Drove over there for a state inspection on a Friday at about 8:15 am. It took about 15 minutes and I was on my way. Been there twice and each time I was warmly welcomed and repairs were done quickly and professionally.

I was driving from San Antonio to Austin and I needed to stop to get oil checked. They confirmed I only needed to fill oil levels with a quarter of oil. I was great to get an honest opinion at a low cost so I could continue my trip. The owner was very friendly and also checked and leveled tire pressure at no additional cost.

After being a customer for a few years they lost my support today.It just happens that strangely my rear suspension was completely loose and just found out after the 30 day warranty. Funny how that and a rear caliper with 2 bolts all came loose by themselves. Instead of hey let me check what happened no they wanted to just charge me to do it all over again...why would I trust them with my car again...taking my money somewhere else that I can trust and takes responsibility

We always bring our vehicles to Aaron and his crew. Was recommended to us when we moved here in 2014, and they have yet to disappoint. Trustworthy, and only do repairs that are needed. Had them baseline my sons first car when we bought it. They will recommend other shops for work if needed. They have worked on my Hondas, my Subaru, and my Mazda. Plus they have a shuttle service. Honest auto repair specialists like Schertz Car Care are hard to find.

I have taken my sons truck to Schertz Care Care Center twice now. His Tacoma has 245K miles on it. Aaron is always extremely honest and ensures only the repairs that are needed are performed and paid for. This last time they couldnt replicate the issue. Even though they spent two days troubleshooting the issue Aaron charged me nothing and thoroughly explained to me what to look for if it does happen again to help them determine the cause. He even spent an extra 30 mins with me explaining to me how I could save some money on replacing my sons 3 CATS taking some money out of his own pocket if i ordered it myself and brought the parts to him. I cannot recommend Aaron and the service at Schertz Care Csre Center highly enough. Thank you everyone at Schertz Car Care Center and we will definitely be back to you guys when we need you!!

They took every opportunity to offer fair and diligent prices and service. Their shuttle service gave us a ride to the hospital (a bit outside their usual driving area) and they were able to repair our vehicle same day. It required a piece to be ordered and picked up from downtown. We went back the next day for an oil change on a second vehicle because we were so impressed. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is wary of being ripped off or taken advantage of. These guys do a great job and deserve lots of repeat business.

Brakes were absolutely gone on my brothers truck. Showed up here without any advance notice. I tried to warn them how bad the brakes actually were... but even they couldnt believe how shredded the entire system had gotten. The entire brake system needed replacing, and this was no surprise to me nor was it an over-estimation by them. However, much to my surprise, they were still able to get the entire job done that very day before close. The bill was more than I wanted it to be, but in all honesty, more than fair for the work done. Well mannered, fast, knowledgeable, honest and fair. What else could you want?

Youve been warned!! I took my Chevy Cavalier in for basic front end alignment for around $60-$70. They tried to turn it into $1500 job. (Thats more then the car is worth.) They took me into the shop & showed me a ball barring in between the rim & the spindle. So they replaced the spindle (which has roller bearings not ball bearings). They took me for $300 & the friggin car still pulled to the right when I got it back. They wouldnt warranty the alignment since I wouldnt spend $1500 on parts for the back wheels that so they said Are making the front tires ware out faster & the car pull to the right. And that spindle that was replaced is perfectly good. So I took it home with me & its in my garage. Anybody need a drivers side front spindle for a 2000 cavalier? I have one you can have for free!! HOW IN THE HECK IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS???

I honestly would only give one star..we have spent Thousands upon thousands here. First however I will say that they are very nice to their customers and the work appears to be of quality...However . Far too Expensive for the work that was done to my vehicle and also things were done that in my whole hearted opinion shouldnt have been simply because some things werent the issue to begin with and not in need of mandatory repair or replacement for they were in working order in their present state.. Also I was not asked if the items in question could be replaced per their Recommendation..They just Did it and added it to the ever so growing Labor Cost.. The Labor for the work done on my vehicle exceeded the actual coast of the Parts by about thirty percent ..Considering That alone I would have Greatly appreciated it if they would have asked to make certain repairs/replacements before actually doing so.. Honestly Im just not happy with the Cost of the Work that was done. Also I feel that I was not told the truth about the Scope of work performed on my vehicle after I Myself inspected my vehicle .. With all do Respect I left feeling like me and my family was Once Again Taken Advantage of because we have pretty much always just Paid the bill no questions asked and they know that.. we have been to their shop quite a few times and we are Good Paying Customers that have always Paid our Bill in Full with no problems.. Like I said I just feel like we were taken advantage of and Definitely Over Paid for the work Performed and thats not how I would want my Clients feeling upon dealing with me if it were my business ..Upon Reading the other Low Scoring Reviews I must say That it is Ironic and I dont feel that its just a Coincidence that other Customers had pretty much the Same Complaints Concerning the Price and actions of this establishment... They were very communicative with my husband during our car issues and did the job well.

I used to take my car here for a few years. But I ended up installing a CAI and 3 header back exhaust. I went to go get an inspection and the guy came out turned on the car and instantly turned it off shook his head saying no no no then said sorry I cant pass you car goes rumble to much then no no goodluck Not very sure he just failed me for a reason he couldnt tell me why. Anyways call 2 other places and told them and they said that its not a problem at all. Ended up going to the closest one to me at the time. And got it done without question. I would love to come back to this place to have work done but that moment discouraged me completely from coming backNegative he did not find a leak as a matter of fact he never once looked he went solely off sound which the car had no issues. Dont feed me your information of state laws when youre literally the only company to fail this car. Your guy had no idea what he was doing he just started the car and instantly said no because of a sound he was not expecting. Like I said NO LEAKS NO PROBLEM the car is fine. Trash company.

Buyer beware. Took my vehicle in for an estimate on front breaks. They told me one of the calipers had seized and needed to be replaced. So for pads and rotors on both fronts and, one caliper he gave me an estimate of $716. I decided to do the job myself with my neighbor. The caliper was functioning fine and did not need to be replaced. Plus I was able to purchase the same parts at Auto Zone for $170 less than what he wanted to charge me.

Went for a state inspection in a pinch. Was told $7 pass or fail... no problem I get it. But being told I failed over a torn rear wiper blade.... come on it was like 1/4. Just seemed like fishing for more money to me!

They got my 2005 Honda all ready for a trip to Michigan and my Accord ran like a new car on my trip. I trust them.

The accessory belt (alternator, water pump, engine fan, power steering pump) on my 2002 BMW 530i failed on my way to work earlier this week. I pulled over, checked Google Maps, and found that Shertz Car Care Center was only 0.5 mi away. I gave them a call to see if they could fit me in on short notice. I spoke with Francisco, and he said that they would inspect the car as soon as it got there. The tech found that the belt blew due to a failed idler pulley and said it could be fixed in a few hours. I needed to get work, so I could not sit around and wait for the repairs. To my surprise I was offered a complimentary shuttle ride to and from work (6 miles away). By mid afternoon, my car was fixed, the shuttle was sent to pick me up once I got off work, and that was that.I am extremely pleased with Shertz Car Care Center! Francisco (front desk) and the shuttle driver (didnt catch her name) were both very friendly and professional. The shops hours, 7am-6pm M-F, 7am-2pm Sat, and the shuttle service made it very convenient for me to drop my car off, go to work, and get back before closing time. I highly recommend Shertz Car Care Center!

Ok, first off Id like to say that Ive spent thousands of dollars with this company and have been loyal for going on 2 years. Now, issue arose when I took my Dodge Ram in as my boot was leaking on my CV axel on the drivers side. Now, knowing what can happen, I purchased the entire CV axel to have replaced which was quoted over 200 bucks. Well, after 3 days in the shop, I was told they cant get the tool to remove the piece that goes from my CV axel to transmission and that I would have to replace the boot. Not what I wanted to do but said ok as I was at their mercy and was told by their service advisor Francisco thats all they can do. (shoulda been my indication then.)Bought the dealer part (Rubber Boot) and had them replace it. 2 weeks later, I notice my boot is off. I took it back, they then said that I have to replace the CV axel and they now have the tool. The shop then said it was my part, not the labor. Now, if someone could explain how a rubber boot can fail and pop off unless not installed properly please let me know. Anyways, the shop owner Louse, said I would have to pay another 200+ for labor only to replace the axel now. I bought the axel, but I refuse to pay additional to this company for labor as I was under the advice of their service advisor Francisco to replace the boot cause they COULDNT replace my CV axel, but now they can. Additionally its a matter of 6 bolts, 5 lug nuts and 1 axel bolt to replace the CV axel. Ive already been quoted from another place for 125 for labor to fix this issue. I refuse to ever spend another dime with this company and will consider looking into legal matters to obtain a refund (small claims) and will report this to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) which I do not believe they are a BBB accredited shop. Even their Website states they will give service like it used to be, Dedicated Customer service, Highest standards of the Automotive service profession and a system for fair settlement should a complaint arise. Ive seen none of that. Yes, I said my fair share of words as Im out money and have used this shop several times and got Louis the owner saying to me Fork you( Im sure you can guess what was really said) you piece of crap. Of course I asked, why am I a piece of crap, cause your a piece of crap he replied. (again not exact dialogue.) If going to an auto shop and following the advice from the advisor when their advice was not the appropriate measures qualifies someone as a piece of crap, then this definitely is not a quality repair shop. Ive never in my life had such horrible customer service. Considering Ive been loyal to this company and this happens. Do yourselves a favor, findanother shop.Their website has the BBB logo yet if you look them up, they are NOT a BBB accredited business.
