My carrier has not delivered my mail in weeks. I called today and the “Carrier Manager” was rude and made an excuse for the carrier that delivers mail on Christian Rd. I have lived at the home for 8 years and have had nothing but issues. The manager said that the carrier did not read the individual change of address form correctly. That is all well and good but I have not received mail in weeks and have been caused an inconvenience because now I have a legal hearing as my mail was sent back as undeliverable and a check that I needed to pay for my child’s school was sent back. So this as the manager said is not a small MISTAKE. This is not acceptable. The repeat problems and issues in 8 years I have had is not acceptable. And the manager saying sorry, well that is not good enough either.

I sent a birthday card to my daughter with a gift card in it on April 6, 2021 to New Hampshire. It is now April 28, 2021 and she never received it. I see other people have written on here that envelopes with gift cards disappear. Very upset as I wish I read these reviews before I sent my card. I would have never sent from Naugatuck Post Office and for sure will not make that same mistake again!

Terrible service both post offices in Naugatuck are full of part time slackers I’ve lived in Naugatuck for just over 20 years at this point this is a reoccurring problem. I’ve never seen people so stupid before in my life every time I go down there I have to explain to them what to do and how to find my mail… they are useless. It’s good to know all my tax dollars go to pay these minorities that can’t even do there own job

Ordered something that needed to be signed for; home both times on the other side of the wall but no knock and no package. Other mail came fine both days strangely. Was told construction was cause the first time but construction doesnt block the 3 ways to my house... Second time no excuse just left a note. Really?

The staff at the Water Street Naugatuck are great!!!!Most of all Vern that works the front is one of the best!!! Dont ever loose her. My mailman is an 10 also so dont change the Maple Hill Road mailman!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

I live out of state and sent out a package to my grandson on July 28th. I was told after paying shipping that the package would arrive to him on Friday July 31st. I received a notice yesterday saying that there was no access to delivery the package. That is absolutely absurd because I have sent many packages to his address many times and never had a problem.Well here we are a week later and the package has not been delivered yet.

The people who work here are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. However when you mail items from the post office, you have an expectation of that mail being delivered. Unfortunately we have had two experiences in which mail containing check payments were never received. Both were to businesses. One was a rent check mailed in more than enough time. The result was a significant fine. Now we are forced to hand deliver the check each month. Expectations not met!

I have been enjoying going there since they got rid of 2 employees .

I believe that the staff there is great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I have always received fast, reliable service.

Mailman is infamous for leaving our mail in other mail boxes and giving us the people down the streets mail. If you have an issue, post office tells you to take care of it yourself and hangs up. I now have to find a way to hunt the mailman down for taking something he shouldnt have cause he wasnt paying attention.Id go back to sending messages via pigeon if I could, theyd be more useful.

Any envelope sent with a gift card in it seems to disappear.

Great ! Every Time I Call The Post Office Their So Nice And Helpful. They Always Get My Packages To Me On Time Or Earlier Than Expected. They Have To Come From Springfield Mass. Since They Closed The Connecticut Center Down. But They Make Them On Time. And My Postman Is As Nice As Mr. Mcfeelly From Mr Rogers Neighborhood. This post office tampers with any mail that seems to have a gift card in it. I have proved it time and time again with amiibo card trading. Trading with cards from different places of the world but all of the ones I get are bent and opened. As of recently on june 13th mail man came at my home around 1:30pm I was expecting a ring I bought for my wife that didnt arrive and then says delivered at 2:38 pm. they have no idea what im talking about and that I should take it with the seller.

While standing at the counter being helped by one of the ladies there who was .... helpful. I heard another worker being very blunt and not helpful at all...pretty rude to the man. All he wanted to know was why his P.O. box had a block on it still when he mailed out a check. She basically told him i dont know, we didnt get your check yet. And that was it! Not even bothering to look into it for the guy. Way to be a a b****

I sent out a package from my business as I always do this has been the fifth time that they lost my package every time I go there they say you should have insured the package- the item cost two dollars and they want me to ensure it which is going to cost me $4. I Rather use ups or feDex.

Why do they never ring my bell or knock to deliver my packages but then have the nerve to say the delivery was rejected. They suck!

Rude staff and incompetent employees never smile.

My pkg was delivered to the correct USPS, Naugatuck and in their infinite wisdom they sent my package to the waterbury USPS. I have resided at the same address in NAUGATUCK for close to fifteen years. I called and they said I had a forwarding address on the package, which I DID NOT. THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Helpful, friendly, efficient service

So I called to tell them that I did not get a package that the company said was delivered to my mailbox and it never was. They answered the phone and after I said about how I never got my package they put me on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up. The postal system in Naugatuck sucks. I always get someone elses mail or package at least 3 times a month.

Already lost 3 of my packages
