I’ve been with Ornales Auto Repair in Aurora for years. Days after dropping off my car my son showed me Snap Chat Videos of the owners son Joyriding in my car, going to smoke shop and buying and smoking marijuana in my car. I picked up my car, and brought it to Clark’s Car Care. We go there for oil changes and they have always have the cheapest price in the Naperville/Aurora area. My car (BMW 645CI Convertible) had check engine lights on and was running very rough. Jason was the manager that contacted me, emailed a full report with photos of what was going on, I approved the repairs (New Spark Plugs and wires, tune up, new gaskets for leaking transmission, new oil pan gasket for leaking oil), and the car was ready the next day. My car was washed and cleaned, and runs great. You do need to make an appointment even for oil changes which to me is more professional and they keep there appts and the job is done immediately. I’ve paid as little as $33 for a oil change to our Cadillac CTS to $80 for a full synthetic special oil for the BMW. The shop is always clean, and the people are all very understanding and do quality work. I’ll never go anywhere else! Being a resident of Naperville since 1993, I’ve been to many Mechanics and Clark’s Car Care is number 1 in my book. We all know sometimes no matter what you fix on a car, it keeps breaking. Clark’s does everything possible not to recommend repairs that are not needed. I can’t afford it now, but there quote for new racing run flat tires is lower than every tire shop around. They’re super nice and friendly. They send a link with a list of everything they’re working on and the status of how good or bad it is. They call frequently and walk you through the entire process. They also work with a wonderful organization called cares for cars that help younger people and people in homeless programs get their vehicles fixed and not everybody is that willing to go out their way to help people out.

I just got my car back from Clarks for a turbo replacement. I have used this shop on multiple occasions in the past. They go above and beyond to get things repaired. When they say it is fixed it is fixed. They are not the cheapest shop but you get excellent value and customer service from the team. Clarks has to be one of the best shops in the west suburbs. I havent found anyone better.

Clark’s took great care of Prius after I experienced major brake troubles. Jason, the manager, was phenomenal in explaining to me what was wrong and what the solution would be. Pablo even gave me a ride home after learning my car would need to be worked on for a few hours. I’ve had an oil change here before and they are always great. I will be coming back!

I was little skeptical going here compared to authorized dealer...for oil change .. but the experience was great... Its location is little out of sight.. but hospitality is way better... the price was just right...I didnt have to bother ..they took care of things fairly quickly... they have a guest room where you can relax while they work on your car .. watch tv, get into massage chair or drink some sodas ... The receptionist was very helpful ... Good people and great service...Update: I am changing my review to 5*. You guys deserve it...

This is an amazing company, extremely great in customer service. THEY FOLLOW UP! how many car companies do that afterwards? i used them for my brakes and then sent my boyfriends car for brakes. they were on time, communicated the entire time. Highly recommend

Jason Perri and his team were amazing. He was honest and saved me a lot of money. I had originally taken my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the dealership and they said it needed new brake pads and rotors. We were not certain that was the case since there were only 20,000 miles on the car. We took it to Clark’s because a friend recommended them for a second opinion. He said brakes were fine and that it was the rear differential. He went a step farther and contacted the dealership to make sure it was covered under warranty. I will also go to Clark’s first and recommend them!!!

Will no longer be taking any of my cars here. Had my wife’s car in about a year ago because the car was shaking. They said it was the lower control arms and that they needed to be replaced so we did that with them. All was fine until a year later, the car started shaking again. We took it back in to them and said the parts should be under warranty you need to replace them. They did, which took them 2 days to do, and when we got the car back IT WAS STILL SHAKING. We took it to a separate shop and they said the tires were WAYY out of balance, and not only that the outer boots on the axle were torn which Clark’s failed to mention to us. So not only did the after market parts they used went out after a year, which they replaced under warranty and is why I’m giving two stars instead of one, they completely failed to do something as simple as balance the tires after having the car for two days and didn’t report a major issue. There was no paperwork given after the control arms were replaced a second time either.

I took my car to this place since it had an emission rejection. Clark’s Car Care was very professional. They did a test and confirmed that it is going to pass and nothing needs to be done. Also they submitted the feedback to the emission services immediately. When I offered to pay, they refused kindly. I would surely use their services due to their knowledge and professionalism.

The worse part about owning a car is finding a place you’d actually WANT to take your car in for maintenance. The dealerships can be ridiculous and as a woman, I am sometimes incredibly anxious about trusting an auto place.I love my car. It’s now 5 years old and I cringe at the thought of trading it in for a new one. It’s unique so I know I won’t find another one like it. I want to keep it in good condition so I can have it for years to come.Clark’s Car Care made me feel at ease when I discussed my concerns with them. I needed to get my sister’s car ready for emissions testing and Jason really helped get a better understanding of how the old Camry might need more work to achieve that. I was really glad to have seen their sign and gone to them because the way side mechanics that worked on the car ripped her off.

I came on time for my appointment (I was actually early), and they took an hour and twenty minutes to just get an oil change. A person that came later than me got her car done in 30 minutes. I was told it would be done in 30-40 minutes so I built my schedule around it, but I had to be late.

They replace my taillight capsule, because the glass on my taillight was broken. Like Joey, Jason, the repair, good value, everything.

I called to see if they could help me switch out one of my license plates because the screws wouldn’t come out. They told me to come right over, took off my old plate and put on my new one for free, and even filled my tires up with air since they were getting low. Such a great place! My personal experience with Clarks was flawless. I brought two cars in for oil changes, trans and pwr steering fluid flush, and one car for replacement of struts. The quality of service was perfect, the staff is completely professional and extremely personable, and I felt the trust when my vehicles were assessed. Odds are in your favor that you will experience the same.

Always receive excellent service; staff are very intentional about being clear not only with WHAT they recommend doing for your vehicle (as well as how urgent that issue is), but also WHY they recommend doing it (and what could happen if you skip it or wait). However, regardless of recommendation, they are very accommodating, do their best to work with you and your budget, and will respect your decision(s) on what your want to do with your vehicle. I cant emphasize enough how much I appreciate car mechanics/staff who not only have the knowledge to do good work on my vehicle, but also are informative and respectful in communicating rather than talking down at me.

Based on the reviews I went to Clarks for a tire repair - while they were not able to repair my tire (sidewall puncture - slow leak), they gave me a recommendation where to go to have the tire replaced since they didnt have the type of tire I needed & would have had to order it in.Tremendous integrity - you could tell by every customer they dealt with in the short time I was there, including myself, that customer service is their top priority. Joe today and the man at the front desk were awesome and friendly. I was originally that way to get my emissions test done, where they failed me because the reader they needed was disconnected. They gave me a list on mechanics and told me to get it fixed and come back. So i called Clarks car care and they said bring it by they will take a look. Joe stopped what he was doing to look at my car and fixed the issue in a matter of seconds, with no charge. They definitely made my day.. Thank you!

This has been the best experience I have ever had with getting my car repaired! I was provided a detailed breakdown of the inspection of the car via email that included both pictures and videos of items needing attention. I have never seen a repair facility do that.I knew exactly what was going on with my car.The professionalism at Clarks Car Care is unparalleled in the car repair industry. Our 2003 BMW needed to pass emissions. Jason looked at each issue (we had 5 error codes) and tackled them 1 at a time. He worked relentlessly to keep our bill manageable while fixing the problem. He worked on the simplest issues then progressed to the more complicated, keeping us informed on a daily basis.What really impressed me was at the end when Jason had thought that hed finally fixed everything - one more issued popped up and Jason just went ahead and fixed this issue at NO additional cost to me.Lastly THEY TOOK my car to the emissions testing facility and got my car tested - of course it passed. What an impressive way to back up their work!If you arent taking your car to Clarks, you are making a mistake. I will be a customer for life!

We recently moved here and while I was changing my license plate one of the screw broke and I couldnt take it out.. I look for a local shop on Google came across Clarks. I went there, they helped me out immediately replaced the screw and didnt even charged me anything even after I insist... IAM definitely going back there in need🙂

My experience with Clarks car care and with Matt and other staff is very good. I took my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with O2 sensor code, he had discovered other licence plate issue, came with me to emission test center to check licence plate.He took all required steps to get the promised delivered. He make sure all necessary test and took the car to emission test and get it clear. He even adjusted the time with my requirement of car in between. I strongly recommend, Clarks car care for all kind of Car trouble.

We brought our very old Altima in for service. Although repairs took a couple days, Clarks kept in touch the whole time. First, sending photos of the issues needing repair, then phoning often to keep us up on the progress. Everything was above board, transparent, and honest. Joey kept us informed the whole time. Quality workmanship has our Altima running practically like brand new. Competitive prices were a plus.

Matt and his team are always professional and courteous. Not only do I take my vehicles to Clarks, but I take the familys vehicles there as well. As a consumer one always is willing to pay for great service but doesn’t want to be taken advantage. Well no need to worry here, you can tell how a place operates by how an owner operates. I came in with an emissions dilemma. Matt took about 40 minutes of his own time to sift through my failures to pass and the repairs that were done outside his shop. He literally walked through the process with me and without his help I wouldn’t have been able to pass. We passed immediately and even topped off some fluids in my wife’s car!
