Ive taken the 4 cars Ive owned to Z Tech over the past 15 years for window tinting and other work. DJ is great to work with, and they always do top notch work - great installation and excellent value. Just had the new Tesla tinted and PPF installed and the work done was spectacular. First place to go for your accessory needs of all kinds.

I’ve used ZTech for my last 3 vehicles and each time their work has been superb. Their warranty is backed with no fuss if necessary but generally you won’t need to use the warranty due to their craftsmanship.Pricing is competitive and their staff is friendly and professional. DJ has always been a pleasure to deal with and is highly recommended.

My family has used Z-Tech for years for vehicle tint and remote start. They stand by their work. Occasionally a window will need to be re-done due to an issue and they always find a way to squeeze us in for an appointment. On my most recent car I had an issue where I just felt it needed to be re-done. DJ always wanted to help and even when I felt like one of those customers you hear horror stories about... he told me I was OK to want the issue resolved. So we just bought another car and it will be getting tinted at Z-Tech in a few weeks.

I give them a thumbs up very good customer service and they took care of me right away car was done in hour in a half maybe less and came with complementary towel and glass cleaner life time warranty what more can you ask for

My experience started with a phone call. The gentleman on the phone explained all the information I needed to know. I was able to set an appointment over the phone.The salesmen in the store were willing to re-explain all the information once again. They have great visuals located within the store.I was slightly disappointed to see a noticeable seam located towards the top of the window. After doing some research I was informed that this was done to avoid the window tint from peeling off the window. Although the internet suggested the seam could be smaller.The interior of the store was very unattractive. Seems outdated. This most likely wont be a big deal from most since you have the option to come back later for your car. If your ignore this fact my review would be 5 stars

I’ve been going to Z-Tech for over a decade. The owners are great and the manager DJ, is exceptionally knowledgeable of all the products they offer. I’ve recommended and referred at least a dozen friends and family who, like me, have become regulars. No task is too difficult for them, even the remote start on my old mustang with a manual transmission. Window tints is not all they do, but it’s certainly their specialty. Lifetime warranty on their work has always given me a piece of mind, though, I have to admit, I’ve never used the warranty!! Highly recommend!

In the last umpteen years of exclusively going to Z Tech for Window Tinting on 4 cars I couldnt expect any better quality and friendliness. Their 3M Tint and workmanship are superior. Friends have complimented how well the tint looks, and even a cop complimented how well the dark tint looked, and then gave me a written warning for being too dark (2007). Three of my four cars tint lasted 10+ years without any bubble, peeling, etc... My 3rd brand new car with Z Techs tint was thoroughly wrecked / totaled within a year, however, while it lasted the tint looked great! Matter of fact the only thing not broken after the accident was the tint! Moreover, the tint most likely saved my skin from scarring... or worse because it held all the broken glass in place, no joke!Recently they did me a favor which they werent obligated to do, and I just want to say Thanks Again!

I got my Tesla Y windows tinted. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted and then I got there and it became hard. I ended up tinting legal on the front and 70% on the front windshield.

Had my cars windows tinted. I walked in asked if they could squeeze my car in. They pulled it in right away and I was in and out in 2 hrs. They did an amazing job. I will be bringing all my cars here from now on. I also liked the super comfy couches I fell asleep on accident waiting.

Not really welcoming to be honest when I asked for a quote for my car.

So I have a Nissan Sentra, not the sportiest of cars as most people know. I decided to get the black hubcaps and then get a tint on the car to make it a bit “sportier”. I called around and yes of course there are cheaper places to go BUT for the price Z Tech offers while also offering a life time warranty, you really can’t go wrong. Super friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable employees at this establishment. I couldn’t have asked for more at a local business. I will for sure bring my business to them for future cars and hope anyone who is considering them for their business as well will do so.

Went here to get some tints done on my dads 2017 Lincoln MKZ as a Father’s Day gift.. would definitely recommend this place, tints we’re exactly what I asked for and made the car look even more sharp! Kevin (owners son/manager) is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They left our key in another customers car and made us wait around for over 3 hours after telling us we could pick our car up. Upon doing so, Kevin told us “it is what it is.” He never even took ownership, never apologized, never tried to make right. BJ on the other hand was empathetic, apologized and was professional. I have sent so much business here and had 4 of my own vehicles tinted. This is how Kevin treats loyal customers when they make a mistake. Take your business elsewhere, there are plenty of competitors with better customer service leadership within their 4 walls.

Had them do two jobs on two different trucks. One doing tint on front windows and other doing undercoating. Both jobs were excellent. In addition to the top quality everything was done by the time they said they would finish. Will do business with them in the future.

Got my front windows tinted. They told me it would take 1 hour...It took exactly an hour. Pricing is straightforward and the results look great.

You get what you pay for. Dont be fooled by cheaper quotes. These guys were recommended by my dealership and they are awesome. They stand behind their work as well. After 5 years some discoloration had happened that was the manufacturers fault apparently. DJ worked hard with the rep from 3M and they replaced it with better material at no cost to me. After 5 years!!!Their workmanship is awesome and their service is even better. Ask for DJ. They are not that much more but Spend a little more and avoid headaches. They have a heated work place and your expensive luxury car wont be damaged. Will be back for all my cars.

The first thing I do when I buy a new truck and a new Jeep for my wife is tint the windows, all the way around. Factory tint isnt dark enough. I have used Z Tech more times than I can even remember. I have never had a single issue with any of the window tint or any of the bed covers that Ive had put on. This last time was for my 2020 Ram, I had them go 15% all the way around and also put a Bakflip bed cover on. Everything was done to perfection like always. Their prices are reasonable, especially the price on the bed cover. You wont find the bed covers they carry cheaper anywhere else and the charge for putting it on is not much at all, and worth it. Everyone there is great to work with, but I especially like to deal with DJ, hes a great guy and makes everything really quick and easy.

Popped in on a Monday around lunch and they had the truck done in 40 minutes from time I parked to time I drove away. Looks incredibly clean and the guys inside were knowledgeable and great to work with! Recommend them.

Z Tech installed the 3M invisible bra on both my cars and they did an outstanding job. I do a lot of highway driving and the 3M product really keeps nicks and stone chips off the front end. Z Tech installed the bra and you cannot even see it on my car. They do excellent work.

I took my 2012 Chrysler 200 in to get it tinted and they did a great job with putting the tint on. It is crystal clear, no bubbles, and my car was in great hands. Their customer service was exceptional and I will surely be back when I get a new car!!

Most recently I have taken our new Chrysler Pacifica. Window Tint is one of those things that is easy to mess up and hard to get right. The Z tech team gets it right every time, factory quality work. I spoke with three different gentlemen on three phone calls initially but DJ is the one that took care of me from the third phone call to when I picked up my vehicle. He was very helpful from the first conversation to when I picked the car up. The quality of work is top-notch. You get what you pay for and although Z-Tech isnt cheap, their work is flawless.

Took 2 cars here for tints. No fading and no bubbles or dust. So I would recommend them. They do get the inside of your car pretty dirty tho.

Great place to have your tint done, the turn around time a short and work is top notch. I have had my Audi, Toyota, Lexus and many other cars done. In addition, I have installed a remote starter that still works with no glitches for about 3 years now. The are very professional and and knowledgeable about the systems and tint. They do not force any action on you they educate you on what that products job is and you make your decision. Highly recommend this company for tint and remote starter!!!!

Changing back to 5 stars. I love my newests vehicles ceramic 40. Absolutely 0 issues. I will be back for the crystaline 5 on the windshield.I used to reccomend them. Not so sure after this latest experience. Had my Yukon done 3 years ago, matched factory tint, looks great.This time is going a bit different. 1st they ran out of the ceramic tint we choose. Which was fine, they upgraded us for free. We were happy. We arrived after hours to pick up and found the battery dead. I had to go buy jumper cables. Oh well things happen. The next day we found a large bubble in rear window tint. I had her take the car back on her way home. (we live 40mins away) they pushed the air out, next day bubble is back. I drove up and was told 2 hr wait then 1.5 hr repair. I didnt have time so, we set up the next day. I just feel their patience is somehow running out? And that I should have been taken care of asap, this is an installation issue, not a warranty repair. Shes really frustrated and Im sorry I reccomended it. Hoping for the best.

I brought my 2017 Chevy Silverado in to have my 2 front door Windows tinted to match the factory tint on the rear Windows. I also needed to have the tint removed after a less than stellar result from another company, I arrived before my appointment time and they got me right in ahead of time. They were very friendly and courteous, the tint came out flawlessly and my truck was returned to me in about 45 minutes. The truck was very clean and I have nothing but positive things to say. Thank you for a great job, the truck looks great.

Gross negligence and disrespect for property sums this up. Here are the details: while of the film application holds well, they have literally butchered the dashboard. I had just purchased the car - Jeep TrackHawk - and the dashboard was immaculate. Real black leather with WHITE stitching. When returned at the end of the job, the dashboard had cuts and scuffs in different places, but mainly in the center. Z- Tech admitted and hired someone to try to fix it. Well, the problem is that the person who fixed it actually butchered it: not only that the cuts were replaced with some ugly deformed grroves in the leather, but they painted the stiching BLACK (from white), thus making the dashboard look different from the rest of the car interior (?!?!). The repair cost was $5,000 for a few hundred dollar job, simply because of gross negligence.

95% of tint is perfect! After 6 days, there are still some minor bubble spots on the rear windshield that I hope will go away. The clean-up job can improve; I found left over tint film and blue tape in the car after they were done.

Z Tech did a really nice job on my 2013 Toyota Camry SE. I had them do the 3M Crystalline product on all of the windows of my car. It looks great and they took really good care of my car during the process. Im very protective of my car and they explained to me the steps they take to make sure the car is kept clean during the process. I am very pleased with the job they did.

I had my Silver 2015 Malibu LTZ tinted here. Awesome job! I went with 3M Crystalline, CR70 windshield, CR40 side and rear windows. I dont wear sunglasses as much after the tint installed, and the cabin feels cooler on bright days. The car looks sportier now too. High marks!

Drove my new car basically from the dealership to ZTech to have all windows tinted. I was in and out in under 2 hours and it looked excellent. The tint is cut by machine so there is no human error and has the best possible edge. Upon inspection there was no bubbles and it looked really good.

They did a great job putting 3M clear film on my full bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors. They also put 3M on my front driver/passenger windows that look great. Highly recommended.

I went to get a remote start installed on my new car. I was recommended by The Jeep dealership across the street. And I selected the more modest car remote start and it was about a 3 hour process. So the less expensive version seemed to not be compatible with my car so they upgraded me to the next level remote start at no additional charge. It seemed to be a $100 difference so I am very grateful for this. I will definitely come back and recommend this establishment to my friends and family. Also while I was there they had magazines and free water. And big screen tv and 2 couches. I would recommend maybe flipping the tv to a different direction cause the glare of the road and the background messes up my tv 📺 view haha. And the bathroom is outdated but who cares lol.

Awful experience! paid $250 for an unfinished job and a broken rear view mirror. they took my mirror off to tint the windshield, then they messed around with it for an hour, comes back (with a stripped bolt) and tell me they couldnt put it back. The manager even tries to argue with me how it wasnt their fault.very unprofessional.go to Frankies tint for wayyyyy better price and better job!!!

A few days ago I had tint done in my new Tacoma TRD pro, and while the tint job was good, the work was SUPER sloppy and substandard. Water (or what I hope was just water) was all over my leather seats, in the arm rest pocket, poured down the front of my door speakers and hit the cones, fluid inside my door speakers! Window stickers that were removed were balled up in the map pockets, and my seats are still a little stained 2 days later. This was my 5th vehicle Ive taken here, and Im not sure Id go back. I drove by 4 another tint shops to get to Ztech, very disappointed with the lack of cleanup and attention to detail.

Customer service is not bad. Prices are definitely on the higher side of the window tinting spectrum. Ive gotten over 5 different cars done here; despite that, I get no discount or preferential treatment (take that as you will). Probably due to the fact that they are located in Naperville and I think most customers dont ask any questions, they just pay.The quality of work is very good, wide selection of tint levels, tailored to everyones needs and very good availability for most walk-ins.If youve got money and dont care what the price is, then I recommend them, otherwise, youve be better served shopping around for cheaper prices.

My window tint looks faded wont fix it because i lost my receipt payed good money and was told it wont fade but it did know i have to pay again to get it fix aomewere else

Had to disconnect a Viper remote start. Z Tech confirmed they could do it, for a small fee. After realizing the ease of the job, they told me afterwards not to worry about it. A+ customer service.

Ive come here with several cars now and every tint job has been done perfectly. They work quick and do everything perfectly. They even offer an accidental damage warranty which is definitely worth the small cost.

DJ was great...I got my windows tinted on my 2015 Honda Accord and they did an amesome job. Service was fast as well, only an hour in a half. Highly recommend ZTech for any service.

I skimmed through the reviews that other people left about this place and I was a little worried about the service but I wasnt getting my windows tinted, I was getting a remote start installed on my truck.From the moment I walked in for my appointment to the moment I walked out with the my new remote start pad was a breeze. The staff memeber was clear, kind and respectful of my property.I have no complaints and I would not hesitate to recommend this business to any of my friends or family.

This place claims to know how to do undercoating. Got it all over my exhaust and my brand new wheels. 2 months later my exhaust still stinks from overspray and still all over the inside of my wheels. Ever heard of masking stuff off people? Also supposed to do a detail on my truck basically looked like they washed and vacuumed it for 300$ I can do that myself thanks for nothing. Dont recommend these guys at all except for maybe tint but they didnt do mine. Had a guy do it in his garage all 5 Windows for 125 3M tint and all.. and it looks perfect. They charge 300 for the same deal. Stear clearIt wasnt rust proofing it was undercoating. Took me an hour just to get it off my exhaust tips. Its still all over the rest of the exhaust. I did call you guys about it and brought my truck back in. Still not happy. You had it for an entire day shouldnt have to bring it back in. Just do it right the first time. As far as the tinting yea I agree you guys do a good job but just saying I got it done a lot cheaper and yes believe it or not the guy in his garage does guarantee his work.

Overpriced and not to bright... We went in for remote start on a 2015 civic. Cost 550$ for simple 2way viper system with install.. So after they opened the store 15 min late and me and another guy waiting outside, they kept my car all day only to say my car wont accept a remote start. We called best buy who had same kit and install for half the cost and they said that viper lit wont work, not compatible with my car. Ztech told me that it does work and they called tech line support but still nothing..I never liked the idea of best buy installing it but after talking with both places I took my car to best buy and paid 300$ including install for a viper remote start that best buy said would work. And after 5 hours I now have a remote start that works!!Best thing is that when best buy installed it, they told me they had to take 2 hours just to remove and repair wires that ztech left in thereJust saying, best buy offers great warranty for it and their work. And if I ever want it removed, they do that for free too!.

Had my tint done here about 6 years ago. I started to have a slight issue on one window (6 years later). The employees took my car in and fixed the problem, no questions asked! The best part is that I lost the receipt and they still took care of the problem! Thats called Customer Service.

This place use to be z bar I have been coming here for my tint sense 1996 had three car done in the last 3 years 2014 Altima 2015 Altima an 2016 max so I get pulled over for tint the other day An I called z tech to remove the tint an put 35 % an they wanted $99 to remove the tint an $150 to replace with legal tint what kind of loyalty is that came over to primers pro tint an they took care of me for $89 dollar to remove an put legal tint awesome they got my business from now on z tech is a rip-off don’t go there go to PRIMER PRO tint that the place to go . ask for heather

Got my Nissan Leaf done there and I was super impressed by their attention to detail. Nissan Leafs have a different shade of clear glass that makes tinting them difficult and these guys handled it like pros. They ensured my total satisfaction and I could not be happier with the work they did. Took my wifes Quest there today and once again knocked it out of the park. Their shade selection ensured that they will have what ever you want and their computer guided film cutter machine ensures that no film is ever cut on the glass. Also, the computer guided cutter makes installation fast. My wifes van (9 windows total) was done in a little under 2 hours. In prior shops that would have been 3-4 hrs. Nice comfortable seats in waiting area with DirecTV satellite service and they actually let you control the remote. No more watching Soaps while you wait. Kudos to all that work there and will definitely recommend all friends and family there.

Check for scratches. They had to redo my front window three times before they get it right. No apologies from them. It was supposed to be 45 minutes and I was there for almost three hours.

A month after getting my windows tinted theres already a chip in the tint. Called in and guy said it was my fault for apperently swinging my seat belt. Have never had this happen on any of my cars in the past but apperently they see it all the time. You would think after spending around $800 on my last visit they would be a little more helpful than to say if I want it fixed I have to pay for a new window tint. Been using them for over 10 years but Ill start looking for a place closer to home.
