Our Insurance Company asked Paul Davis to come out for emergency remediation when we had a leak from an Ice Dam. Their staff was so professional and efficient that we chose to hire them for the restoration work. We are very glad we made that decision. They were just as professional doing the work (and we hired them to do more than the insurance covered) as they were the first time. Everything (drywall repair, painting, structural repair, and tiling) was done quickly and perfectly. Their workmen were both personable and trustworthy. The next time we need work done in our home, we will definitely use Paul Davis again.

I really wanted to use this business as State Farm recommended them and everything seemed to look professional and the google review stars were over 4. They took over a week to respond after coming out for an estimate. Then after calling to follow up to see if we could work with them, they said they could not do the job or wanted to and IF they did they would do a poor job. I would strongly recommend to stay away from Paul Davis Restoration based on how they treated myself and my family. I dont even want to play the race card, but IF that was the reason - TERRIBLE. I would definitely follow up on your employees and how they talk to your new prospective clients :(.

Paul Davis Restoration was amazing at helping getting mold in my ceiling resolved. Joe who was the project manager, was very helpful and friendly. Very patient as well in answering all of my questions and giving me a good line of sight from project start to finish. Mike, who was onsite doing the work was also great. He came on time and worked so hard during the project. If I had questions, he would answer them right away. Super friendly as well. He knocked the job right out of the park. We suffered water damage in one room of our historical home and was referred to Paul Davis by our insurance company. From the first phone, we knew were made the right choice. Within hours, the were onsite and starting to combat the issue and get us protected so no more damage would occur. Every step of the restoration project was well communicated, well executed and we ended up with a beautiful room, exactly like it was before the damage. Rich and his team did an awesome job for us when we had a fire at our house. The fire took place late in the day, but Richs team was able to provide us with air purifiers and fans that evening in order to help to clear and clean the air. The next day we were able to get a duct cleaning service, cleaning crew and electrician out to start the clean-up. Working with his team was easy and we are thankful they were able to help us in our time of need. We would highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration of DuPage County.

We had an excellent experience with Joe Grach and his crew at Paul Davis. We had water damage throughout our first floor and into our basement. This was of course unexpected and overwhelming but Joe came out quickly after we contacted Paul Davis. He was incredibly professional and very knowledgeable in his field of work. He made us feel very comfortable immediately after entering our home. Not long after he came and assessed the damage and what equipment would be needed his crew showed up and got to work. Armando and Victor were very respectful and professional. They were careful with our furniture and our belongings. They were also very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Mike took care of some of the drywall repair and he was great also. All of the employees from Paul Davis that entered our home did an excellent job! We were so happy with Rich’s fast response with coming out to our house when our basement flooded. He was professional and fair with pricing for removal of carpeting and drying our basement out fast. I could not have asked for a better team to take care of our mitigation work! We got home from vacation and had water in our basement. The guys were here the same day and were so nice. I obviously was a basket case and they were very helpful and reassuring. They also took amazing care of our home. They did not cut walls they didnt have to. I hope to never have water in the basement again but if I do they will be my first call!

Ive been using Paul Davis Restoration of DuPage since 2008. On the 1/2 dozen occasions that my basement has flooded, theyve had dehumidifiers and fans at my home within 12 hours. They are my first and only call, and they deliver.

Terrible work, First they painted my garage ceiling with my truck inside. I was home at the time and would have gladly moved it. Because of this, it cost me $200 out of my pocket to have paint removed. Next, I have brand new hardwood stairs that were installed less than a year ago and each stair now has a chip in it. Also there are 7 spots on my hardwood floors that have black pigments from when they sanded them. It was caused by metal shavings and now are permanently on my floor. They removed the can lighting to repair the ceiling and now the lights in the living room do not work. Also the ceiling is cracking in several areas that they replaced. They painted a room and it looks like it was only done with primer. Also they painted around a picture. There are roller lines and uneven texture. I reached out to Rich who is the owner to try and rectify these errors. We had an appointment last week for him to come and look at all the problems. He was a no show. After contacted a mutual acquaintance, he came on the following Monday. He said he would fix everything. His excuse was my house has “a bad omen”. This has been going on for 4 months. He already has been paid as well. There is still work to be done and I am beyond frustrated with the lack of concern for the poor quality of work, as well as the non urgency to fix it.Look at yelp,rip off report and Angie’s list to find more horrific reviews on this company.

Paul Davis located in Naperville quickly reacted to my call related to a broken water pipe in a building I am marketing. Their quick reaction minimized the damage quickly getting the water cleaned up and drying out the space. They quickly evaluated the situation and had a plan in place. Paul Davis representatives were proactive working directly with the insurance company. The workmanship of the restoration was like nothing had happened. This wasnt the first time I had used this company. They are professional and dependable when an emergency cleanup is required. I highly recommend this company.

This company was awesome to work with and who I was easily able to trust. From the assessment, to the info/advice on how to do it myself and the professionalism that was displayed. I discovered mold on the interior walls in basement (partial wood/insulation-walkout). I followed the advice of my insurance co first and called a different number which was useless. Once I started a claim, they provided me with Paul David Restoration-Naperville number. Eventhough I could have done the work myself based upon their advise, they provided a fair quote quickly one afternoon and came out the next day to perform the needed remediation. They were awesome with meeting my needs and sensitive to the situation (as my basement was in the preliminary project stage of being remodeled). David was AWESOME to work with and very passionate about what he does. Definitely a company to trust to get the job done!!

** BEWARE ** Our insurance company used this guy and we had some additional work completed outside of their responsibility. Price was $1,200 additional.We made repeated attempts to get them back out due to the POOR QUALITY of work. Company never responded. When it comes to collecting the bill Rich has been completely unprofessional, made a threats to my wife, used profanity with me and will not take responsibility for the POOR work. I told them I wont pay unless the job is right, they want to sue me and told me a lien will be placed on my house. Getting my lawyers involved now... IF YOU DONT WANT THE SAME THING TO HAPPEN TO YOU TELL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

I had a water heater burst on the 2nd floor during a trip. It drenched the entire 1st floor of the house. Joe was a pleasure to work with and was instrumental in working with the insurance company to get all the damage repaired. Thank you!
