Very satisfied with work performed by Kirkin Exteriors. The representative took time to explain in detail the products that was used as part of roof shingle replacement. They were able to work with the insurance company and they were professional in claim submission requirements. We were notified a week in advance of the installation date (with the exception of weather). The installers came promptly as scheduled. The foreman gave clear instructions and walked us thru post installation. The post-deductible full and final payment was made after the installation was completed. Overall, we had good and satisfactory experience in our interactions with Kirkin.

We bought a house in June 2020 that had the roof replaced by Kirkin Exteriors in spring of 2019. A new roof was one of the reasons we bought the house. On 11/30/2020 we noticed a large water stain spreading on a ceiling that only had roof above it as this area had been an addition to the main house. I looked at the 10 year warranty left by the Seller. Took pictures of the leak, the roof above the leak and called Kirkin Exteriors that day. I was told to email the pictures to the office and explain where the leak was. Did that as soon as I was off the phone with their office. I waited 2 days and did not hear anything back. I called the office and was told that the manager was reviewing and would get back to me on when they would be out to assess what the issue was. I told them that I was concerned as there was rain forecasted in the next 2 days. I was assured that they were on it and would be in touch. It has been more than a week now and no further responses have been received to me from Kirkin Exteriors. A warranty is only as good as the company that stands by it. This is a disappointment for us. *****Update to this post*****. After above review was posted, I was promptly contacted by Danielle at Kirkin Exteriors. She apologized that there was a lack of initial response and did not make any excuses. She made sure that one of their guys was out to the house then next day to look at our issue. It was determined that there was a gutter issue that the tech resolved. I was also given a new warranty. Danielle made it right. Thank you!

I contacted Kirkin for quote for roof flashing repair and gable vent replacement. They sent out an inspector and provided a quote on the spot. The quote was reasonable so I booked an appointment.Kirkin came out at 730am and work was completed by 9am.I am highly satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of the Kirkin employees.

We personally did not have a great experience with Kirken Exteriors. I suspect they may do a good job with roofs, but the services we had they do (windows, calking, etc.) took multiple visits by poorly trained installers. After they left, I had to hire people to power wash the siding where they left a mess and touch up the shutters where they spilled caulk. I even had to apologize to my neighbor for the installers throwing food in their flower bed. I hate writing this review, but wanted my friends and neighbors to be aware that they need to be very clear what they are contracting Kirken do for them, who will be doing it, and when it will be completed. .

Kirkin Exteriors was able to fit us in for a roof inspection/certification on very short notice and gave us a thorough report the same day. Well be calling them back to fix the few minor repairs found!

We have used Kirkin Exteriors for many smaller projects in the past and have always been happy with them. My latest time was a larger project replacing my shingle roof and metal roof which was damaged in the tornado that came through Middletown in August. They made sure they were available to meet with the initial adjuster. They went over and beyond in dealing with our insurance company for months to insure we got a new roof instead of a repair. This involved sending in shingle samples to an independent company to prove that they were no longer available so the roof had to be replaced vs being repaired. They also had to work with the insurance company to show that extra work was needed to install our metal roofing. Very pleased with the work that was done and with all the people involved. Would highly recommend them!

I asked for larger outlets on the gutters, which cost more and the smaller ones were installed. If I hadn’t checked I wouldn’t have know. They did make the correction, but I was told the larger ones wouldn’t fit, which was inaccurate. Now I’m getting messages that the gutter guards are blowing off and some don’t cover the entire length of the gutter, which will allow leaves to get in.

From the time Dan came out to inspect my roof, to the time the installation was complete, Kirkin Exteriors was professional, courteous and efficient. Everyone involved did a tremendous job keeping me posted with time lines and expectations. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to handle this task for me and my family!

Kirkin Exteriors is everything you would want in a company when it comes to making exterior updates. A few years back they gave us a fantastic new roof. This time it was our gutters clogging that prompted our call. They came out same day and gave us a fair estimate. By the end of the week we had gutter guards up in a safe and efficient manner. We will definitely be returning customers!

Very poor customer service. I had to email or call multiple times in order to get a response. I wanted an estimate on siding and doors along with my roof and asked for it multiple time and never received it. Dishonest out code items. $1,500 in items that I was told were code and required but in reality is untrue and left for me to pay. My satellite dish was left hanging from the side of my house. Full pieces of shingles were left on the ground and hanging over my phone line. At least 40 nails were found. Refused to provide itemized statement when requested. 5/11–their technician was just out for a repair and pulled a hand full of leaves out of my gutter. I asked “isn’t there a guard on there?” He said “no guards”. I paid $700 for guards that they didn’t even install. Guess they thought since I’m a female I would never know. Stay away from this company. They steal your money!!

I had Kirkin roofing replace my badly worn roof and install several skylights. The owner personally came to do the estimate, would answer all my questions when I called him and they showed up on time, did a fantastic job and the foreman even sent pictures during the process to show me which boards needed replacing. They left the jobsite clean and even worked with me on a payment schedule. They are so professional and dependable, I am having them come back to replace all my windows next month.

We had our roof replaced by Kirkin last summer on what seemed like the hottest day of the year. The crew came early, took a break during the hottest part, and completed the job in one day. What a great experience I had with Kirkin!! Dan Rankin came out to examine a leak I had and discovered wind damage to my roof. Every step of having the roof-on-roof replaced and dealing with my insurance company was smooth and effortless. Dan spent time with me explaining all of the steps of the roof replacement, as well as going over various products. I highly recommend them!!

Kirkin roofing was great at completing the job but poor at customer service. I waited for about for about 2 months for them to start the job to repair my roof.After trying to figure out when it could be started I waited an additional month for the job to commence. I received a quote for roofing leak and interior, once the pricing was done.. I waited an additional 2 weeks for the job to begin. Then after a series of misquotes and understandings they finally completed the job.Then after finally receiving the payment from my insurance company. They harassed me for the additional upgraded price from the original quoted price. Then they proceeded to ask my insurance company stating we need more funds! .. this company can be shady. The additional funds were then extorted from my insurance company. They funds were paid under protest.I would recommend a more reputable company. Customer service and bill collectors where relentless and the owner harassed my renters .. I thought this was very unprofessional.

I can’t say enough great things about Dan and his team of employees. Scheduling my appointment was easy and Dan came over and made me feel comfortable doing business with him. I now have the best roof in the neighborhood. I will definitely be using them to replace my windows next spring.

Kirkin Exteriors installed a GAF roof on our home in 2019. It was done professionally, on time, and expensive. We expected good workmanship, materials, and service for that price. However, what I discovered two years later is that Kirkin charges $125 per visit to examine roof problems. Once they decide on the cause they may or may not refund that charge.Ive had them back to examine water stains on the interior of our home twice since the installation. Once they claimed the problem was caused by leaks in a sealant and refunded the service charge, the other occasion they blamed the leak on an overflowing gutter and kept the service charge.When I paid over $17,000 for a new roof I expected the same consideration I get when I take my new car to a dealer for warranty work. I do not expect to pay a service fee in order to find out the work is either covered or not by the warranty.Since having Kirkin install my roof in 2019 Ive recommended them to a family member. Until Kirkin revamps its service policies I cant do that again!

Kirkin Exteriors is the best! Our first experience with Kirkin Exteriors was with a back porch with a leaky roof. We had multiple roofers come out to take a look, work on it, and claim the leak was fixed. Since it only leaked during heavier rains it appeared to be fixed until another heavy rain occurred when it became obvious the leak hadn’t been fixed. It was so frustrating! Then, we had Kirkin Exteriors come out and take a look. Dan and his crew were able to figure out why the roof was leaking and fixed the problem! That was 2 years ago and still no leak!After a couple winters of placing plastic over some of our old windows to keep drafts out and windowsills on our second floor that were in obvious need of attention, we decided to replace our windows and have the window frames and sills wrapped. After experiencing the fabulous workmanship Kirkin Exteriors provided on our roof, it was a no-brainer that we wanted them to install the new windows in our home. Dan came out the day after contacting them, measured our windows and showed us the types of windows to choose from. He took his time with us and answered any questions we had. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. The pricing was lower than friends we talked to who also had windows installed by another company. The installation was done as planned. The installers were friendly, explained the work they were doing, and cleaned up any mess they made. Not only are our new windows beautiful, but I’m sitting in a cozy, warm house, on this cold, windy day, with no plastic on the windows or any draft! Found Kirkin on home advisor. They came out quickly & has significantly lower quotes than the rest. The roofer was personable & to the point. Spoke to us like we were the neighbors next door. Came out a second time at no charge bc the leak still needed a tiny bit more work. Overall, good experience!

Thanks to my neighbor who recommended that I call Dan from Kirkin to do my roof, I couldnt have found better Company to replace the roof. From the first day I became a customer with Kirkin Roofing Company until my job was complete my experience was excellent in the customer service aspect of the job. Dan the owner responded to my call almost immediately, and he came out to assess the job himself. I was so excited to here him say he would fit me into his schedule even though it was full and the weather was fighting against us. November is an unpredictable month and we had heavy rains and wind which threw his schedule off but he managed to get the job done right on time, because I had some major issues that couldnt have taken another bad storm. Kirkin Roofing came out to seal some nail heads on a roof and do a repair on a botched repair by another company who incorrectly uninstalled and sealed holes left behind from removing solar panels. Kirkin staff (both in office and contractor) was courteous, knowledgeable, clean, timely, and did an all around fantastic job for a great price. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work done.
