We had a horrible experience with “Doris Morgan”. Felt like we were being interrogated and our answers to her questions were doubted. I explained how we did not get our stimulus amount for our dependents and rather than her saying “okay we will figure it out” she questioned me 5 different times throughout the process as if my answer was going to magically change that I somehow was lying. Also questioned why we went back to h&r after we filed with turbo the year before, in a rude way. Then when it came to asking for dependent information instead of asking how many dependents am I claiming, she states “how many kids you got, 4 or 5?” I was upset how she assumed and profiled me. This experience was so horrible and I will never go back because of this “tax expert”. Even the front office lady was shocked at how she treated us and apologized. Filing taxes should be simple and you shouldn’t feel interrogated or profiled to where they assume how many kids you have and your status. I had a gut feeling after meeting her that we shouldn’t file and after the 3rd time of her being rude, we just grabbed our papers and left and she said okay fine and left the desk. Doris also wasn’t even going to file our return that day, said she had others to get to and she would call us next week when she’d have it done, I’ve never left a tax office without knowing my return amount. I called after to complain to a manager and how horrible our experience was, was told she wasn’t available and never got a call back. We ended up going with a private tax accountant who answered ALL of our questions and educated us as well as had our return done in an hour.

I have used this office every year since 1993. I am now (this year) on my 5th tax preparer. I was extremely fortunate to have used only two different tax preparers from 1993 until 2006 ... 14 years.

This was the first time I was reaching out for help with taxes and it was a mistake. I showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment to be sure everything ran smoothly, and I ended up waiting 35 minutes, after my appointment time just to be told that the person I had an appointment with was behind and it would be another 40 minutes before she could even see me; while a man who walked in got seen right away for 10-15 minutes. Why even have appointments when you don’t respect people’s time? If someone is late they should either have their time cut or they should have to reschedule. The situation was handled unprofessionally and I’ll never waste my time or money here again.

The branch I went to was very professionally run and my tax preparer, Jamie, was great at explaining and walking me through the process. I highly recommend!

I have been coming to H & R Block for 14 years And they are always good.However this year They have bent over backwards To help me find my refund, And to help me figure out when it was coming Due to the IRS being so behind because ofEverything going on this year.They even started calling the IRS for me when I couldnt get ahold of them

Im not sure why, but this year for some reason H&R Block has royally messed up our taxes. Overpriced services and just starting to make a bad reputation for itself. Never going back.

I was helped by Carlota Lopez and she was a huge disappointment. First off she was very rude but I’m a patient person so I dealt with it, then starts talking about how she didn’t think it was fair that young people were coming in to get there stimulus checks because she never got one when she was young.. excuse me? This world is in a pandemic and I don’t remember a pandemic happening in your Stone Age years. Secondly, SHE MESSED UP MY TAXES!!! I paid $200 for her to mess up my taxes and she wouldn’t take the blame for it, why work at H&R Block if you can’t do your job right and constantly bitter??? Nasty attitude, wasted money, too overpriced and NEVER COMING BACK HERE!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD!!!

I’ve used H&R Block for years. Not every location is the same I’ve come to find out. Did my taxes here last year and have never paid $125 for my 1040 (I’ve always used the 1040). Come to find out this year after doing my taxes is because whom ever my tax preparer was decided to use a different form. Obviously at a higher charge. Buyer Beware!!!

The tax guy wasnt inviting. I was already having a bad day and i made it there and iy would have been nice to sit down with someone who wasnt so off putting. Also i came in there for an advance and got denied for my credit score. Thats total bs. My credit shouldnt have anything to do with a loan im asking for when theres guarentied money to be given back. So initally i waisted $300!!! To have some jerk file my taxes for me whdn i could have done it myself for cheeper.

*DO NOT USE H&R Block* Since my son is on his own now, I told him to go to H&R Block thinking it would be cheaper than our CPA, WRONG! Took them 15 minutes to do his return and they charged him $376, ridiculous! I called to complain and because of that they gave him a $100 voucher which he will never use, he will NEVER go back!
