My son transferred to this dojo after 7 years with his previous dojo due to him becoming stagnant in his development. Simply put he was no longer continuing to grow as a student of karate. In only a very short time since he joined Bushido AKD, my sons growth in both the traditional aspects of karate as well as in his performance competing sports karate has been astonishing. He is now loving karate more than ever before thanks to Sensei Misael!

This is a real Dojo for learning karate Do. My kids have been practicing for almost 10 years with the Sensei’s. It’s an incredible price, and they have an option to Train and learn Kobudo too. Im recommending this 💯 percent.

Usually I don’t like to leave any reviews anywhere . But this 2 years in this academy, my son has grown up so much in all his divisions .At the beginning of this journey I had my doubts .Because as every parent, you want to see right away a good results .Sensei Misael has so much patience with the kids, dedication, his passion is so extreme that any school here in Naples has that kind of teacher ( sorry for the other Sensei i don’t want to be mean but its true ) the discipline, the effort, the knowledge, the friendship, the love for the sport and the love of his kids, go straight to successful end .My son started as I said 2 years ago, and this last 4 July 2019 we went to the nationals and he made a great job in his three divisions Gold in Kobudo and Silver in Kata and Kumite, but he made so great because of great leadership Sensei Misael and Sensei Kevin, for his dedication . This school is like family, they care about your son.

As a life long martial artist, I appreciate the senseis approach to teaching the true roots of martial arts as well as teaching the essentials of Olympic sports karate. It is overbearing to one side or another. Dont understand the anonymous 1 star rating. I would take that with a grain of salt as it could be a competing school. Lack of honor, honor is one of the codes of budo aka basis of martial arts. Many karate champions and USA karate team members train at this school. If you want your child to succeed and excel in karate you must be here. Not your babysitting school, its a karate / martial arts school, where world champions are made.
