I chose to take my vehicle to DJ’s soon after my car broke down & wouldn’t start. I called ahead to inquire if he would allow my car to get towed to his auto shop and to get a diagnostic. He agreed and notified me when could he could get started on my car. He completed the service very quickly and even allowed me leave my car for a couple of days so I was able to return my rental & gather funds. Soon as I picked up my car, I had experienced issues in starting and he immediately tested the cars battery. He went above and beyond by monitoring its voltage and giving me a car crash lesson on the battery. Long story short, it needed to be replaced. I will definitely go back to DJ for an installation abs additional maintenance! He’s recommended 100%. The service was great and even more, customer experience was smooth. Thank you DJ!

I was in a bind and needed my car serviced (I needed an alternator) and other shops wouldnt have been able to service my car until late into the following week. As a single mom of 3, I need my car. Thankfully DJs told me I could bring it in (Friday) and Id have it back Monday which was fine because I had no weekend plans. Dave was very friendly and explained all that they would need to do. He kept me well informed and finished the work on Monday as stated. Im grateful for the speedy service and courtesy.

Took our 2014 Ram Bighorn in for what I believed to be a problem with the fuel pump Dealer quoted me 1600 without looking at the car just by what the code read. DJ was very straightforward in letting me know if its not needed Ill let you know. Fixed the truck, it did not need a fuel pump. Will be a lifetime customer. He told me Im here to earn your money not steal it I am extremely grateful and recommend this gentleman.

Incredible service! Without a doubt the nicest and most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with. This is the place to go - Im still in shock about the level of customer service I received. Seriously 10/10 without a doubt, Im never going anywhere else.

I personally have been bringing my vehicles to DJ since I was 18. Im 28 now. So 10 years. NEVER not once has he did me wrong in anyway. ALWAYS great reliable, honest, service. I have foolishly took my car to other mechanics at times, and have been overpriced for nonsense. Or lied to about things my vehicle doesnt really need. DJ has always been straight forward and fair with me. From simple things like oil changes. All the way to serious things like transmissions. It is no coincidence that the shop has been open for over 20 years!!! I have referred several friends and they all have the same great customer experience. No bs if you are looking for outstanding service for your vehicle. Take it to DJs.

D.J.is an outstanding mechanic & person- he wont scam you-he will go that extra mile - give rides somewhere after you drop your car off,etc. The last time I called him- I was broken down on Basin rd.(I hadnt bought that broken down car at his business!) I had called him-and he was out there in 10 minutes. He then quickly told me he had a van for sale - so I was broken down - at 12.00pm and by 3pm I was riding out with the van. He has 2 full-time mechanics working for him- and they are also tremendous! I would directly recommend him with no reservation!!

I needed a transmission replaced. I dropped my Suburban off on Monday before Thanksgiving and Dave called the day after Thanksgiving and said it was done. I was very impressed with Dave & his service!! I highly recommend DJs!

As a first time customer Ibwas please and satisfied.I will continue to go there David James was straight forward and honest about my car situation he was helpful and took the time to show me the problems with my car as well as explaining things to me. The shop diagnosed the issue in my 2001 s-10, took care of it, at a very fair price. I havent had any trouble with it since. I will definitely use this shop again!!

I had a brand new engine put in by DJ Auto and now im taking it back for the 3rd time in LESS than 1,000 miles on it . #1- LOOSE spark plug wires, # 2- rough idle, NOW # 3 - leaking transmiision fluid ( had to remove transmission to put the big 6.0 liter engine. All they did was rush to get it in and get paid and im paying for it still. DONT TRUST THEM !!!!

If you have an issue with a business then possibly you could handle it In a more professional manor then just writing bad reviews when its uncalled for. As a shop owner he can not control what is under warranty. He constantly has to go to bat for customers when it comes to the warranty companies because just like alot of warranties they always try to get out of covering costs. My dad gets paid on a repair whether it comes from a warranty company or the customer so why would he not want the warranty company to pay. He always tells me stories about how he has to sit on the phone for hours going back and forth with different warranty companies to get them to cover costs for the customers. Do you realize all of your reviews on businesses are negative. Not one review has had anything positive to say besides the one for Barnes and Nobles. Im sorry you had a bad experience with the dealership & DJS Auto but I can assure you my dad does not take anyone for their money. He is always looking out for the customers best interest. He has been in business for a long time and has basically created his company on word of mouth advertisement. If you have an issue that you would like resolved please contact David. Please consider your reviews in the future not just for DJS automotive but all small businesses. If its something out of the businesses control then you cant place blame in places blame is not deserved. Please give my Dad a call at his shop and he would be more than happy to try to resolve any of your concerns. WATCH OUT!!!!!! Terrible experience at this place! I believe that New Caslte motors and this DJs place have a deal..New caslte motors sells you a piece of s*** and this guy david james will overcharge you to fix all the problems with the vehicle. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCHEMED OUT OF YOUR MONEY! (DJs auto or new castle motors)I had to take my 2005 chevy trailblazer 5 times to this so called auto repair shop to find out I needed a new battery...all in all Ive paid over $1000 in repairs to DJs auto in the FIRST YEAR of buying my truck...and get this...every time I took my truck, NOTHING THAT NEEDED REPAIRS WAS UNDER WARRANTY!!!...go figure huh....then I was charged $149 for them to tell me that I needed a new battery after my truck had already went through several tests that cost me several hundred dollars...please learn from my mistake and find a reputable shop that has to be held more accountable..this ma n pa shop will try to take all your hard earned money and not think twice!!! DONT DO IT!!!
