Friendly service and a fair price for the log splitter I used for the day. Tim walked me through starting and operating it. Would highly recommend using this place for rentals.

I was trying to order an auger for the next morning and the owner told me to come early and he never showed so I left and went to home depot. Its also ran out of a storage facility which was kind of unprofessional in my opinion. His prices were also much higher.

I have rented from Tool Time Rental from time to time and have been given good service for what I needed. Keep up the good work. :)

Would give zero stars if I could. Rude owner, unsafe equipment and difficult to get into the business property. Run out of a self rental shed with no business name or sign on property. Should have left when we realized this upon arrival. Rental unit property has a locked gate with a no working buzzer. Owner apparently has to wait for you at the gate when he is expecting you and open it from the inside. We didn’t realize this until we tried to return our equipment at noon which is when it was due. Couldn’t get into the gate and we had left our phones at home. I literally had to crawl through a 10 inch gap that I found in the gate to notify the owner in the rental shed that we were there. I was very nice to him and friendly despite the inconvenience, but rather than getting an apology from him he was hostile and proceeded to yell at me for not having called him when we arrived which was never discussed. When I told him that we did not have phones with us and did not know that was what we were supposed to do he started to swear at me saying things like “Why would you &@$)$ do that?”, “Why wouldn’t you have your phone with you?”.I asked what he would do if we didn’t own phones and he ranted “don’t @$&&-& lie to me - you called me on it earlier.” On top of all that, the equipment he rented to us was dull as a butter knife. Could not even cut through the tall grass that we went over multiple times and as slow as the equipment would go. Half of the grass got cut and half of the grass just got knocked down. He also mentioned upon renting the equipment that the brake sometimes “had a little trouble“, which apparently means it doesn’t work. We found that out as we were using the equipment and had no brake on the cutter. Who rents lawn cutting equipment without a brake? Crazy –Save yourself the hassle and rent elsewhere.

Tim has a very good variety of tools at a very fair price. Hes a very good person to deal with.
