsive and super helpful building managers, and the outdoor courtyard with fire pits. Just a few small things to nitpick that aren’t necessarily C+C’s doing; the garage is expensive, the garage gate occasionally does not work (a bit upsetting considering the aforementioned high parking costs), and lack of a pool. But otherwise, I’m super happy to live here and would highly recommend for those looking for an unbeatable location, quiet living quarters, and a great residential community.

I give College and Crown apartments the highest rating possible. I come frequently to visit my son who lives here. It is very secure, clean, and has great amenities like the community room. It is in an excellent location. The staff I have met are extremely personable. Laura, who is the community manager, and Anthony, the concierge, are great professionals who become like family in their willingness to help tenants. Lou, the maintenance director, is very knowledgeable and keeps the place looking great. This is an outstanding apartment complex.

College and Crown is great! The location is prime because it is in the middle of downtown, close to everything. The greatest part about the apartment is the management though. My roommate and I had a change in our living situation, which made living in our previous apartment difficult. However, the management has been super helpful in accommodating to our needs. Laura is especially helpful and will answer any questions that I have about the apartment. They also take care of our maintenance requests super fast. I highly recommend living here!

My wife an I have been living at College and Crown since March 2016, and have largely had a wonderful experience. For two physicians working at YNHH who enjoy living downtown, the location is probably the best in the entire city- 7 minute walk (apt door to hospital lobby) with probably the best collection of restaurants in New Haven. The building has relatively large rooms (for the upscale apts), solid amenities, and a fantastic staff. Lou, with maintenance, has been awesome about swiftly and creatively responding to any concern weve had, and has been here since we moved in. While the building managers have shuffled a bit, our current manager- Laura- has been kind, thoughtful, and flexible whenever any question has arisen. Overall, a terrific living experience that we would highly recommend.

College and Crown is a very nice building in a fantastic location. It is so easy to walk anywhere in downtown New Haven, and there are myriad restaurant and bar options within steps of the front door. Also close by are theaters, galleries, museums and shops, and many of the open lectures, events and activities at Yale are just around the corner. It is also very convenient to two major highways, just two blocks from the garage exit to the entrance ramps. The apartments are less than five years old and are well appointed with high-end appliances and finishes. Finally, the maintenance staff is excellent and quickly and competently address any facility issues that may arise. This is a great place to live!

I am a young college student, and I have been incredibly impressed with the complex and the management team. The community manager, Peter Marinelli, has been especially helpful and is always quick to resolve any issues. Also, Anthony and Brandon at the front desk are nothing short of amazing.

I have lived at this property more than a year. Positives include an excellent location convenient for hospital workers, prompt maintenance help, and a nice courtyard.

This is a terrible building with even worse management. I lived here for 4 years and wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. The building itself is poorly constructed with very thin walls floors/ceilings. The management was either absent or not helpful, and the front desk concierge was never helpful either and usually the front desk is not staffed. There is many better options in New Haven and I would recommend looking elsewhere.

College and Crown is a beautiful apartment building with lovely staff in a lively area of downtown New Haven.The building is new and safe, well maintained, and has a conveniently connected parking garage and two quiet courtyards where some residents do BBQ and some free fitness classes are offered.The office staff is super friendly and helpful. For example, a utility company recently sent me wrong bills mixing up different apartments and periods. The community manager, Peter, took care of the situation within a day!The neighborhood has lots of nice restaurants around. Shubert Theater and College Street Music Hall, two popular performing arts venues, are just one block away. Yale old campus and medical campus are both within 5-10 min walks.Overall, a wonderful place to live for study or work in New Haven!

I have lived in New Haven for over a decade while training in medicine and research. Of all the places I have lived in New Haven, this has been the best by far. The management team, particularly the maintenance staff, go way above and beyond. When my wife and I came back from the hospital with our newborn daughter, we were greeted by the building manager with a set of clothes for her. Recently when our kitchen needed an expensive repair, the building moved quickly to get it done and did everything that they could to minimize the disruption to us. I highly recommend living here.

Really pleasant move-in process. Pete the property manager let us control the elevator for a few hours and helped us get set up. Convenient location and really nice apartments. Great place to live and study in New Haven.

Very quiet place for right in the middle of downtown New Haven, great spot to live

They rent retail space to a cafe which doesnt let you in if youre not a college student.Its one thing to charge high rents for those who can afford them.Its another thing to refuse to sell a cup of coffee to someone who cant afford to go to college.If this realtor had the faintest sense of fairness or social justice, theyd boot that cafe.Meanwhile, if you want to rent a luxury apartment, show these folks what you think of them by spending your money elsewhere.

I love the management. The property manager Mirjana is the best. She is the best property manager I ever saw. She is very helpful and always ready to go an extra mile to help. If I will ever need to lease a property and she is the manager there, I can sign off the lease with no second thought.

I moved into College and Crown about 1 month ago and have been overwhelmingly impressed! My move-in process was seamless and included a reserved elevator, a warm welcome from everyone on staff, and frequent check-ins in the several days following my move. Everyone I have encountered has gone ABOVE and beyond to ensure that my adjustment to life at College and Crown has been flawless. This has included installing small items around my apartment, helping to take out boxes/trash, setting aside packages on carts so I dont get stuck making multiple trips, reserving a parking spot so I can quickly transition belongings, and helping to physically carrying clothes (on hangers, no less!) into my apartment. Among everyone, I am immensely grateful for our community manager, Peter, whose detail oriented nature definitely saved me from some near mishaps during the move-in process. Cant recommend this building enough! Thrilled with my choice.

Ive been living here for almost two years and this place is fantastic.

THEY STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOUR ARE YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCE-- My daughter was there for the summer and moved out 3 months ago. She had an internship close by. She has sent 12 emails to Peter Marinelli -Community Manager asking for her deposit money back and he always has a lame excuse. We are putting a complaint with the Connecticut Department of Banking Government Relations and Consumer Affairs might even have to get a lawyer to go to small claim court. They figured she can get screwed since is out of state, young and inexperienced.

Staff is always so helpful! Great building and neighbors within the building.

Management continues to give false dates about when everything in the building will be finished. Theyre alarmingly unconcerned about how unsafe the building has been, as they they dont guarantee anyones safety.
