We’re from out of state and needed a tire repaired after experiencing a flat on the Interstate on Sunday night. First thing Monday morning Mike surveyed the damage (the tire was beyond repair), recommended a used tire he had that would fit our 4Runner, mounted it, and had us all set in 30 minutes. I took my Cobalt here for many years to get the oil changed, filters replaced, etc. and was never overcharged. Always offered fair, great service and quick service times. I quit going here in about 2014 or so and have since bought a new car. Last week I needed help with my tires and remembered this Firestone. They took care of me in an hour on a Saturday morning when they were very busy, and it was a very fair price. They are still just as good as I remember them years ago.

After taking my vehicle, twice, to a local dealer to try and have them find my oil leak, with no success, I decided to give them a try. Immediately they found what was causing my leak and gave me a heads up on the price. Very sweet people to deal with and pretty up front and honest with me. Will definitely use them again.

I always feel like i have been treated fairly and honestly when i visit Mike Smith Firestone for auto services.

I was reluctant to go back because of a previous experience I had, but it was close to work and I need an oil change. I regret my decision very much. Last time I took my car for a change they charged me $25 (even though the sign outside says $19.99). I told him he could top of the fluids if it wasnt too high. They called me when it was done. One of the worst phone conversations ever. The owner talked down to me like I was stupid. He went on to tell me everything that needed (according to him it was a lot). I told him I wasnt interested, I then asked how much we were at. He started by saying the oil change was $35. $35??? That jumped up. When I asked why it went up he told me I was wrong. When I asked what the total was he told me if you let me talk little lady I will let you know. He called me little lady way too many times. The then told me my total was $50!!! When I let him know that it wasnt right he hung up on me. I have what happened next on video. You would be shocked.

Rip off artists. Gray-haired guy with a thick mustache pretended to be helpful while pressuring me to let them dig deeper to find my problem, then told me if they took a caliper off theyd have to replace it because they arent made to just go back together When I finally just said no way Ive got to get out of here, they held my car hostage for a $40 checkout fee for literally looking at the car for five minutes. Be warned, beware.

Not pleased with this visit and I have had great experiences in the past with this location. I paid $30 for a service that 2 weeks later ended up needing to be replaced. Not happy!

I am new to New Albany. I love the town and Ive had to stop at Mike Smiths a couple times. Initially I didnt end up needing anything except how to parallel park (Ive been rubbing the curve and literally knocking the air out of my front passenger side tire. Both times I went there the treated me like a regular customer. They are so friendly! Expecially the young fella that has put air in my front tire both times. Thank you folks for being there and being so kind!

This shop is the most racist car service place Ive been. They talk to and treat colored customers like trash. I will not be returning to this place whatsoever

Tried to get a grasp of what I wanted here, but was kind of shoved aside. I guess you shouldnt question their recommendations. Then the price they gave me was $20/ea more than the MSRP of the tire I inquired about. They didnt know I had already looked the price up at Firestone online.Just because a tire is popular, doesnt make it a good tire.Cant recommend them if your too inquisitive. They seem to do well with robots though based on the comments I see.

I Had a flat this morning so I stopped by for a new tire. Was told that mine would be 149.99. The normal place I go is only 89.99 so I told him I would wait. I asked if I could change my tire to my spare so I didnt damage my rim, I was told no. That i wasnt aloud to change it on his lot, That i would have to pull over to wicks. Obviously Im not EVER returning to a business that doesnt know how to treat others the way they want to be treated. Id advise any customer to steer clear of this establishment. Haha steer.

First off we are a local company and we try to spend our money in our community. we grew up around Jeff New Albany Clarksville.. i called because i needed Firestone tires. we were quoted 150 a i thought that is cheap for 10 ply truck tires i looked them up on google price was a little less than if i ordered them in.. so we dropped the truck off so the 2 new tires could be installed.. i got a call to pick up the truck and now the price is 420 plus tax that is a 120 dollar increase wow... when i can get those tires right down the street from another Firestone dealer for the price i was quoted.... or order then in my self... never again mike smiths Firestone... this is why we have so much trouble... in life... with money services an when asked what i do for a living i responded i do property preservation construction.. oh i see ... as if all construction companies no matter how large or small are all Frugal or cheap as he implied. i understand he is an independent dealer.. but 2 over charge his community and not even offer a complementary cup of coffee... ill say this they are kind and appear to want to help but if you want to over pay then Go see them at Mike Smiths Firestone in New Albany Indiana

Great service, long time customer

So when I was a kid wasnt givin much opportunity for advancements but was asked to get more tools everytime the truck came by which set me and my girl back from put apartment and all bills.I was shocked when I saw them changing a timing belt out for a customer when it wasnt needed in fact it looked like brand new which it was a couple thousand miles ago she asked to see the old one and they took it to the bench grinder and ground off teeth right in front of me I had my degree in automotive for two years worth of school from a local community college I new better, the lady was taken for her money hate to say I ever worked for crooks, now as a businessman myself for overv12 years looking for all positive reviews which I have this just sickens me to see they have the same practice mike and the managers arent very honest.

I dont use them much, but many do and I am glad they are here. They cant fix everything, but they will do what they can.

The sign on the front of the store indicated $15 for an oil change after grabbing a bite to eat I return to the store. I was handed a bill for double that then the customer representative told me to stop being cheap. I was told the expense was for the removal of a skid plate and disposal fees which were not expressed initially nor communicated up front. Watch out for this place unprofessional and deceiving

Typical scam artists. Have a sign up that says oil change up to 4 quarts, 14.95. After they do my oil change (4.3 quarts) its 30, and when I ask trucks are the cheapest at 19.95 and mine was more because of more oil. What a load of bs.
