Kristie Plumb and the team from Merrimack Valley Counseling have been critical to my increased mental health and state of well-being. I have found the staff to be highly professional and extremely accomodating. I am so happy to have found MVC!

Honestly do not know where my family would be without this team! Ive been to therapists previously and been around a while and have been so happy with the lightbulb moments that I receive from a very educated, yet real person! Sometimes? We just need a sounding board to throw ideas back and forth. I have that here. Front office has ALWAYS been kind and accommodating. Thank you.

Amazing facility and staff. My husband and I began working with Dr. Nancy Cohen two years ago. There are simply no words to express how much she has helped us both on an individual and marital level. Nancy has helped us both navigate our struggles to improve our lives and marriage. More recently she has guided us in our journey of becoming parents for the first time and we can not be more grateful for her and the entire staff.

Jason Merrin was by far the worst therapist i can now see why he is a divorced man as he gave up with in 4 sessions of helping my son and hardly spoke to my son. one of the last sessions we had he was getting upset with my son who was on my phone trying to ask me question while Jason was talking to me. He is very unprofessional. You dont get mad at a toddler who is trying to ask his mother a question. I would not recommend him at all. i wish i could not give HIM a star at all.

Extremely unprofessional! My daughter has been going her since she was 5 (going on 4 years) and this place has been nothing but a headache! First even when I call to say her health insurance changed, they never changed it 3 calls later, finally updated. Changed insurance a second time SAME issues! Talked to the finance company they worked with and said this was a common experience with them. Then I make an appointment for and her psychiatrist now only works Wednesdays (use to go on Saturdays). And they call and hour before to tell me she isnt in today. She is out of her meds, as she doesnt take it over the Summer and the refill I had left expired. Completely unacceptable! If finding a child psychiatrist wasnt so God damn hard I would of left years ago! And their therapist for children are horrible stopped that a couple months in years ago. Run away! Far far away!

Extremely unprofessional.Trying to get my first therapist and understand what to do. Had the most rude experience, just had the director of the place yell at me over the phone and kept cutting me off because I had to call back to get an update after three attempts the office failed to call me back at the times they said they would. I couldnt ask anything without him getting short with me. I even asked what I did that was upsetting him because I didnt raise my voice or say anything rude myself, but he gave vague answers and put all the blame on me and told me no one will help me because of his small staff and I had to pay outta pocket even after my insurance said that place did take it. Been going through a lot in life and this place made me feel a lot worse then before. Dont understand how they can talk to people like that when there job is to make people get into a better head space. Will never recommend this place to no one

I called and left a message about.my situation and seeking an appointment. I received a call back from Dr Flynn informing me he could take my caaw. When I called the number for the receptionist he provided she said they cant take new patients, do t have an effective way of booking out for 3,6,9 months because by then people have found someone e which is also why they dont do wait lost. I told her Ive been looking for 12 months and been turned away after every first appt because Im too complicated so I dont mind waiting 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 months. She said sorry thats not how we work good luck.Hey, Merrimack Valley counseling reception ..tell your providers this is how you treat prospective cash paying clients.

My team! Love them. Kathleen was so compassionate when my dad died & helped me get my medications quickly when I was out of state and an emotional mess. Linda Schommer, my meds person is so intelligent about medications and I always feel like she is looking out for me, educating me. And Dr. Nancy Cohn is wonderful. She is real. Shes direct which I wanted. She gives me her perspectives and checks them with me. Asks thoughtful questions. Compassionate. Happier with me. Happier with relationships. Feeling like I can really stand up for myself. My team.

Refused to make an appointment for my daughter unless I discussed her issues in a public environment. Extremely un proffesional and unhelpful. I think they need to review the HIPPA rules, clearly they dont understand them.

Incredibly rude staff. I tried to book an appointment as a new patient over the phone and was treated very rudely...And this was after already trying to contact them 2 weeks ago with no response! Pathetic.

My son has really blossomed since coming here. His counselor is wonderful, the front desk staff are really kind, and I have nothing but praises for this place.

They tell you they will call back in a day and never call back at all. Really unprofessional

Told me they dont have the resources to do counseling... I thought thats what they did...
