I dont know what Clifton did to my computer, but I love it. I think he said something about rebuilding the operating system. All I know is that each time I bring my computer here it runs like new. Ive been to a few other places that werent as good. The prices for their services (for my laptop) are more than fair; and Ive enjoyed their customer service. I didnt want to sound too biased so I waited a few weeks so I wasnt only writing this because I was so happy to go from being afraid Ill have to buy another computer and having all my data back with a perfectly running computer.

I was very disappointed with this company. We chose them because they were close. However they did offer to pick up our machine which was a nice offer. After dropping our computer off they said they would work on it the next day and would get back to me. Several days later, I had not heard anything. I made a call in the morning to ask about it. They couldnt give me any answer. A few more days later, I once again called to ask about it. And again, couldnt give me answer. I recieved an email saying the machine was ready more than a week later. I went back to pick it up. They took my money and said it was fixed. When hooked up, nothing had changed. We called them back to seek further resolution. Unfortunately, the only offer they made was to take more of my money. So $100 down, a weeks worth of lost business, and still have a nonfunctional computer. Disappointing.

I renewed again my VIP membership which continues to very cost effective due to the monitoring of my custom PC they built for me a couple of years ago, and issues and challenges I have called them about.The staff continues to be extremely knowledgeable, patient and very personable. When there have been various computer virus and other potential attacks, they send out warnings. Disappointed doesnt even to begin how I feel about this place. My Macbook Pro would no longer boot up so I looked for repair places in my area. After getting a bad attitude from a guy and one location, I decided to give MouseCalls a chance based off the reviews I read. I go to them and tell them the issue and they said they could test it out and see why it is failing to boot. After about a week or so, Im told that they couldnt read the hard drive and that was the issue. I was told that if I needed the data recovered, they could send it to a partner of theirs and it would cost me $600-$1200 to get. I ask if replacing the hard drive would fix it and they told me that replacing the hard drive would fix it. So I go buy a new hard drive, reformat it and install it with a new copy of OSX that is compatible with the computer. It still wouldnt boot up. I call them and tell them hard drive was replaced and that it still wont boot. I also bought an external enclosure for $10 so I could see if the original hard drive was actually bad. Guess what, I was able to read the drive and drag and drop any of my files onto my desktop. So for $10 I was able to recover all my data but they wanted to send it off for $600-$1200. What a joke. I paid $80 to have them misdiagnose the issue. I will give them credit and say they offered to take another look at it again for free since they misdiagnosed it. Since I was told it would be free and that it would be moved to the top of their to do list I decided to give them another chance. I had to consistently reach out to them to get updates on what is going on due to them not letting me know what is happening. This was on going for about two weeks. They finally messaged me saying they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it and they would have to send it off to another person but they were not sure how much that would cost and suggested that I just get a new computer and that they could get a quote for a new one from them. I wasted $80 and close to a month of time with these people to get no answers. Thanks for nothing MouseCalls. Ill never use your services again.UPDATE:After speaking with Alan about my experience, he expressed his deepest apologies and DID make a great attempt to make things right. I do appreciate Alan and Cheryl for wanting to come up with a solution for the experience I had and following through with it.

My recent experience with Mousecalls was very positive and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing capable and courteous computer support. I decided to replace my older computer and mechanical hard drive with a newer refurbished computer and solid-state drive from Mousecalls. They transferred all my files over to the new computer and then came out and set me up in under 30 minutes. Clifton definitely knows what hes doing!
