How accurate is INFORMED DELIVERY APP. ? I HAD AN ALERT THAT A LETTER WAS TO BE HERE ON SATURDAY. IT NEVER SHOWED UP. IS THE APP INFORMED DELIVERY ACCURATE? OR IS THE MAIL BEHIND A DAY OR TWO?

Apparently this store is not accepting calls. I had to call another USPS in New Braunfels for a question about my package. Really would be nice to talk to a worker at this location and figure this out.
Almost every time I go to the this post office it is really busy but, despite this, Ive never had a negative interaction with any of the staff. Theyve always been friendly and know their jobs well. I ship some unusual things sometimes and theyve always been a big help selecting the services that were best for what I needed. Kudos

Worst post office I’ve ever had. I’ve lived all over the country for work and by far this is the most un-welcoming and unprofessional post office. I’ve received certified letters failed to deliver notifications where the postman did not even attempt delivery placed in my mailbox. I’ve inquired about Christmas presents that were lost somehow be found later requiring another trip to the post office. All during a pandemic where going out into public is not advised.

Had a package that was suppose to be delivered today. My package was delayed 2 business days. Reason for my 1 star review is because my tracking# updated saying “Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location” But my mail was able to get delivered (Bills/coupons). But they weren’t able to drop my package? Which the size it small enough to go in the mail box. Very unsatisfied with “USPS”

I cant say anything about anyone elses experience with this post office but in the last two years I havent had anything but fast, courteous assisstance. They are cheerful and helpful. They beat my old post office staff hands down!
Every time I go up to the post office something is wrong. This is the second time they have lost my package. I received a slip stating that my package would be held up there for 10 days. I went there on the second day and they said it was shipped back to the facility it came from! Staff is clueless and useless. The staff also needs an attitude adjustment.

Its a saturday morning. An the place is busy. The entire time i was waiting in line i was evaluating the three employees on their performances with the customers. All 3 employees were outstanding and going above and beyond with their greetings and their apologies for the wait time. I had an excellent experiece. Keep it up guys!!

Worst Post Office ever. Always a wait, long lines, understaffed, unfriendly workers, ask different people-get conflicting information. Carriers are routinely too lazy to walk up my driveway for items requiring a signature, so they leave a note stating they “weren’t able to” - nice try! I work from home full-time and am always available to sign. Have an issue with this or lost items or anything at all? It is made clear that no one cares. Awful place.
Terrible Post Office. I mail a package every 3 months to my kids in Japan using Click and Ship. This time they did not scan the package so they claim I never gave it to them when it was lost. My receipt and tracking number that I have does not count. When I went to the Post Office the Manager claimed it was my fault for not calling a supervisor when the clerk did not scan the package. Why would I pay $150 and not mail it?
They are always very polite and friendly. Wait time is not bad even with 6 people in line.

Its unfortunate that this post office has such a low rating on Google. The ladies that Ive seen working are always extremely welcoming, helpful, and thorough in their services. They treat me like a close friend/family member and I can honestly say that, out of the hundreds of post offices Ive been to in my life, this is [bar none] the best one.

Although in the past lines have been long and slow, recently staff have added other options to speed up service. My last few trips have been quick and efficient. Staff have always been courteous and knowledgeable.
I am on hold to speak to a person about the wrong key the postman put in my mail box for a package. I can not use the email because they do not like my browser, Safari. Service is non existent and the local number for the post office has a full mail box. How poetic!

I’ve lost count of how many packages have been “delivered”, but actually weren’t. I’ve lost count of how many packages I’ve received that aren’t mine. I took pictures of 2 pieces of mail with different addresses to the post office and filed a complaint. As another reviewer stated, I was told our streets are all very similar. I wish I could use that line at my job. The mail person leaves rubber bands all over the place when he delivers at the community box. My husband and I pick them up because we don’t like the thought of wildlife and neighborhood animals choking on them, not to mention it’s littering and we take pride in our home and neighborhood. Mail comes so inconsistently as far as delivery time. Our community mailbox was left wide open yesterday. I’m confused because tampering with other people’s nail is a federal offense, but they can leave it wide open like that? Called to let them know about it and of course nobody answers and instead of a machine or something, an automated recording says, “Memory full.” I tried calling the 1-800 number to make a complaint and got bounced around for 15 minutes through the automated system and never actually got to speak to anyone. I can’t fault them for the lines, except additional staffing might help. The clerks are borderline decent.
USPS needs to learn how to train their Mail carriers with just the basic level of common sense, we constantly have multiple peoples mail in our box so I cant imagine who else gets my mail as well. I was home one day that I had multiple packages Delivered, I opened them all up & noticed 1 Package wasnt there but was deemed Delivered. Within 5 minutes of delivery I drove down the road & politely asked the Carrier the issue & asked if he could verify if it was still in his truck, with little effort he looked over & looked back at me & said no. These Carriers only seem to care about getting off work ASAP, any other Job would have fired these lazy employees. Just had another Package deemed Delivered this week & what do you know... No package there again.
Dirt bags. Had 3 times in the last two months packages that either say delivered and never show up or say out for delivery and dont show up. Cant get anyone on the phone and the 800 number is full of the RUDEST people I have ever spoke to. Going to just order through UPS or Fedex, surprised there hasnt been an investigation from all these same reports on here.
The worst goverment facility staff I have ever encountered. All 3 times of having to deal with them have been atrocious. I would rather give child birth naturally with no drugs than deal with them.
I was at the post office prior to it opening on a Saturday. It was 10:01 maybe 10:03 and the employees opened up and were very welcoming and peppy for a Saturday morning...lol. They appologized for opening late and started welcoming people in and directing them on where they needed to go for specific services. I watched the workers and everyone was very engaged with their customer. Tony assisted me and he was very kind and helpful! He asked me how I wasand assisted me with a first time transaction. Tgis was a very pleasant experience. The customer service shown and provided wasexcellant!
The employees are all very helpful and polite . Always ready to help if you have any questions. I always leave from there with a smile...

Friendliest post office in America. I love the clerks! It is always very busy, but they are cheerful in the face of adversity - knowledgeable and helpful to boot. AND they respond to my daughters Santa letters on a very personal level. ❤️❤️❤️
If we could give these folks 0 stars it would be more appropriate. We own a business and take in mailers daily, the woman working behind the counter is not interested in doing her job. She only wants to put it off on someone else. Once I find out the post masters name, we will have a talk. If at all possible, use another post office. These folks obviously do not need their job.
If my life could exist without the USPS, it would be awesome. This place and the general handling of packages is abhorrent. I just received the worst one yet. Looks like some angry workers used it as a kick ball. Irreplaceable limited edition collectibles from Japan, kaput. Their claims process sucks for international packages and domestic. Their site is laughable at best. I normally refuse to have anything shipped through USPS, but for some reason they still have a footprint in this market. Off to the general manager I go. Avoid this place at all costs people. Even DHL is a step above this garbage service and thats saying something. You may feel that this review targets USPS as a whole, but thats not my intention. These people get paid to do a job. It shows a complete lack of giving a **** about something that you should give a **** about. Im dreading waiting in line just to refuse the package. I wish I could upload pictures to this comment to show you all the damage. The icing on the cake is the bull**** we care sticker that was slapped on the package. You know, right above the bright red FRAGILE sticker.

I buy and sell used books and use this post office almost every day. Sure, theres many times a wait, but never unreasonable. Super customer service. Many great clerks, courteous, smiling, professional. Anyone who says anything less is unhappy with life in general. Bring a book, visit with others. Give away genuine smiles to those who need one. Be the change you want to see. Lifes too short not to enjoy the journey!
This post office and there office workers are bald face f-in liars. Was suppose to get a package today post on there website tracking. (lie) Did not get and called post office to ask why and was told all kinds of sob stories as to why and that it would still be delivered. (another lie) Nothing was delivered. Wasted a whole waiting waiting on something that i was told would be there by them. Think they give a damn? (Not) another example of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing... I had a package to be delivered on the 24th of December. I was informed that my package was not delivered because they couldnt gain access. The package was to going to a business that is open 24/7. I called several times and waited for hours on hold only to be told that it would be delivered on the next business day. It is now January 7th and I have yet to receive my package or an update. Thanks for nothing. Side note: The package was a Christmas gift.
If I could leave a ZERO I would. They never get addresses right, my customers are constantly calling because they did not receive something I mailed out and let me tell you.... they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!! I have THE HARDEST TIME actually speaking to a human whenever I call and im ALWAYS ON HOLD for 45 minutes or longer EVERY TIME I CALL! Im going to start using FedEx as often as I can......the US postal service has gone down hill BIG TIME! What a shame, very disappointing.

Why dont they answer the phones? Ive tried calling & get a recording that states to enter 1st number of zero and then they hang up. Have not received my Oprah Magazine nor Texas Monthly, nor Golf magazine in several months. Need better service from the USPS!
The clerks here are great. They work really fast. I know just about all of them by name. This post office does get busy but I dont mind because I love the clerks here.
I can understand that there are a lot of packages to be delivered this time of year, but with all the porch thefts going on during Christmas your drivers would at least knock or ring the bell and not just throw the package on the porch and leave. I’m missing mail. I called to see if they were holding it and waited 40 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. No answer.Update: 2 years later - still won’t answer the phone. same lousy service. Waited in line to make a second claim for damage to a FRAGILE handle with care” package in 1 month. I haven’t heard back on the first claim. Local manager JoAnna now refuses to process damage claims - she now says all claims must be made on line.

Everytime I feel like shipping something for less than FedEx/UPS I dread coming in. Lines are long and Im hoping the clerk doesnt talk down to me for not knowing their procedures. The staff is unwelcoming but I guess thats how government programs work. If you have a dollar to spare youre better off with FedEx/UPS.. I know we pay our taxes but theyre useless.
Most unmanaged post office I have ever encountered. Not to mention, I scheduled a pickup and the guy never picked up the packages and then left the notice in my neighbors mailbox. Then had the nerve to mark the pickup as complete. I had to drop them off myself with my 1 year old and 3 year old in tow.
Went to pick up my mail, and found a vacant slip in my box. I dont pick up my mail every day. I dont have the time, nor the need to get it every day. Most of what I receive is junk. However, I do have important documents mailed to my home address for convenience. Most my other mail goes to a separate box I pay for. I have told them my job keeps me away for periods of time, and my work hours go before and long after they open and close. I was told I can just call to have them place my mail on hold. Lies. Phones dont work. I dont have time to go there every time I need my mail held. Sometimes I get told Im traveling somewhere with hours notice. Not to mention, the mail carrier has no issue dropping off my packages at my house. So why assume my residence is vacant?! Drive over there and check it out, or put two and two together! Now the one important document I needed is missing and I have to wait until Im allowed a day off to go over there and probably get no answers. Worst PO ever. The San Marcos one may be slow, but they always work with me. This one is just awful.

I am surprised at all the negative reviews. There are several individuals working there that go above and beyond to help. They are friendly and outgoing. I can honestly say I have NEVER had a negative experience and I am there every day mailing items for my business.
I have finally had my fill. This post office is easily the worst post office in the entire country. Packages & mail consistently late, lost, and stolen- when you go to complain, it falls on hostile, deaf ears.
Only way to get help is to go in person and yell... carrier can not help. calling is a waste of time call your local number not the 800 number .. they are understaffed at all times.

I called that agency and they told me that they sent a package more than a month ago, they also provide a tracking number. Thats how I found that a note was left by my door! Aha... I wish!!! I was very nervous, because I knew if the package has not been claimed for 30 days PO will send it back. How wrong I was! This USPS is SO LAZY and SO SLOW. Well, I drove to post Office, stood in the line with other unhappy customers, heard the similar stories. A female Post Office worker didnt really care of a word I said! IT IS A NOT FIRST TIME!!!! Tried to call to speak to someone at this location and it’s not possible. Automation system is garbage. This is why the private sector will always be better than anything run by the government. Unfortunately we have to use usps for our son’s passport.

A miserable post office. Yes, some of the folks behind the counter are pleasant and well trained however, they are usually overwhelmed since the post office is habitually understaffed. Others working the counter are totally inept. Visiting this place is almost always an experience in frustration.
The letter carrier made no real attempt to deliver my package. Stated the roads in the neighborhood were not usable due to weather. Dropped it off at the front sales office. It took me 90 seconds to drive up and retrieve my package. Roads were fine. Drove up in less than 5 minutes from them calling me about the package. Their procedure is to deliver it to the house. This is why the US post office will continue to fail and be crushed by FedEx and UPS. I recommend congress close them down now!
This post office is a joke. I went through the screening process. Passed The background check, passed the drug test, got hired on and told I would receive a call letting me know when I would start but should be in a few days. After days of trying t get through to them, finally someone answered and the name of the person who hired is on break, can I take a message. Left a message and they said hold on, then someone else started talking and told me that person “doesn’t work there or exists”. Wow. Haha. At least get yalls stories to match.

Always a problem with this place. Packages not delivered. Cant get anyone to answer the phone for help after calling 10 times. I called the main usps line and told them that they lost my package and I havent heard anything from them in days. They send off new people to deliver without the proper training and then dont do anything to fix their mistakes. Update: my package has been lost for over a week and no one has contacted me after making a claim. This is f***ing ridiculous!!Update: this place is still losing my stuff. If I could give them zero stars, I would!!
On more than one occasion packages have not been delivered in a timely manner. With tracking I know that the package is in the mail truck but it doesnt get delivered. One time the carrier had the audacity to post that delivery was attempted while I was home. No signature was required. On several occasions the carrier has made a u-turn and come back to make s second drop. Again today a package shows out for delivery an hour after the rest of our mail was delivered. For what shipping costs this is not acceptable!!
Frustrated that our neighborhood mail box console got left wide open for everyone to see into (and take out of if they were dishonest). I tried calling the post office phone number to report it but it would never go through. Then I drove to the post office and the line was out the door. The little side door where you can pick up packages closed at 3:30 pm, so I couldnt talk to anyone that way either. They need about three more clerks at the counter to keep people from waiting so long. I DO want to say, however, that times I have been to mail packages and had to wait in line, when I got to the counter, the clerks that they DO have at the New Braunfels location are friendly and helpful (about the only positive thing I can say).
I am very disappointed in the mail person, I havent had nothing but issues. Every time I have a package being delivered it says out for delivery and then I dont receive it. It says its being held at the office. My address is correct because I always check and its still sent to the post office. I just dont understand stand it. I have 2 packages that were being delivered and nothing. It jus upsets me so much on this.
Dont bother calling, they will not answer. The parking lot is a nightmare, The clerks inside are very nice and couterios after average wait in line 25 minutes. Do we need another in New Braunfels? Yes, we have outgrown this very small post office years ago.
My packages are frequently delivered to the wrong addresses. Thankfully homeowners are honest and bring the packages to my front door. I have also had packages that are not mine delivered to my house. My neighbors say that the mail service is terrible and they often have mail missing. I complained and still did not receive my last package. Whomever answered the phone at the post office on Seguin Ave. made excuses by saying the name of my street is similar to the name of another street in the neighborhood. Accept ownership, hire the right people, and train properly.
Our mail on more than one occasion has been put in someone elses mailbox. Sometimes we get our mail other times our mail is never found. Today I received my mail from someone else that was opened. The mail clearly had my names on it and still these people opened my mail. Luckily I got my stuff today. Im afraid that if it was something that they would have liked I might not have gotten my stuff back.

I requested the Supervisor and was informed that there wasn’t one available. Another time, the worker made a mistake with our key box, we were contacted to return the key. When I attempted to do that, I was hit with the rudest woman who again rolled her eyes at me and said she couldn’t help me. I asked for a Supervisor and was again told there wasn’t one. After stating that I was not moving until someone helped me, because remember, they called me to bring the key back in, she finally went to get a Supervisor. Another time, we went in to mail something. One female worker was there. We asked to please borrow a pen, and her response was that she’s going to lunch. She walked away and we didn’t see her again. Are you serious? This place is a disaster.
This post office held one of my packages for more than a month. I live over 5 hours away and have no way to go down there. They don’t answer their phone and when they do, they will hang up on you. Goodluck to anyone who isn’t local.
This post office is a nightmare!! Confirms packages as delivered when they were never delivered to the right address. I have been trying to call the post office for 3 days and they will NEVER answer their phone!! It just rings and rings. I am several states away and can not drive there to inquire about the package which they lost. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!

I ordered something for my wedding last year and for some odd reason i didnt get my shipment and i went over to the post office to see what was going on or if they could do something about this but all they did was check if the shipment was there and then got my contact info saying that someone was going to contact me when no one ever did! Careless people seriously... i mean this was something important to me and i even told them what i have ordered....
Typical post office stamp machine down 50%. Of the time simple stuff that could be automated, long lines any time of the day. Just laugh at their tracking system usps tracking = It leaves and then its their. Heck I know it left . My idea of tracking is like when your a kid tracking Santa you can follow the route
I previously wrote a review, but decided that I would not put all that negativity out into the Universe. Now Google wont let me delete it; it would only let me edit. So, its an okay post office. I had a negative experience which was staff related. My advice to anyone having live animals (ie chicks) shipped to this post office - show up at the back door early on delivery day - dont expect the online tracking will show delivered - dont expect a phone call. Both of those things might not happen. :-/
I received notice that my package was delivered and NOOOO package in my mailbox. Not sure where the postal carrier put the package this time! Have tried for HOURS to reach someone at post office, NO ANSWER EVER! We get other peoples mail in our box constantly. Get someone to deliver mail who can read please!!!!!! Get a telephone system where tax payers can actually talk to a human!!!!!!!!

Was supposed to get a package monday, didnt get so i tracked the package. It said delivery address not accessible. But i still got my regular mail. So i called tuesday when i noticed mail was running late, they assured me my package would be delivered by 8pm. Its now 8:20.
Whats the point of having a phone if your not going to answer and send everyone to voicemail? Then I go in and there is a lady just greeting people as if she couldnt pick up the phone to answer questions so people dont drive all the way to the post office to be told they dont have all the information they need. Then I ask to get a key for my new house so I can get my mail they ask me if I have had any bills with the new address...if I dont have a key to the mailbox how the hell can I have a bill with the new address? Then they send me back and forth to the closet utility office because they didnt think the first document with my name and service address and account information was legit enough to prove I live there
We live in Copper Ridge and I am so tired of having mail from other streets and different house numbers left in my mailbox. This happens 2-3 times a week. On Monday we had a package delivered that had some pretty expensive contents - unfortunately the carrier left it at some other street on the front porch of a house with ALSO a different house number. Thankfully, the homeowner was kind enough to drive to my house and deliver the package. I wonder what else I am not receiving.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I recently moved to New Braunfels and Ive had nothing but issues from the mail company. I have had mailed directly mailed to my address, not through a forwarded address, and Im currently missing two checks and a credit card. Have recently set up cable and Internet, and I wasnt receiving my bill so missed the first months payment. When I was able to call and get a hold of a supervisor she just said theres nothing I can do Im not seeing any mail. This is absolutely rediculous and I am shocked at how so much valuable information can be lost. I really wish the United States had another option for male carrying, because these guys are incompetent
They do answer the phone first thing in the mornings... and they tell you to call back in the afternoon. I have a package that was not delivered though tracking shows that it did. They told me that the person on my route that day gave the package to his supervisor and that they could not find the supervisor and please cal back if you dont get it by late afternoon. Late afternoon, the phone is off the hook. It is not busy, it is off the hook. I had the operator check... no voices on the line. 502pm the phone started to ring again, though of course no one answers. I am still waiting on them to respond and have filed a complaint with USPS Consumer affairs (I encourage folks in my spot to do the same!)I have had issues with the folks in that building before. They are rude and dismissive and lazy. I have actually had a lady in there tell me that she didnt have time to go and look for something that she admitted was misfiled. It was a time sensitive document that was overnighted to me due to its time sensitive nature. She told me that it was no more time sensitive to me than what the person behind me had to do in the post office and that I should come back the next day after they had had a chance to look for it.I have put my mail on vacation hold and had it piled in my box when I got back. I have gone days with no mail at all only to have the mail from the missing days show up all at once and be too much to fit in the box resulting in a notice in the box that I had to go to the PO to pick up my (mostly junk) mail. That time, when I got to the front of the three person line, I was reprimanded by a kid half my age for not checking my mail every day.My carrier is a peach... no complaints about him, just that the schedule they have him on has my mail being delivered normally at the very end of the business day or later but that is not his fault, that is the fault of the post master or not having the staff in the places where they need to be.If the package (or letter) is important to you... dont mail it through this office or have it mailed through this office to you.
I ordered and tracked my package.The info said will arrive on time by 8 PM mon 4-2-18 then recieved a notification that receptical was blocked at 6:45 PM..funny thing is that the location is a 6 acre shop at which I was personally waiting for said package from about 4:45pm till about 8:15 pm not only was the gate wide open on F.M 725 but I was personally standing outside talking with employees for about 2.5 hours..just dont lie about such things and say the receptical was blocked 100% false...
I was on vacation here and the driver on river Road (ac3) was extremely helpful with giving me instructions to go to the post office and receive my package. I have never had this kind of service at any post office near my home in New Jersey.
Always very busy! Have to wait at least 30 minutes. But the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Made a mistake and sent my package to another city and took an extra day to send it back. I could have got my package 2 days ago but they decided that they wanted to take extra time to send it back to the right city. How do they f*** up something so bad.
If i could give it less then a star i would, staff is unwelcoming, their rude as hell and when asked for help for the mail that they lost they try and Blame it on you giving attitude and rolling their eyes or any help at all their extremely rude about it. Plus the place looks nasty. I know mailing isn’t the best job but it pays a lot so if you don’t like your job find a new one!!!
I came to drop of a package, was a bit sceptical since its in a busy area, but it was the fastest service I have ever received and best usps service Ive seen in awhile.

Packages are continually delivered to the wrong address. Package says delivered on the 13th and we still have not received it. This is the 5th time this has happened and no one has fixed it! Ughhhhh get your s**t together!!!
Kudos to the man who brought the package on his motorcycle today, even though the regular mail truck missed it.
