Gary in service Department was fantastic!Extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming. Gary went over each of our concerns in detail. My wife and I are extremely please and more than satisfied with our vehicle service today.
During the buying process you receive top notch service. Once you have finalized your purchase it is a wrap. You won’t get any of your calls, texts, emails or any other correspondences ever answered. Don’t even think about the other promises made.If you plan to purchase a vehicle stay away from Darcars in New Carrollton they are the worst.
Javan answered my call at 9pm regarding a white Rubicon I found on Dacars lot and was able answer all of my questions. We conducted all of our business over phone and email which was convenient. Great young man who knows his product because he owns his product. Very impressed with Dacars inventory. Chose this dealer over dozens more across four States. Will purchase another vehicle from them in the future.
****DONT GO****STAY AWAY****Only giving 1 star because I cant give ZERO.Worst auto experience of my life.Dishonest with genuine intent to deceive.(the only exception is Ken- the finance guy- he was Great)There was ZERO desire to provide any type of customer service, even when I made it as easy as humanly possible. I gave crystal clear communication and specific questions.. which were met with repetitive disregard and false information. They, Javon (sales rep) specifically, lied lied repeatedly about several things, which I later discovered and they could not have cared less.Even contacted the General Manger, Tim, directly.. and, despite an abundance of clear examples of wrong doing, he made no attempt to correct or reconcile, beyond a simple apology. He said he would follow up, never did.
I’ve bought a number of cars and I will say even though I had to drive 2 hours to get the truck I wanted it was well worth it! George Sparks was my salesman. We did everything via text and email prior to me getting there. When I arrived everything was as promised. Numbers were as discussed. Truck was there. Paperwork was ready and waiting. It was the fastest I’ve EVER been in and out of a dealership in my life. Make sure you see George Sparks when you get there because he is extremely professional and got me exactly what I wanted! Andrew, the finance manager made the process easy and so smooth. Driving 2 hours to get the truck you want isn’t ideal but I would do it all over again because of how they handled this sale. Thank you!Nick
My experience with Darcars of New Carrollton is the worst. Have purchased a vehicle almost 5months now and still haven’t received my tag or title. And no one is communicating. All they are after is making sales and does it!!! Is frustrating!!!! There’s no way I will recommend this dealership to any of my family, friends, and colleagues. Heck NO!!!
Tim Ralston and his team at Dar Cars in New Carrolton made my car buying process easy and pain-free. Lambert and Frank were amazing and very helpful in answering any questions I had about the vehicle and the buying process along the way. Andrew was very professional and detailed in explaining the financials and insurance. Tim and his team treated me like family. I will be returning here in the future and referring anyone who wants a quick and easy car-buying experience. Highly recommend!!!!!! very very happy with my new jeep. Thanks guys!!! =D
Management in the service department need to improved dramatically, they knows but people on the top are not making the change needed. Also the put the wrong oil in my car I request synthetic. Then I find a crack on my spoiler not big but that crack wasnt there, not the first time but I decided I will fix it myself itWill be quick. This dealer is very convenient for me because I can drop my vehicle in the morning and walk to work but now I been forced to look for a better service one wish is hard because my situation. Is sad that some of this individual dont appreciate the job they have.
After reading negative reviews, I was nervous about buying from this dealership. However, the dealership/manager came through with any concerns/questions I had and everything was handled satisfactory. Great customer service.
I purchased a truck on April 10, 2021 and my (Sales Specialist) was Pat King. &&; She was awesome!!! She took her time with me, and helped me picked out my Dream truck!!! I love my new truck!!! Thank you so much Ms. Pat!!! I appreciate all that all that you do!! I would definitely refer someone to DarCars.
If I could give less than one star I would! This place has a very unprofessional manager who would rather talk about his G-Wagon and make fun of potential car buyers to his staff to make himself to look good. He was making snide comments and jokes about us to other coworkers in front of us all while we were talking to a sales person. We’ve called several times sometimes to no answer. If somehow we were lucky enough to get through, the receptionist had a bad attitude and rushed us off the phone. This dealership should be the poster child for poor customer service, avoid this place like the plague.
I have a recall issue to address. I have been calling this location, but the service dept are not answering the phone. I was told by the receptionist they are not going to answer the phone. I asked for the manager and was told he also not answering the phone. Ill never buy a product from the company ever again horrible customer service. Call the corporate office and they also wont help u...no wonder when I was going to buy a Dodge Durango the Ford dealer told me I used to work for them. There customer Service sucks...so I ended up buying a Ford Explorer. I should have remembered what what he said when I wanted a smaller vehicle and ended with a Dodge dart...waste of money....thankfully I still have my Explorer
Worked with them on a potential deal. Was 100% clear up front that I had a supplier discount (FCA affiliates program). Worked two days with them, to have them say Were not willing to honor the supplier discount. Move on.
Emmanuel was my salesperson. He sold me a 2019 Jeep Renegade. He NEVER allowed me to test drive it. I had asked him if I could drive it and instead his response was “let’s get the paperwork started we can drive it after”. It was almost like he was only after the money. I told him I would be picking the car up the day after, he was nowhere to be found. He left and never came back and the manager had to show me the car and was even puzzled himself as to how he made me buy the car and didn’t allow me to test drive it. Emmanuel even lied to me and told me that darcars didn’t have the oil change package anymore while everyone else they worked there told me that they did. After a few months I got fed up of the renegade and the problems that came with it. I took it back and met George and Franky {they’re both Jamaican that’s the only way you’ll know who they are} and they were phenomenal. The overall experience was amazing and I walked out with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. These two guys really helped me out and the overall experience was pleasurable and a piece of cake! I’d honestly say avoid Emanuel because he only wants the sale in my opinion and go straight for George and Franky
I contacted this dealer to negotiate the purchase of a minivan. It started off well, but when I tried to engage in negotiation of the price, the response I got was dismissive and condescending. The implication was that I didnt understand how cars are priced and sold and so I could be told that the Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price (MSRP) is not a suggestion and is set in stone. The rep then said he would look for coupons to bring the price down.I dont know how this company is in business, but stay away unless you are prepared to pay asking price, no questions asked. If you are, I have some prime property for sale near the beautiful Chernobyl power plant.Stay away.
Worst service experience ever, took my truck to have a tire replaced under warranty and they couldn’t even call the claim in to get it approved. I had to call the tire and wheel claims number then call seven times to reach advisor to have them speak on a three way call.Update: I have now been experiencing issues directly after having my tires replaced from this dealership. They stole my tire pressure sensor from both of my front wheels. Anybody getting service from this dealership beware that they will steal things off of your vehicle if you do not move forward with any of there recommendations.
The only reason I’m giving two stars and not one is because of my salesperson, Javan. He made the trade in process so smooth and hassle free, and he was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful throughout all of the problems I’ve had in the five months I’ve had my car. I went in looking to trade in my car for a Renegade. I absolutely love my car. Javan made sure that the buying process was so smooth. However, the problems came after the car. I did buy it used, but very gently used and some things just shouldn’t happen. About 6 weeks after I traded it in, I was getting notifications from my old car lender than I was missing payments. I thought it was them, but nope, it was DARCARS who didn’t pay off my trade in. I spent days back and forth on the phone with DARCARS and my old car lender trying to get it sorted out. Of course, that caused problems with MVA because to them, I had a vehicle that was uninsured. Problem two. I begin to hear a knocking/creaking noise into month 3 of having my car. I take it to my friend’s husband to look at it, and he can’t get the tire off because the wheel is locked, and guess what? My car didn’t come with the key. They tell me if they have a spare, I can have it but if not, I’ll have to purchase one. Good thing it didn’t come to that, because it wouldn’t have been pretty had they tried to make me pay. I then have to go back and dig in a box and test out keys that fit my tire. Luckily we found one, but why wouldn’t it come with a key?! Thank God I wasn’t on the side of the road or something and needed it. Problem 3, my friend’s husband tells me that my cv axles are bad and now the parts are going to cost me close to $700. Livid is an understatement. This car had 12,000 miles when I bought it and I’ve only put 3,000 on it since March. Were these not inspected? This part should last 100,000 miles if not more and I’m already having to replace it. I love my car but I can’t even enjoy it because it’s been nothing but a hassle since I’ve bought it. The deals are not worth it, and the only thing they have going for them are Javan and Kenny, the finance manager who also helped me out a ton.
Need to improve on customer service and have more ways for customers to contact/be contacted about their vehicles. Hope to see that change in the future.
Buyers beware! I called and confirmed a Jeep Gladiator was on their lot before driving an hour and a half to the dealership. They confirmed it was, and the price was the same as listed online. After spending 3 hours in the dealership, and them running my credit, the payment was much higher than it should have been. They would not tell us why, or show us a breakdown of the financial information. They did not, and still have not even showed me my interest rate. 2 days later they finally texted me the financials. Turned out, they were trying to charge me a price over 15,000 dollars higher than what was listed online. If I would have known it they were selling the truck for 61,000 bucks, instead of what was listed online (43,000 bucks) I would have never wasted a Saturday at that dealership. They lied to my wife and I repeatedly saying they didn’t know. But we know it was a lie, because we understand basic math. Do not shop this dealership unless you want to deal with lies and waste your day.
The five stars is for the salesman Lambert Selenou. The most through salesman I have ever meet. I would recommend every customer to buy your next car from Lambert. He know every detail about the Grand Cherokee .
My recent buying experience at Darcars Jeep New Carrollton was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. This was the 25th vehicle I’ve purchased in my life and was better than my prior excellent experiences with Mercedes, Acura and Infiniti. My initial contact was with sales person Caesy Rivera by phone and he was very informative about the Darcars pricing strategy and verifying the 2020 Grand Cherokee High Altitude (w/5.7L Hemi) I was interested in was available.I was unable to travel the 1.5 hours to the dealership till this past Friday (9 Oct).Upon arrival and after being introduced to sales managers Frankie and Tim, Caesy explained features of the vehicle (this was my first time driving a Grand Cherokee) and the basic outline of where we were going on the test drive. The Grand Cherokee was quite impressive. Upon return to the dealership, Caesy provided the dealerships initial sales write up.I was impressed with their first offer on the F150 I was trading in. The Darcar sales price of the Grand Cherokee was quite fair based upon my several weeks of research. After a brief discussion with Frankie (Semper Fi!), we were able to come to an acceptable compromise on pricing of both the Grand Cherokee and my F150 trade in. This occurred in
The service I received or lack thereof was embarrassing. I waited two hours after dropping off to find my vehicle was not looked at. After speaking to Manager on duty about my concerns, he offered a rental. I left the dealership at 12pm, whole day went by had not heard from dealership so I called at 530 because I knew the shop should be closing soon, only to find out that the work would not be completed, I was told at the time because they didnt have parts and that my vehicle would need to stay overnight. Due to my concerns that I had not received a call to notify me, I decided to pick up my vehicle instead. I arrived back to the dealership to a lot of blank faces and no explanation, while speaking to the shop manager I did find out that the reasoning of not having the parts to complete the work was not true. I asked to get my vehicle, went to drop off the rental to come back to the dealership to find that the tech working on my vehicle had left for the day and had locked my keys in his toolbox, its now pass closing. So now find myself waiting an additional hour for the tech to return to the shop to unlock his toolbox just so I could get my vehicle and leave. I received no apologies for time wasted and no explanation of how something as simple as a brake job went so wrong. Due to this Darcars jeep has lost my business and support. I now drive out to Safford VA to get my vehicle serviced. When Darcars hires new staff, I will consider bringing my business back to that dealership. Lastly, on my return, there were two other upset customers who were experiencing similar issues, they too were not happy. That day was a complete failure. I have yet to receive a call or any communication from the dealership, which solidified for me they do not want my business.
Too bad you cant give zero stars. Salesperson called me after I inquired about a truck. Asked him to give me his best price given my specific parameters. He responded with a rude attitude (do you want a price or do you want to buy the truck ??) and said he would email me some numbers after talking to his manager. No response. Dont waste your time with these guys, they dont want your money.
Wow, Im enjoying my New 2020 JEEP CHEROKEE from DAR CARS DODGE of New Carrollton.
I am speaking to the new cars sales side as I have not had my vehicle serviced at this location. I purchased my Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody in DEC 2019 from DARCARS New Carrollton. The sales team was low pressure, gave me a great price and was outstanding to deal with through the whole process. The Redeye was exactly what I wanted any they did a great job. The team was also very Military friendly and I enjoyed my experience even coming in from PA. Thanks again!
Found a lightly used Ford F-250 on their website and called to ask questions and negotiate a deal. Worked out a price with a sales person and asked if they wanted a deposit, to hold the truck for us since it was Christmas Eve and they would be closing early. They sent the form right before they closed, so we did not get it done that day. The next day was Christmas day so nothing happened. Emailed the credit authorization form on Saturday and they received and charged the $2,500 deposit to our card and they sent a receipt back to me.So we figured everything was fine, we don’t live locally so we were arranging shipping and logistics to get it picked up this week and sent to us. Monday the 28th, less than a day and half after making the deposit to supposedly hold the truck for us, I get a text stating that the truck was sold that morning.I was very angry and called and was put in touch with the used car sales manager, I asked what was going on and was told he sold the car himself that morning, and that he had no knowledge of my deposit on the truck, but then he contradicted himself and said that my sales guy had been trying to get ahold of me and he just assumed we didn’t want the vehicle anymore. The deposit was charged and receipt sent back to us on Saturday afternoon, so either the sales manager was lying to me or was more interested in making the sale himself.I don’t recommend anyone deal with a business that takes your money to hold a vehicle and then sales it anyways. Very unprofessional and was basically told it was my fault and tough luck.Take your business to a company that is trustworthy and is not just out to make a dollar!
I want to say that Emmanuel was an absolute AMAZING salesman, but almost everything after dealing with him was a disaster. Bought the car in September and just now got plates in February. Active duty military so I wanted to register the car in my home state (which I told them the day of signing) and that was clearly something they had never done and were continuously dropping the ball, ignoring messages, and lying about progress. My bank sent 2 lien releases and we were told nothing was received even though there was a signature on file accepting the document. I finally had to drop the third one off in person and my state DMV made multiple phone calls in hopes to assist in the process and get my documents. If you are military and hoping to register in YOUR state (which you are entitled to do) I would not go here unless you don’t mind waiting and having to constantly check the status. Jim Ralston and Emmanuel were extremely helpful but everyone else I dealt with was either extremely rude or just overall not helpful.
Salesman George was very helpful, but his manager Frank unhelpful and pompous. I had a question George couldnt answer so he directed me to the manager. Frank acted as if I was being ridiculous for asking him a question directly. I left and you shouldnt bother going. There are too many dealerships in the DMV to deal with this lack of professionalism.
Great dealership and lots of hard to find /unique vehicles. Emanuel was great salesman and Gm Tim sealed the deal. Drove 4 hrs to buy a hard to find trackhawk. In /out fast service etc . Well worth a 4 hr trip
Horrible customer service. Advisors do not know how to do their job. They will screw up your vehicle and the repair orders, try to charge you different amounts that they just pulled out of thin air, and to top it all off the service manager will be of no help during any of it. He will not return your calls. This dealerships service department should be SHUT DOWN!!!
Highly disappointed! I am from out of state and working in the area. My truck broke down and I had to have it towed to this location. Told them what had happened, as if the big flashing error on the dash wasn’t enough! They kept my truck for 3 days with no communication until I showed out a little. Then toldMe my truck was ready. I get up there and don’t even make it out the lot! Same issue. So the mechanic did a recall and didn’t even bother to fix the issue. Now they have my truck again, and my crew has left the state to start another job. However I’m still here racking up on motels, and car rentals all the while not making any money due to being stuck here! Oh yeah absolutely no assistance from these people!
Stephen Slater did an excellent job patiently helping us explore various trucks until we figured out exactly what options we wanted. When DARCARS didnt have the exact truck we were looking for, they were able to get one in from another dealer that same day and gave me an amazing deal. The actual sale was very efficient and smooth, Andrew Williams did a wonderful job working through the financing and paperwork. Highly recommend DAECARS Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of New Carrollton!
Honestly, I wouldn’t trust them with any of my vehicles. I’ve never had a good experience with them.
I arrived on time, I didnt have to wait long to be seen, the issue with the car was explained to me in full details that I could understand. They made suggestions and recommendations as to what I needed to do to have my vehicle repaired, I accepted those recommendations, Now Im happy
STAY AWAY!!!! Absolutely terrible, the service department has no idea what they are doing no timeline people avoiding me on the phone eventually had to come down here to get my car and all this for a simple oil change I cannot imagine if they had to do anything more challenging then an oil change no communication with what so ever so after 6 hours and counting I’m still waiting for something that I was told in the morning would not take more then 2 hours and I really don’t mind if it takes longer but I was not told anything and when I call for a status update I get the run around for no reason and when I come here I discovered that they don’t have the parts for it I just can’t believe this this is the worst ever, take your car elsewhere and if this is how they service then I would not buy here either this is my first and last time here avoid this place.
Ask for car salesperson named, Dulce...She is the best
I was offered an opportunity to trade in my 2016 Jeep for a new 2021 Jeep Compass. The salesperson Mr. Emmanuel was very nice and helpful. We talked on the phone because ofCOVID19 to start the process. Mr. Emmanuel asked me what color and style of Jeep I wanted, what features etc. When I came to DARCARS the new Jeep was ready for test drive. Afterwards the managers spoke with me and they were able to give me a very good price and reasonable monthly payments. Everyone was very helpful and supportive. It was a great day!
Impossible to get a straight answer on the phone, they make you wait and wait and wait... be ready to be patient. Been calling for 2 days just to try and get someone on the phone that knows whats going on with my vans... ridiculously bad customer service... avoid at all cost!!
On point! The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
The DARCARS New Carrollton service team started out very strong helping me out with a piss poor job that was done at the DARCARS in Camp Springs, MD. The Camp Springs, MD team did not document effectively which caused me to spend extra money to get the service completed.I left my vehicle with the New Carrollton team yesterday at approximately 1030 (I had an appointment) a simple evaluation. More than 24 hours later the manager tells me that the car hasn’t been looked at yet.I currently stay in Washington, DC and it’s not cheap to go to MD so this is a huge inconvenience and I feel like I wasted my time at 2 DARCARS facilities on 2 separate locations. This is unacceptable at the least. Please be aware of the risks you are taking coming to DARCARS. I wouldn’t buy a dodge from them if it was a only a penny.
So a long story short...my car started smoking and stall(the engine cut off in the middle of the street). I talk to Chrysler about the issue and they mention that it had to due with the recall for an accelerator, so I submitted my car to this particular dealership for repair. After retrieving my car ON THE SAME DAY from the dealership, my car began to smoke & stall and oil ran out of it....again!! I was so scare that a fire would break out so I call the fire department. This was the same situation I describe the dealership about and they did not fix my issue, I have a police witness and video camera footage of my car smoking less than an hour of getting my car back from the dealership. So now I am asking them to return my money or I will file a lawsuit against the dealership and company. This is the third time I had issue with my car and Chrysler never fixes correctly.
Andrew is the worst person to speak with, he is talking to you as if you owe him something, or as if you arent supposed to ask questions. He exhibits aggravation and is totally unprofessional.Their title and registration person Dona was also extremely unpleasant, tried to answer my question very rudely, then when I asked to speak with someone else, she sent me back to the receptionist.. DO NOT BUY THE CAR HERE....They blame COVID for everything and are not willing to help at all!I bought a ram truck on August 2nd and I still dont have documents..... They are not willing to do anything and I am making payments for third month....
Went to parts talked with Theresa she was awesome when looking for a part for my Jeep very patient thank you very much!!!
I’m very disappointed after purchasing a 2020 Dodge Challenger as a early Birthday gift to myself on July 8,2020 only to have driven it less than seven days and to realize there’ was a mechanical default with the SOS and ASSIST SYSTEM which will not grant me total access to my vehicle features. I was given a loaner after speaking with the GM which was dirty inside and out with stains on the seats, dirty floor etc. I was in disbelief! Why wasn’t the vehicle disinfected after the previous users during the COVID-19 pandemic?? I’m so frustrated right now, I could scream!! Literally. I’m without $6500 a dirty loaner vehicle, poor customer service, and a new car note to pay soon. So today’s my Birthday July 22,2020 I was hoping that I would have my car back by now or even at least an update from yesterday’s diagnosis with the EXPERTS as I was advised and still nothing yet! At this point I just want a total refund. I no longer want the vehicle and there’s no telling what else could be wrong with it. My experience here did not exceed my expectations at all, although the GM was very cooperative and caring. My overall experience with Darcars wasn’t what I expected and could’ve been better. I’m very sad and disappointed.
Extremely disappointed with the service department at this location. I have encountered the same situation twice. I took in my car several months ago to have a warranty repair done. That time I was called at the end of the day and informed that they did not have the part to make the repair. Its ridiculous that it would take all day for them to make that determination even after calling other dealerships looking for the part. Fine. I gave them another chance. Here we are months later with the same result. Even after specifically asking when I made the appointment if they had the part, here we are at 5pm being told they dont after my car has been there all day. Apparently folks dont have much going on so we can just waste our days waiting to find out this Dept has done absolutely nothing with our vehicle. Even better, the service manager Stephanie is apparently too busy to take calls from customers. So I guess if you enjoy wasting your time for absolutely nothing then this is the place for you. Good luck folks.
This place is horrible, I usually dont even take time to write reviews but this car buying process was horrible. Little to no communication, changing prices, saying that X is needed for the deal because the bank required it only to have the bank tell me nothing as required on their end. I bought my vehicle at the end of April and still dont have my tags in July. There is a pandemic going on so I understand that there is backlog, but this is nonsense. Tags and title lady is outrageously rude when asking for BASIC information. I wish I could give zero stars. All I want is my tags so I can never deal with them again. Save yourself a hassle and go somewhere else. Also, Ive already reached out to customer relations etc to absolutely no avail, so dont waste the automated email response.
I went in just to see if I could afford a new car and I bought a new Chrysler 300 sports package. Casey Rivera my sales rep was patient, kind, and made the car buying experience smooth and easy. Big shout out to Kenneth Wright in finance we had a good conversation and a lot of laughs which made the process seem faster. Thank you DARCARS for valuing your customers time.
The absolute worst customer service. Do not go there!
I bought a car in this location and the general manager was very unprofessional. He did not do anything to resolve my problems about the car. The new did not come with a spare tire, spare tire tools,no jack and no car carpets in front. What made me feel bad is that all the vehicles from the same model in the parking lot had a spare tire exc6for the one I bought. I it does not make sense to. Buy a brand new car if you buy a separate spare tire kit. I recommend to all customers to stay away from this location
Received excellent customer service...plus got the keys to the JEEP!
The customer service was awesome and the service is always excellent 👌 love that place, hands-down.
Speaking specifically of the service department: not the best service but not the worst either. Hit or miss. Sometimes an oil change only takes an hour, sometimes 4 hours. I only deal with them because of the proximity to my house and (I would hope) they have more knowledge of my Dodge vehicle than an outside shop. Employee turnover rate seems pretty high so I cant recommend any service tech.
I am highly upset with this dealership. I purchased my car 2 months ago and they still haven’t done the pay off of my trade in. I am now being charged 2 payments for no reason. I call and call no one answers. Impossible to get anyone to talk to. I’m highly upset l. I’ve been patient with pandemic going on but 2 months is ridiculous!!! 😡😡 I need a call back!!!
I drop my car off on Sunday and no one has called me to tell me what is going on. I called on Monday and they told me that they need to order a replacement part on my car and that it should be ready today . I call today and sat on the phone for 15 to 20 minutes for someone to tell me that they will call me back. This is very inconvenient because I had to rent a car to get myself back and forth to work. I am very disappointed with this situation because if they dont call back today that mean I have to rent a car for another day. I am putting out more money than I have to. Very disappointing inconvenient for me.
After sharing how I really felt They made changes.
Darcars was great to deal with. I spoke to Tim last night the general manager and left a deposit on one of the only green Trackhawks around. He said “see you in the morning.”We drove down from NY to Maryland and picked it up. Everyone here was super nice especially Tim, you can tell he has a real passion for what he does. If you need a car go see Tim for sure!
All in all a good experience today very pleased with the final outcome and thank you Pat King sales consultant and business manager Andrews Williams a shout-out to Javon from DuVal High School
Huge dealership. Actually had a difficult time maneuvering around the parking lot. Drive 2.5 hours to get there and found a perfect car. Offer their asking price but asked for $400 in new tires and was turned away for a used $15,000 van that was on their lot for 8 months. If you fall for a dealerships list price or are what salespeople call lay-downs, this is the place.
The service was great. No complaints.
I only put one star because google doesn’t allow me to put 0 stars. These people can cheat you out of your money very easily, they are manipulative. I took my vehicle for warranty work, and they ended up keeping the car for 6 weeks. We asked what was going on, they asked for a maintenance record of our car, we didn’t hear back for even more weeks. They had apparently found sludge in the oil in the engine. The manufacturer wouldn’t cover the cost of the repair and it would cost 4K for them to fix our car. The thing is they never opened up the engine, I checked the oil myself and it was still new, the car only had about 40,000 miles on it. There was no sludge. How could you check an internal engine component without opening it and taking out said part, the engine block was completely untouched.I asked the supervisor to look at the vehicle before I took away my car and I asked why they opened up the engine of my car without my consent supposedly. No response.I asked for proof of picture and warranty decline. They told me they’d get back to me. When they did, they didn’t have an answer for how they got the picture. My car is now being worked on at a different dealershipTL:DR beware of scams.
Kept me waiting for an appointment to buy my car and sell me a new one. I sat there 30 mins and no one said nothing to me. It was time to go. This is not acceptable.
George was beyond helpful amazing salesman professional
3 hours for an oil change.
Fantastic buying experience thanks to salesman Hassan Cotay, Bus Mgr Ken Wright and a host of others to get me top dollar for my trade-in and a fabulous price on a new 2020 Jeep Latitude Plus. I am thrilled... not just with the vehicle, but the entire experience. They were helpful, informative, friendly and personable, which after two months of car searching, I realize now, I should have gone here first. Will go out of their way to make you happy. They sure made me one happy customer!!
Ordered a part.. they told me come in @9am part would be here. I get there at 10. Nobody knows jack. Then tell me its coming the next day no time just the next day. I work for a shop. Never doing buisness there again
Update (29 June 2019) - If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They are fantastic. Long story short, put in a special order on a car and they tracked it from the moment I ordered it - through it being built - right up to its delivery. Within 24 hours of its arrival my new truck was ready for me to drive...and they have been nothing but awesome and incredible and the vehicle is fantastic (perma-grin whenever I drive it). Thanks to them, I am a owner of the new Jeep Gladiator - RubiconWhen you arrive and are unsure of anything, ask for Tim!!! He will ensure that you are being taken care of.
Very unhelpful. Went in to buy a car outright with no financing and was basically told my business was not wanted. Dealt with a very incompetent salesperson.
Love this place! They get you into a car fast and easy and they make sure thats what you really want before you jump on just 1 vehicle if you go there shopping and not knowing exactly what you want. There very true and honest with there customers as well which is a great thing when it comes to a CAR and MONEY in general. I would recommend DAR CARS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE THAT IS OUT THERE TO SHOP! THIS IS A WONDERFUL LOCATION AND VERY VERY WELL TRAINED EMPLOYEES!EASY TO FIND RIGHT OFF A MAIN HIGHWAY.
Go see James Aseidu-Pani! Excellent customer service!
I came in the dealer and I was pleasantly greeted by a sales person right away. I didnt have to wait. She was not only very knowledgeable about the product, but she was also genuinely kind. Most times sales reps forget about the customer service, but Ronnie Hughes did the exact opposite. She was great!! I will be back to get my vehicle very soon from Ronnie Hughes.Thank you for the great customer service and pleasant experience.
The sale associate that help us was helpful, patient and nice. But when she went to seeking assistance or any questions that need to be answer, everyone will be rude to her, and not acknowledge her. Very rude and disrespectful. It made us feel uncomfortable. Im VERY disappointed with dealership employees.
A very pleasant experience. Had no appointment cuz my problem was severe and sudden but Malcolm the service adviser took my car in and got it booked and looked at the very next day. Kept me informed with every step to be taken and helped with my warranty as well. These guys are just great and will be going there from now onwards for my services and oil change. Thanks guys and thanks Malcolm for such a great personality you have👍
Infact if you need a car, DARCARS Of New Carrollton is the place to go.Emmanuel is the sales specialist you want to see. He is a wonderful person. You feel at home when you go there. The entire sales staff are lovely.Thank you Emmanuel, I love my Jeep.....
Brought my Jeep Cherokee in for its routine oil change. Was told that I would get a conventional oil change and pay about $40 — that’s expected. An hour or so later, it was time to check out and the guy laughed off that he made a mistake and the truck takes full synthetic so the price jump to almost $100. I try my best not to complain and I need my car so I just paid it. Fast forward to the start of this week and I start having engine trouble. Take it to another dealership and they find that I’m two quarts short of oil and that’s why my car has been stalling for the past three days. Had to pay $60 to get another oil change to fix what these people at DARCARS failed to do. Dealing with this has been nerve wracking because your car shutting off while driving is out of this world dangerous. The other dealer found no leaks and blamed this on human error. I will be calling in the morning to request at least a partial refund because $96 for an oil change that wasn’t done with fidelity is bad business. I’m disgusted.
My experience was amazing it really felt like family. It seemed like everybody really wanted me to get the car that I wanted and did all they could to allow it to happen. The experience was great even all the way to the end when you are almost pretty much excited to know you have the car and you just have one more step to go which is the paper work at the end that you have to sign... that experience was phenomenal Justin D (Finance) made me feel like I was at home, just hanging out! He explained the paper work so I can understand it thoroughly and he made me feel extremely comfortable signing them he is such a great person and definitely is awesome at his job I definitely recommend darcars to any and everybody who is interested in getting a vehicle because my experience was the BEST
I walked in looking to purchase a vehicle. Ronnie greeted me at the door. She was very polite and listened in detail to exactly what I was looking for. She was able to work with me and my price range. Ronnie provided great customer service skills the entire time. She was pleasant, warm, and energetic which made me feel ecstatic about working with her.
Great customer experience!Very Efficient timely manner of assisting me on my experience inside the dealership!!!From start to finish everything was an A1 experience.Didnt feel pressured nor in a tight situation with dealing with numbers in the deal.I was very informed on the whole process, and as a customer I felt very comfortable.I received Excellent service from Mrs. Patricia king as well as the manager Frankie.
George Was Great & Will Be Referring To ONLY George
After having a terrible experience at Ford in silver spring. We came here and well i wish we hadnt wasted our time with ford, Mr.Hassan and Fiance Ken treated us like family and make us feel sure of making this huge decision, we are glad we ended up getting our here instead. Over all our experience was great and i definitely recommend them. They took their time to answer everything and talk all about our options.
Great service from this Jeep dealership. Definitely felt comfortable letting these guys take care of the regular oil change because they are the dealership. Sydney set the right expectations and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while my Jeep was being serviced. Great stuff!
I cant believe it! I wish I had read this reviews before Taken my Dodge Grand Caravan to this dealer service department, as a right now I’m going through all this issues, I dropped my car for diagnostic 4 days ago, and I haven’t heard from them even when I call twice . But I will go to pick up first thing in the morning tomorrow, and not waste any other day with my car there at this place. And I can’t believe how they reply to all of this costumers that had leave a negative reviews. And just write apologies and bullshxxts, And offering a second chance, but obviously they don’t take action to fix their issues, and they don’t care to do better. FYI I don’t like to do this review but after experience this and see all this costumer with the same issues. Please used this reviews as a wake up call. To do better business. 11/4/19.
I am always greeted the moment I walk in the door. My family worked with Patricia King. She really listened to our needs and helped us pick the right car! Miss King is patient and provided a great experience for us. She is overall an awesome person!
Edit to add: Stephanie was polite and very understanding of my frustration. She offered to take care of my oil change and tire rotation. And to make sure the situation is addressed.I would give zero stars but google doesn’t allow it. Took my truck in 2 weeks ago to have the window motor checked. They had my truck all day to tell me it needed to be replaced but they didn’t have the part. They said they would call when it came in. They did not my husband had to call to see if it was there. Fast forward to today. I had an appt for 8am to have the window motor replaced an oil change and tire rotation. The truck was dropped off at 730am. My husband couldn’t reach anyone to at 230pm he went to check on the truck. They told him they were doing it now and would get everything done. At 5pm I called to check progress. Antonio told me they hadn’t started work, I informed him of my husbands visit and he said he would double check we were talking about the same truck. He got back on the phone and said they were finishing up and it should be done by 630 - only the window motor. I said this is ridiculous you’ve had the truck all day and you’re still not done. It takes maybe 2 hours to do a window motor. I called Cedric from service who sent Tony - the assigned service advisor to check on it. At this point was husband was off work and waiting for the truck. They pulled it out at 530pm with only the window motor done. Someone checked my husband out while tony sat in his office not even attempting to apologize to my husband. My husband asked to speak to Tony. My husband asked why he wasn’t informed of the delay tony said “I told you I would call you when it was done I don’t have time to Update you” my husband told him this was horrible customer service and tony responded “it is what it is”. I deal with Darcars ford so I know the service advisors job is to inform the client if their vehicle is delayed or update on progress. They are appalling at this location.
This lady Ronnie Ron is an awesome person I just love her kind personality and her will to help. She appears to go above and beyond. Management sit down and let her work her magic of SERVICE. Its been a long time since anyone took the time just to listen.I see why her reviews are so nice. They are perfect for her.Thank You Ronnie!
I almost never post reviews but just wanted to express my disappointment with their services.. I went there this morning.. Everything was fine.. They called me a day before to confirm my scheduled appointment.. At the morning I was quickly met by their manager Tony who told me that my vehicles repair will be covered by the warranty.. Hmm.. I thought.. Thats weird.. Cause my warranty expired long time ago.. I asked him to do diagnostics first ..and left my key and he replied -- THAT HE IS GOING TO CALL ME WHEN DIAGNOSTICS are ready.. When.. tomorrow, next month, next year? There where no answer.. Ill call ya.. Then Tony was very polite and offered me a free ride back home.. But their dropoff driver went in the wrong direction and I told him that according to my JPS he has to drive straight forward on Riverdale road .. But instead he turned left and we got lost and then he realized he put a wrong address.. After reading bad reviews I went back same afternoon and since the diagnostics werent ready (it usually takes a few hours to diagnose the car) I picked up the car and drove away..
7th time I have taken my broke vehicle that was under warranty to this location. They would keep the vehicle for a week and call me and tell me it was fixed, sure enough a month or so later it would break down again. Have lost my vehicle for 38 days in total they still have not fixed the problem. They tell me that there is nothing wrong with it but the vehicle keeps breaking down. The very last time I went there I was told “ we don’t know what’s wrong with it dog” so I took it to a private mechanic he charged me 230 dollars and fixed it in 4 hours. I highly recommend to anyone do not take your vehicle to this dealership. I honestly don’t believe they know what there doing.
I avoid writing negative reviews about places because I understand sometimes issues are no ones fault. This is a completely different case. I genuinely wish I could go back in time and never step foot in this dealership. The experience started great, my car salesman, Herbert, was friendly and knowledgeable. He set me up with a great Jeep. However, I have received terrible customer service since purchasing my vehicle and dealing with ANYONE else. In the three months since purchasing, my car has still not been registered. Ken Wright, the finance manager, actively avoids phone calls and text messages, and is never there whenever I have stopped by the dealership to talk to him. I purchased the vehicle on July 11, and that was the last time I have had an actual conversation with him. I have been extremely inconvenienced due to his inability to do his job or at the very least, answer my questions about when my vehicle will be registered. The last time I was at the dealership I attempted to speak to the general manager (Tim) as well, and he apparently wasnt there either. It seems as though there are never any employees present to provide even the bare minimum amount of customer service. Employees need to be held responsible if they are incompetent or refuse to do their job. There is absolutely no reason it should take over THREE MONTHS to title a vehicle. When I asked another employee what the issue was, I was basically told that it was my fault, because I provided a check in the wrong amount, however, what the employee failed to acknowledge is that the reason it was in the wrong amount was that the finance manager doesnt know how to deal with military members and tried to sell me a service he is legally unable to, resulting in him telling me the wrong amount. You would think it is in his job description to know what he is and isnt allowed to sell. And even IF that was the reason for the delay, I corrected that issue within two weeks (I was out of state on temporary military orders). No one will give me a straight answer on how long until my vehicle will be registered, and apparently it will take long enough that I am being told I will have to turn the vehicle back in until the issue is resolved. Completely unacceptable and unheard of. No other military member I have spoken to has ever had an issue like this, and I have purchased other vehicles from other dealerships with no delays. This issue is STILL not resolved. I have actively been advising friends, family, and coworkers in the area to NEVER purchase a vehicle from DARCARS of New Carrollton.
WisH I could have put 0 stars very unprofessional. They had my car for a whole week try to charge me with an diagnostic fee and they didn’t fix my problem with my Bluetooth it was under my warranty and everything and also under their warranty as well they fix it before at their shop no updates no response would periodically call up there and they would put me on hold . General manager TIM handled the situation unprofessional and disrespected me by raising his voice and putting his hands in my face will never ever go back to that place that’s not how you conduct business period
I have a true appreciation for GREAT customer service!!!!Today, I was honored to meet a Sales Rep Rhonda Hughes who provided me with not only great customer service but attention to detail, completely knowledgeable, and was able to provide keen information no matter what questions I asked. I did not make a purchase today but I will be RETURNING and I will personally ask for Rhonda Hughes to be my Sales Rep!!!Normally, this behavior is overlooked and not acknowledged so I encourage anyone/everyone that will be visiting this location please ask for Rhonda Hughes she is well worth your time AND will remind you that Great Customer Service still exists!!!!!!
Took my car for service tire pressure was not checked correctly pick up time was off by 2 hours The service department did not go through what type of service or what the vehicle needs.
Terrible customer service when i put my car here, Hold my car three days nothing done yet,and they yeld at me say dont bother them, come on this is how treat the customers?
I have never written a review before but I have to for this location because I was helped by Ceidrick and Emmanuel and they are the greatest people I have ever met working at a dealership. They felt more like family to me than salesman because of how caring they are. I was never worried that they were just trying to get money from me. Ceidrick went above and beyond to help me and I wish there were more people like him and Emmanuel working at dealerships. Please go see them they will do everything to help you!
IF I COULD DO ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! So I never in life and I dont care if this was the only dealership around !!! I will not never get my truck serviced in the dealership ever again! The unprofessional level of the workers and the GM(Tim) is mind blowing. I dont even know where to start.. And im not sure if I am being treated like this because I am a female but one thing this dealership will not do is play me like Im dumb! DO NOT GET YOUR TRUCKED SERVICED HERE!
I had an awesome experience with the purchase of my new jeep. The staff was very professional and courteous. They answered my questions and didnt play those car dealer price games. They were straight forward and made my buying experience comfortable and fast. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who would like to purchase a new vehicle without having to take a bottle of Tylenol after they leave.
If you value your time do not visit this service department. First, made an appointment at 8:15, got there and had to wait, finally flagged down someone and told them I had an appointment. I was told it would be 3-3 1/2 hour wait for an oil change and rotate tires! Are you serious, all this with an appointment. The customer lounge was packed, no room to sit. Went upstairs and waited on the sales floor. I couldnt take it, called an Uber and went home. Came back later that evening to pay, 3 other people were waiting. Cashier was missing in action, reappeared after 20 minutes. This place is very unorganized and poorly run. Needless to say, I will be traveling out of my way to Jeep of Bowie for my service needs.
My dad & I came out of here with a very positive experience . We went from having a KIA Optima 2015 Lease and came out with One Dodge Ram Finance & One Jeep Cherokee Finance. My sales man Tony & others in the Darcars team help us beyond our dreams. Work with us in our payment plans and delivered amazing services. They put in the work we needed. From beginning to end. Tony was extremely informative & knowledgeable of all the vehicles and made sure we were taking care of.I would recommend Tony Williams to anyone in the DC, MD Area. Head out and have a sit down with him. Thanks again guys for your amazing service.
They do not deserve a single star but unfortunately you have to put one in order to post a review. This is absolutely the worst place you can take your vehicle to get serviced. I dropped my truck off overnight last Monday, August 7th. I called them on Thursday to inquire about what may be wrong with my truck. The guy gives me the diagnosis and tells me its going to be a little over 1000 dollars. This is an absolute ripoff. I asked him to call my warranty company to see if that service is covered and to let me know what they say.I eagerly await a phone call being as though I had an appointment that following day and I wanted to make sure they began work on my truck. They never called me to let me know anything about my truck and when I finally get a hold of my service provider, he lies and says that he was waiting for me to call. Absolutely not!!!This entire week I have been calling and calling. They either put me on hold or told me that they will call me back. This never happens. I finally called them today, August 17, a whole ten days later, and my service provider just lets me know that they are working on it. When I asked him when it will be ready, he says he does not know. He had an attitude as if I was taking up his time. They have had my truck for almost two weeks and it is a huge inconvenience. I have never been so angry about service before. This place is wasting my time. I urge you all to read these terrible service reviews before you take your car to this place. You will regret it.
I had the pleasure of working with Glen Jones and I cannot say enough about the great experience at Darcars! From the moment he greeted my fiance and me to signing paperwork Glen made everything easy. He knew his product inside and out and was able to breakdown financing and get us a great payment! We had been to 3 other dealerships and I can tell you now without a doubt I am a Darcars customer for life! Thanks again Glen!
