I had a wonderful experience living at 84 Howe Street in a studio apartment. CA White was easy to work with and made my three years in my apartment comfortable. There was also good communication anytime there was a something coming up in the building like maintenance or an exterminator coming around for routine check ups. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to others!

I stayed here for 4 years, and I have no regrets. The staff are super friendly and will always help you out. I had a studio on the fourth floor with lots of sunlight in the morning, I really loved it. I only left because I had to go to a different state for work reasons.. I wouldve stayed if I had the choice. Also, if I ever come back to live in New Haven, this place will be my first choice!

I spent two years living in a C.A. White apartment; the experience was fantastic. Management is responsive and proactive about building and unit issues. Maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly and professionally. If an appliance isnt working, they will buy a new one. Many New Haven landlords are infamous for their lackluster service. C.A. White is a sterling alternative. Corrine and Sandi—the agents for my building (the CenterPointe)—were a joy to work with.

I have lived in the Campus View apartments for almost four years now -- it has been an incredible living experience. The C.A. White team is responsive and helpful -- especially Linda Libertino. She has always been very attentive and kind. The apartment is in an ideal location being so close to downtown New Haven. I thoroughly (still) enjoy living here!

I have a studio apartment at the CenterPointe and it’s wonderful! The building is kept extremely clean and well maintained. The staff that works in the building are absolutely lovely and so helpful. For a studio apartment it is so spacious and bright. The apartment building is very quiet and in a great location. I always feel very safe in my apartment and have never had any trouble with mail either. There’s a wonderful market around the corner and great restaurants/stores nearby. I have really enjoyed my time here so far and look forward to spending even more.There are so many great things about the CenterPointe and I especially love my big skylight inside of the apartment!

I have lived at Campus View apartments for just over 16 years having moved to the building in July 2004. Among the tenants are many Yale graduate students who make friendly and quiet neighbors.The maintenance staff are great. Whenever Ive had a problem such as a window that wont stay open or a toilet that needed maintenance the staff responds to the problem very quickly.The location is great within walking distance of pizza and other types of restaurants, Stop and Shop, Walgreens and banking services. Having the major utilities heat, hot water, gas and electric included in the rent saves a lot of time.Finally, the office staff Sandi, Linda and Corrine have always been cheerful and helpful couldnt ask for better. I would recommend C.A. White and their rental properties to anyone.

I wouldnt normally leave a review for a building manager, but my experience with CA White was incredible. There were no surprises, no gimmicks, and the interactions with the building management were great. FYI, I lived in the 109 Church St building. I highly recommend working with them!I was looking for a short-term lease (3 months) in New Haven this past summer. Most places didnt offer ST leases or had a very high surcharges for them. I emailed CA White, and one of their agents called me about an open room at 109 Church St. The room was big and competitively priced with 12 month leases for similar 1 bed apartments.The building manager was very nice and helpful. When signing the lease agreement, she went through every page with me and made sure I understood what I was signing. Signing a short-term lease so quickly, my biggest fear was that I would be somehow screwed over. That was not the case at all. The manager was also always very responsive whenever I emailed any questions.When I first arrived to move in, there was a bag of brownies and other treats from a local bakery waiting for me. Even as I moved out (around Thanksgiving), I saw the manager put a sheet out for people to write their favorite cookies that she would bake for them. Ive honestly never interacted with such nice people before. The manager really cares about the tenants.A couple other notes:-Internet was included in the rent price and fast (I was doing classes on Zoom)-All packages are securely stored in a locked room in the basement-The building is safe. You have to go through 2 doors. One is locked at all times. The other is locked during the nights and weekends.-My unit included washer/dryer/dishwasher which all worked w/o any issues

Ive been a resident at C.A. Whites CenterPointe for a little over two years now. The apartments are spacious, light filled and well maintained by a tremendously dedicated staff. Should an issue arise within any of the units, they are quickly addressed. We were so pleased with our first apartment with them, that a few months ago we opted to move into another, larger unit with outdoor space. We didnt dream of looking anywhere beyond our front door! Special commendation should be given for their handling of the COVID-19 global pandemic. C.A. White has taken extra precautions, increased cleaning in all common spaces such as the lobby, the gym, etc... They have diligently posted signs indicating safe social distancing, enforced a well researched policy regarding elevator use and have been beyond communicative should their be any exposure amongst the staff. We love living here and plan to do just that!

Management is wonderful! They made my move to CT - literally in the middle of COVID - seamless and easy. Absolutely love my apartment.

I lived in the Centerpointe Apartment (109 Church St.) for one year, and its really a comfortable apartment. The pricing is affordable, and the apartment managers are kind and helpful.

The leasing staff are responsive and accommodating. Maintenance requests are responded to promptly, usually by the next day. Warmly recommended!

I lived at 84 Howe st for two years during my time at Yale. The location is fabulous, just across the street from the Yale university security. Lots of restaurants along the street making it safer as there are people around generally. The management was very proactive about maintenance requests. I had requests taken care of at odd hours as well. The management, especially Linda is very courteous. I would highly recommend 84 Howe st. for students who are looking for a comfortable, no frills stay.

During my time at Yale, I lived at the Traymore (120 Dwight Street) for two years in two different units, and I had a great experience living there. The management (especially Linda, who I communicated with most often) was wonderful to deal with, and prompt in handling any issues that came up. The units are well-managed and spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors. I rarely had maintenance issues, but when I did, they were handled quickly. Its also perfectly located on a quiet street that is a close walk to Yales campus (and there are several great restaurants and bars just a block or two away). I would highly recommend the Traymore!

Lived here for about 2 years and have loved my experience. The property managers are very attentive to maintenance requests and the location is fantastic. I found myself being able to take advantage of a lot more of what new haven has to offer because all the restaurants and museums are less than a 10min walk away. Great value and amenities, enough to make you feel comfortable but not so ridiculous that you feel you’re paying for things you never use. Highly recommend

I lived here for about 5 years in a nice apartment on the 2nd floor. It had high ceilings and loft - it was quite nice, in a great location, and overall was very good value. Corinne and the staff were great - completely on top of things and always helpful. I enjoyed chatting with Corinne every time I went down to pick up a package. I moved out only because it was time to get a house.

I interacted with CA White as a tenant in their Campus View property on Howe street and lived there for over six years. In all the time I spent there, they were always happy to help me when I needed it. I cant say enough about Linda, who handled my lease from the first call (when I had my mom inquire about availability since I was working insane hours before moving to the area) through the understanding way she didnt hold it against me when I had to move out on a moments notice when I got a job in California this past fall. The apartments are appropriate given the price, and theyre happy to repaint or replace equipment when the time comes. My only negative encounter in the entirety of my time there came when I had to interact with Lindas business partner, Sandi, so Id watch out for her. Other than that, Ill always have a fond place in my memory for my apartment in Campus View.

Very happy with my time at Centerpointe in New Haven. Responsive and friendly staff, safe and clean environment. Pets welcomed with a reasonable deposit, which relieved my greatest stress during the apartment hunt. Maintenance issues dealt with promptly (including an emergency appliance repair on Thanksgiving!) and proactive preventative maintenance performed regularly. In particular, Julio with maintenance and Corrine in the leasing office made life at Centerpointe comfortable and high value. Great spot for medical residents/hospital staff at YNHH.

The management at CenterPointe is great, as is the superintendent, Julio. Everyone is very professional. The apartments themselves are nice and in good shape. However, a couple of issues really detracted from my quality of life while in the building. In the first unit I moved into, which faced the street/New Haven Green, it was *extremely* loud. I couldnt sleep or even do work in the apartment. The management was great about letting me move into a different unit with the same rent, and this unit was much quieter (facing away from the street, without a view). The issue with this unit was that the bedroom windows were so enormous that no blinds could block the light from them. It was very bright even at night-- hard to sleep-- and in the mornings, the light woke me up very early. One last thing to consider is that, since I believe this was formerly an office building (with thin walls), monthly heating and cooling costs were quite high. Because of these issues, I wouldnt live at CenterPointe again. However, I really do appreciate the management and staff.

I lived at CenterPointe for 3 years and enjoyed my stay greatly. I miss the high ceilings, the loft and the beautiful skylight. The management and staff was always super helpful. I would have liked faster internet though..

I enjoy living in Mayfair Court because it is beautiful. The three-story brick building, which borders a welcoming courtyard, has an architectural integrity reminiscent of Yale’s older buildings. Out my four south-facing windows, I have a view of the building’s elegant slate roof, recently snow covered. Inside, the rooms are well proportioned, with high ceilings, hardwood floors and interior French doors. Visitors exclaim, “What a lovely space!” The people who maintain this building are competent and reliable. They have earned my confidence and respect. I feel lucky to be an easy walk walk or bus ride from downtown to the east and Westville to the west. Edgewood Park is nearby.

Mayfair Court has been a beautiful place to live since I moved here a few years ago. The outside is gorgeous, is conveniently located next to Walgreens, has timely trash pickup, and has a security guard on site. Also what is nice is that Elm Street is Whalleys emergency route, so it always gets plowed. On the inside: nice hardwood floors, high ceilings, and the heat always works.CA White surpasses other apartment companies that Ive used. My contact at CA White, Linda L., has always gone above and beyond to make my experience a good one. The on-site super is always there when you need him too. Lastly, CA White always picks up their phone and emails me back within 24 hours. I really recommend CA White if you want to live in New Haven.

I loved communicating with Linda & the management in moving into Campus View. They are prompt with maintenance and upkeep- rent is very very competitive. Ive never had any security issues around the area, especially because on the other opposite side of the street in the parking garage building, the Yale Security is housed; there is always a Yale Security guard strolling around the area.

I loved living in Traymore´s apartments. All the staff are great and helpful. C.A White provides a great attention in everything you need. They made my stay in USA so easy and I am very thankfull to everyone, specially Linda Libertino. She´s a wonderful profesional and woman, and I certainly would choose CA white again.

This is the worst place to live. They never get back to you and have horrible communication with tenants. They never get back to you and are always out of the office. They also told me they dont really talk on the phone. It is not safe either I have been approached many times by people trying to sell me things. In addition, I had to call the cops because a man was following me outside. Yes, they have a security guard, but I do not know how great it is since my car window got smashed and I didnt even have anything in the car. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else so you dont have to deal with the headache.

They dont communicate well with tenants. When concerns were raised and I asked to speak with the next level in management I was told that they were too busy and abruptly hung up upon.
