Budget literally gave us a vehicle that had the potential of having a tire come off during our use. Our trip was just under 300 miles round trip. Budget did offer free road side service which is great. The professional sent out was great, however they determined the vehicle should be taken out of service. We ended up stranded hours from our final destination.We were told to contact fleet management. The representative of the company “Kim” told us our option was to ride alone with a tow driver (truly not an option for sitting with a stranger in close proximity during an upsurge of COVID.) to where we needed to return to. They presented another option….waiting for another replacement which could take days at our expense.Having this breakdown only adds insult to injury. The vehicle we were given wasn’t even the vehicle we reserved!! We reserved a 12ft truck well in advance but was told that was not available AT THE TIME OF PICK UP! What we ended up with was presented as a take it or leave it alternative. We took it out of necessity for our move. We had one set helpers waiting to load the truck and a second set of helpers waiting for us. The only reason we were returning the vehicle all the way back 120 miles was because the price to drop off one way was more than double that of drop off at the pick up location.This has been a horrible service experience! Budget has shown it doesn’t have customers health or safety built into its company infrastructure. They will give you a death trap and tell you to pay in full and have you sit with a complete strangers tow truck for a 3 hour trip. Budget doesn’t offer complimentary rentals and says they will not reimburse should be forced to purchase a separate vehicle.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They constantly accept reservations without verifying availability of their inventory. I reserved a truck 3 weeks ago and they call 3 days prior to my move date to state they don’t have the truck available and also don’t have any sized trucks available until next month. The inventory manager is clearly not doing his job by keeping track of the inventory. He was very nonchalant about the fact that they have left a customer stranded without a moving truck at the last minute. Then he told me to contact their competitors. He was rude and unprofessional. Stay as far away from this rental truck company as possible!

Nothing like booking a truck and getting a call the day before your move that they dont have any trucks available.... sorry, cant help you . I have never experienced such a poorly run company and the customer service was even worse!! Dont waste your time.

Could not have had a more negative experience. Rented a truck for a move to Colorado and the check engine light will not go off, windshield leaks on the inside, air conditioning does not work, the list goes on and on.... The staff simply said there are no more trucks available and to deal with it. No apologies, no compensation and terrible service. Will never rent from Budget again.

I was nervous after reading all the bad reviews. Our truck was ready to go. We had rented a handtruck and packing blankets and they were ready to go as well. Price was as expected. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Horrible service. I rented from budget before and had no problem, but this time NOTHING but problems. I had three different charges on my account and did not agree to the liability / insurance which was an additional 75$ which you think they would ASK before charging my account instead of just slipping it in there. On the phone with them right now and they called the store to speak with the manager Eddy, to see “if we agreed to add this onto our truck”. Obviously he’s going to cover himself and say we did. I tell ya what, if they have cameras in that place, guaranteed 100% he never asked us. Never dealing with these thieves again.

Placed a reservation for a truck 2 weeks in advance and they called a couple days before the move to say they do not have trucks and to call customer service. Called customer service and they stated they would call me tomorrow if there are any trucks available. They called me the next morning at 630am and stated there were no trucks available in the metropolitan area. And that was all! This company is ran by idiots and are not going to be able to maintain their business. I will tell everyone not to go to them! Even if their prices are cheaper! They treat their customers like garbage and leave people stranded without trucks for moving! Unacceptable!

This place is run by idiots who dont maintain the trucks or know how to hold a reservation. Two people ahead of me in line had their trucks break down the night before, so surprise! They got the truck I reserved. And I am standing here in their lobby leaving a bad review and desperately googling any other truck rental places in the area. Avoid at all costs

I reserved a truck 10 days in advance and they left me without a truck 12 hrs before my move. I had to call them to find out that there was no truck available. I would never due business with Budget or this location! Awful! The guy on the phone didnt care. Made it sound like it was typical business practice for them to screw over their customers.

They were ok, not overly friendly but did an ok job. The rate ended up being higher than originally quoted but not too terribly bad.

This location is a scam. They ran my credit card for another persons trucks and I still havent seen my refund yet and this is from August. They act like its not there problem and Eddy the owner refuses to get it handled. They are no different than your common day criminal.

Computer was not working all the time

Poor service. I wasnt greeted and the attendant seemed angry.

These people suck! Left me without a truck on moving day and didnt bother to call.Hope you bastards go out of business!
