Because I was an hour late in canceling my appointment because I work 16 hours a day. They charged my $135 to my card they had on file. I will never go back there again.

I have gotten my hair cut here about 6 times. Had a couple good/excellent cuts, 2 about average and 1 that was horrible. Unfortunately the good cuts were before covid and that stylist decided not to come back. The stylist recommended for short hair butchered it and didn’t listen to anything I said! Tried someone else and she did okay gave me a good enough cut to get me by, she was nice. My actual issue was AFTER I had my last cut they told me & charged me a 3% Covid fee. 3% isn’t a huge deal it was the fact they told me AFTER not before. This haircut I had that was bad they charged me master artist price when website said she was senior but cut was more like artist.

I had an ombré done, and I just want to say I asked for brown to blonde and it was my first time having my hair colored so I thought I’d go to a more high end place, but I’m quite disappointed, it was over $400 and my hair is more of an orange not blonde, and it doesn’t even seem very complex like a balayage would be, there’s not really any dimension, it’s just a plain one colour to the other with no different shades so I don’t understand why it cost so much for something I probably could’ve achieved at home that may have been less precise but at least I wouldn’t feel like every time I look at the colour of my hair I’ve been ripped off.Also I am disappointed that I wasn’t really educated on what effects bleaching my hair would have on its health, I am aware it is expected that it will be damaged in some way, but nobody there explained how to best care for it or what to expect, since I had never done this before, which I explained. Even when I asked I was told, “I’ll explain that later when we talk about shampoo”. But after my session I was sent to the cash desk, told by the lady that a shampoo was “recommended” for me by the stylist and if I wanted to purchase it from them, so I did expecting someone to explain how it works or how to care for my hair but I was just sent out the door! Also be expecting a sudden COVID surcharge % that they don’t tell you about until after your session when they’re ringing you out, so your left having to pay that on top of the overpriced shampoo set and just simply not really knowing how much you’ll be charged because of all of the hidden costs that they put on you.Overall I expected better, but a higher price tag doesn’t necessarily mean higher quality.

I have been going here for approx 1 year. I see Kamryn and she has performed a miracle on my hair! I went from jet black (with multiple colors underneath) to a beautiful blonde! Every stage in between I felt beautiful and confident thanks to Kamryn’s knowledge and expertise. I love the scalp massages and she is consistently professional and fun! I enjoy the atmosphere of this salon and would recommend to anyone! Specifically Kamryn!!

Kamryn is the BEST stylist I have ever been to. Before coming to see her I kept trying places and not liking the results or the overall experience and eventually started dying my own hair at home (and I have no idea what I’m doing) When I had my first appointment with Kam my hair was THREE different shades of “dark brown” (aka black) and looked terrible. Kam took the challenge on with an amazing can-do attitude and provided some MUCH NEEDED guidance/suggestions on what we could do to get me back to my original color without breaking the bank. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, I’ve never felt so comfortable or confident in a stylist before. We should have taken before and after pictures because Kam worked miracles and my hair has never looked better. I will never go to another salon or stylist ever again. If you’re searching for a new place to try and reading reviews like I did before coming here, do not hesitate to make an appointment. The whole salon is beautiful and all of the staff are great, especially Kam!

I am ever impressed with the service and professionalism from Aidan James.Walk in the door and you are always welcomed with at least one smile and friendly face. The front desk personnel (Yes...Karen that means you!) are sure to welcome you by name, take your jacket and offer you a beverage. Proceed over to the comfy waiting area for the luxury of service to begin.I have been a regular of Lisa S.s for over 15 years. She is one of the best, if not the best nail technician in the area. Perfectionism should be her middle name. Once I sit in her chair I am sure to have a few laughs (okay....ALOT of laughs), a delicious drink (she should be a bartender) and pampering (she gives the best massages with your pedicure). I never question her choice of color (I make her choose my color at every visit), products (she has so many colors for her products you could probably have a new color every week for a year), service (NEVER misses and appointments and is ALWAYS on time) or cleanliness (I have seen her clean....). Did I tell you that I book all my appointments 1 year in advance?Another aspect, I like about Aidan James is the one stop shopping model. I can grab all kinds of facial and hair products as well as nice boutique style items. Dont need products but need another service? Aidan James is great about that too! There have been many times when a service might be on special (they have lots of them) and I decide last minute to give it a try. They are great about finding times that work!I am a huge fan of Aidan James because of Lisa S., but especially enjoy the fact that all the staff makes you feel welcome (even those who dont provide a service for you). The entire staff ensures that you have the best and most relaxing time at their spa and salon.

Kamryn Long is the best Hair stylist you will ever have. You will never go home with a hair cut you do not like. I have been impressed with her even when she was in hair school. I have never turned back.Her attention to detail, and her ability to make you feel so fabulous is unmatched. I promise there is nothing she can not do from a simple cut to an exciting color skeem. She likes fun colors! She is up for any challenge, and let her make you feel like a queen or king. She slays all day! The rest of the team is just as awesome and have always made me feel great when I have walked in. Just a great place to be pampered.

This is a top notch salon, everyone here is so warm and friendly from the second you walk in the door. The prices are reasonable for the kind of service you receive, and they always do an excellent job! I don’t get manicures and pedicures a lot but when I do, this is the ONLY place I will go. Exceptionally high quality everything!

My experience was wonderful from when I walked in the door. The women at the front desk were very sweet and friendly. Derek was amazing. He was clearly busy but treated me like I was his only client of the day. He listened to what I didnt like about my hair and what I wanted, and talked to me about exactly how he would make it happen. He even planned out the cut so it would last me 10-12 weeks. He is an obvious educator and he described how and why he was making certain cuts based on the initial problem areas I told him about. He was conversational but quiet and concentrated when he needed to be, so I NEVER got the impression he was lost in talk and possibly not paying attention to what he was doing. He is a HIGHLY skilled artist and true gem. I have already booked 2 more appointments with him!

I have been going to the Aidan James Salon for many years. I usually go somewhere, find one stylist and stick with him/her. I hesitate to try anyone else. Fortunately, when I had to do that here, it did not matter. I have seen multiple stylists and they have all been fantastic. The staff is fabulous as well. There have been a couple of times that my stylist was running behind and I received phone calls asking me to come a little later. That is fabulous customer service!! I am so excited that I have found an amazing hair salon with multiple curly hair cutting experts. I would recommend Aidan James Salon in a minute.

I have never been disappointed. The experience is thorough, relaxing, professional and custom fit to your needs. A true team culture. I went to Aidan James Salon today to get my long hair cut short, and wow did Fanny do a good job! I feel so good about myself and any worries I had before about having short hair quickly disappeared. Fanny was professional and helpful. The salon itself has a very good atmosphere and all staff are welcoming and friendly. I will most certainly return for touch-ups on my new style and would recommend this salon to anyone :)

Over priced... $250 for highlights and trim (plus $15 tip) . They do not tell you how much the products are that are being put in your hair until after all services are done. I am a college student that was hoping for an affordable trim and highlights. I will never be going here again and neither will any of my friends or family because of the experience. Highly disappointed and my hair looks exactly the same.

I called this morning to get an appointment with Rachel for a hair cut. She understood exactly what I was asking for. She gave a great shampoo and took her time cutting my hair. Sometimes I feel some stylist rush a trim cut - not Rachel. My hair is thick and wavy and she took her time to separate my hair and dry it completely and gave me a perfect blowout. (Im extremely picky with how my hair is blow dried). I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who has started to lose faith in finding a stylist!

This is the best hair salon I have ever been to, hands down. Everyone works as a team, and they are all highly skilled. If I cant get in to see Derek (whom I have known for over 10 years), there are so many other talented folks to assist me.This salon is big on education, the stylists are always improving their skills. I get a superior cut and a great color at a fair price. Its a beautiful space, too, huge.

I have been seeing Becky for many years now, even back before she was at Aidan James Salon and I have not seen another stylist since. I commute from Massachusetts to get my hair cut because I dont trust anyone else with my hair. Every experience I have had has been 100 percent satisfaction. She is an incredible artist and I would recommend anyone to her in a second. Aidan James Salon has a great staff of talented and friendly people. The receptionists are polite and prompt with greeting people in the salon as well as on the phone. The artists are all very dedicated to their work and strive to provide the best service possible. The salon is not cheap but you get what you pay for, and the money is defiantly worth the quality of their work.All in all a big 10 out of 10!

Derek at Aidan James Salon is a life saver for people with curly hair. I have driven 2.5 hours to get my haircut with him. He is so good that scheduling with him can be difficult but its worth the wait. All my experiences at Aidan James have been excellent and I highly recommend this Salon.

I had a great experience. My stylist Cameron did an excellent job. The only reason why i didn’t give 5 stars is because after a few hours my hair was got frizzy and the curls from the blowout were tangled.

If you have curly hair, a haircut with Derek is a must! He does an excellent job not only cutting my hair, but teaching me to care for my hair so it looks wonderful all the time, not just the day of my haircut.

A friend recommended Aidan James. Terry talked with me for almost an hour to ensure he knew what I wanted and what his technique would be. The results are magnificent. What really makes me happy is that the growout what perfect. Soft not severe and I dont look like I need a touch up. Recently went back for a touch up and hair cut. Perfect again.Knew I was in the right place when the receptionist answered the phone the first time I called and then was confirmed when I walked in and was greeted warmly and professionally.Love Aidan James Salon.

She was amazing - gave me some great tips and ideas and when I went back for my appointment, she gave me exactly what I wanted and more! Honestly, it was the first time I ever left a hair salon and didnt immediately go home and fix my hair! Definitely recommend this salon and Drue!

I came here to follow my long-time hairdresser Ryan (an absolute miracle worker to whom I am very loyal - I drive up from Boston to see him!) Aiden James is ok as far as salons go - their customer service is top notch - but the physical space was unfinished and the music was far too clubby for 9am; if they had turned down the lights, it could have felt like a warehouse rave. So paint the walls, do something to make the open ducts look better and zen-ify your music and youll be 5 stars.
