They did an excellent job repairing my chimney three years ago, correcting a problem from a previous repair. Had a potential new problem, but they came out, inspected it and gave it an OK, no charge.

We had a very old, damaged chimney repaired and a new wood stove and flue liner installed. Every person we dealt with at Swift was a true professional, from the owner, to the diagnostician and his apprentice, to the office manager, to the skilled workmen who did our entire installation. Everyone was very knowledgeable and pleasant, communication was easy and clear, we got exactly what we wanted, and safety is their priority. Scheduling the appointment was a little tricky because of the owners schedule. Needless to say, he showed up. I told him the issue I was having and after he looked at my furnace and came down from checking the chimney we had a brief discussion. His solution to my leaking chimney was maybe because of the heavy rain and wind is why it was leaking and since its just a little rain I can just deal with it or he can redo my chimney and make it electric and it would cost me thousands of dollars in which he would gladly do. From the picks he took he said my chimney was the best out of all my neighbors it just had a slight piece of flashing missing in one spot of the chimney which I couldnt see from the picture he showed me. So I asked him could that be where the rain is coming in and he said he didnt know. But he did explain how he could redo my chimney and make it an electric one. Needless to say I cut it short and I said Im not to sure about that I need concrete information on my chimney leak. He said ok walked away and went out the door and said have a good weekend. I said you too. So I think he was not a reputable repairman. I will not call this company again. If anyone was to ask me about this company I will tell them the bad experience I had.In response to the owner. The chimney was that way when I brought my home in 2001. The inspector at that time informed me that they chimney was done wrong when the house was built and I was not going to be able to use the fireplace. You made no mention of the cap being the wrong one. The only thing you said was that my chimney was the best out of my neighbors. You didnt know why it was leaking into the basement. You did offer to replace it with an electric heater that would cost thousands of dollars in which you would gladly do. There at no time did I hire a handyman to do any repairs on my roof or chimney. I was not blaming your company for any repair work on my home. My roof was just done in November 2018 by a professional company. I had another chimney repairman come and clean and inspect my chimney and both said that whoever did my roof did a great job. They seen no flash missing as yoy had stated. They said the chimney was tightly sealed. So no you did not educate me on nothing. When something doesnt sound right it is my responsibility as a homeowner and not go with someone that I feel is not right for me and my household needs. Again there was no handyman who did any repairs to my chimney. And my roof was professionally done. Thanks

Poor service. I went there to get one piece of stove pipe. I told them I needed it in 2 weeks or less, I was told I will have it here if I have to drive tio Jersey and get it myself . Well the pipe was ordered after a $100 deposit was left with my credit card number, time passed and the pipe came in, I went to pick it up and the pipe was bent beyond useable. But my credit card was charged the full $249, I didnt take the pipe, he reordered it, it was also bent. By now I lost my window of opportunity to do the work. I told him I didnt want the pipe to refund my money. He said there would be a 15%restocking charge I never took it from his store!! I then went to my credit card company and got the fraudulent charge reversed. Beware when dealing with them.
