Friendly staff but parking lot needed tending. It was an ice covered mess. The actual place was nice and staff was courteous.

My tax rep was amazing . And very kind, also on top of any question or concern. I will be using her every year and sending people to her.

Originally called Elwood H&R Block had to transfer to New Castle Pa Office at first.. I spoke with a Lady Kathy there yesterday, trying to get ahold of the original Lady Patricia who transferred there from Elwood that did my last year Taxes but she wasnt in the Office that day Unfortunately.. So I ask to get info about were my Stimulus.. she put me on hold for 15 minutes an was on my Lunch break at work that I barely had tranfering back an forth Offices.. So I thought a bit strange it was taking so long tried patiently waiting then hung up.. So I called back an same Lady answered.. an I told her I was the same person that she put on hold an asked her what happened.. an so she says with attitude what can I help you with? An so I said well I told you I needed help finding out information in my Profile there.. an uh I thought that was what you was doing when you put me on hold. Then I asked her what was she doing when I was on hold all that time.. An she says to me I was doing more important things?? An I say wow... that is so messed up. Then she says she doesnt have the information at the office to look it up ; have to look up on IRS website.. Then I told her well I wish you would have told me that originally.. an ok... that is all Goodbye. 😑

I had a NEW preparer do my tax paperwork. They DID NOT include my Mortgage Interest. The Manager reviewed my tax paperwork with me and found that omission. The new preparer had also put my Health Savings Account (HSA) deductions in the WRONG section which resulted in me owing the IRS MORE than what I actually owe. The Manager fixed that AFTER I caught the error.

Very pleasant preparer and I had absolutely no problem with the service that I received. However, to have to pay over twice the amount I paid last year when you have 90% of my information already in your system is crazy. I will not be back again and Im making sure that I inform everyone I know of H & Rs pricing.

We enjoy having an experienced accountant who is efficient and thorough. We were done in probably 20 minutes and she answered every question we had, especially with changes that went into effect for this filing year. We hope she is still with your company next year, we already have our appointment set up!
