Ive been bringing my car to Acorn tire for a while now. The staff is always respectful and up-front with the services and their cost. They also have kept me regularly up to date with what they find when Ive brought my car in for specific issues, like my brakes.

When I got home from work last Thursday I got a screw stuck in my tire. It was about 6pm, and I was leaving for a long weekend in Galena that night. Every tire place had closed when I looked online except for Acorn. I called in, told them my issue and they said they could absolutely take a look and patch it if they were able to!Upon arriving the shop was clean, and the store manager was there waiting for me! They took my information and brought my car into the garage to take a look. I waited for about 30 mins, and it turns out the screw did not puncture my tire! I was in luck. They made sure the tire had no leaks, and didnt even charge me.I will 100% take my car back to Acorn. I am super pleased with the professionalism here, but also just the plain human kindness. It can be daunting to go to any garage as a woman and I felt extremely comfortable here!Thanks again!!!!

Wow, terrific service here. Our car picked up a nail. These guys fit us in immediately and had us back in the road quickly for a very low price. Clean and comfortable waiting room. We will use this shop again!

I have used Acorn Tire shop on Ogden Avenue multiple times in the past 6 months. The services are thorough and the prices are reasonable. Teh sales managers always explain the problems and fixes.

Team was great to work with, found the tires I needed, did a service point inspection as well. Even short handed, they worked me in to get my service done on time and professionally.

Well I supported a local business, AND they stiffed me. They do not back their customers OR their tires OR their own service. I bought tires in September, brought them back in Dec with a slow rim leak in one which they said they fixed. They did not repair it as it leaked again. Tire slowly lost air with cold weather and ultimately went flat. I added enough air to get it going 25lbs and drove to Acorn. They identified it as a stem leak but then told me that they still won’t warranty the tire or their own service repairing it a month before since it was “driven with low pressure” and it’s $180 for a new tire. I was not even asking for a free tire, maybe just prorate the price on the replacement tire since it only had 3000 miles on it. NOPE 👎 NOTHING. I forked out the $$ and left feeling they handled it disingenuously. BUYER BEWARE here, just drive past this place to Discount Tire where they back their products. John at customer service was fantastic, BUT the owner could care less about his customers. I WILL NEVER BE BACK, don’t make the same mistake I did.

I used to go to their location in lincolnwood when I lived in the city. Same quality and service here except the job gets done even faster!

Mike and the rest of the guys were top shelf. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. And for the tires being mounted and balanced on my car... perfect! I should know, because I worked at several tires shops back in my day. And last, but not least, QUICK!!! All four of my tires were done in about an hour with no issues. Other places I’ve been to over the years have been a lot longer of a wait. And the price to get it done couldn’t compare with anyone else within a ten miles radius. Very pleased!!!

Had a low tire pressure alarm go off on our drive in from the city and took it in for inspection. Had a real, human interaction with Michael while I waited for my tires to be checked. He and the mechanics were kind, courteous and professional and the work was done quickly. Because there was nothing actually wrong with the tires the inspection was free of charge (dont worry, I tipped! ). An old school, much-missed business model where people come first. Couldnt recommend enough.

I appreciated my experience here very much. Although I did not get services done here for my vehicle, my partners vehicle had services done. They thoroughly explain what needs a vehicle may need and what has been done to a vehicle. They have reasonable pricing and are honest.

Service was fast and efficient. Would use them again. On this service I had an oil change. I wanted to inspect the air filter. They brought it in for me to view along with the cabin filter. I could see it was still in good shape. I liked there was no hard sell to buy a new filter. They blew the bit of excess dirt off the filter and reinstalled. Also rotated my tires at no extra charge. Just one comment, the young mechanic was not familiar with resetting the service light. He used the common method used on most cars which is not applicable to my model. But that was not a big deal as it is easy for me to do it myself

Acorn TireManagers are very nice and accommodating. They listen and work with you in your situation. They understand your time demands. They don’t push the big repair, but certainly make you aware of what’s needed for a quality repair. I do some work myself and I have found them to be very honest and generous about sharing their knowledge and perspective. Very helpful in diagnosing and working with customer for appropriate fix. I have a couple older cars and they helped determine problem, and fix alternatives at very reasonable cost. I’ll be back. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. I did not receive any benefit from this review.Updating this review on July 10, 2020. First, I’m still happy with all my previous repairs. No, issues. Second, new repairs to my old Suburban and my even older Saturn were done on budget with good results. They understand my position of trying to make these cars run safely without breaking the bank to do it. I still highly recommend at least coming in to the store and discussing the repair with them.

Great price, friendly staff, flexible schedule! I was visiting family in the area and had a long list of maintenance items to tackle. We only had a little while, but they got everything done ahead of schedule and saved me a few bucks! I would definitely go back.

Ive been going to Acorn for a few years now, the staff is always very helpful and will take the time to explain everything to you. My car has always been well taken care of at Acorn and offer very reliable service.

I was referred to Acorn Tire from the dealer we purchased our BMW X5 from. It simply needed routine maintenance, in the form of a brake fluid flush. We had taken it to Laurel BMW and they tried to run up a bill of over $2k. A simple 5 minute job to replace $15 running light they wanted $260.Acorn Tire was extremely professional, their waiting area was clean and friendly. Every staff member I ran into said hello with a smile on their face.Their pricing was very reasonable and they engaged in conversation getting to know each customer there. I overheard a conversation with another client and the client politely declined a service requested. There was no pressure from anyone at Acorn.By the end of our experience we were talking about Santa Fe Speedway.We will absolutely take our car back for service there and am grateful for the high quality friendly service.

First do not be fooled by the large Goodyear sign. This is an independent shop so if you think this is part of a national chain; it is not. If you call Goodyear with any concern or complaint you will be told all we do is sell them tires. Second, be very aware of shop charges that Acorn knows they will be charging you but makes a very very conscious effort to not tell you about. It is their way of padding your bill and adding 10% at the end.If you dare question the charge they freak out as other reviewers have pointed out. One can only wonder what other unethical practices this company does when they have your car in their shop.

Ive been going to this shop for nearly 10 years, and I keep going back. Why? I feel like they go the extra mile, they know me by name, and although Im disabled, they dont talk around or over me to whatever caretaker may be assisting me - I love that.Most recently, they did a fast & affordable brake job on my custom van - they even picked from my residence. Thanks for the awesome & awesomely fast (same day) turnaround. Recommended!

Only went in for a tire repair. My car is old and needs work. They fixed the tire and I was on my way. I appreciated not being told all the things the car needed and trying up sell me new tires or an alignment or a new battery like so many other places I have tried. I will definitely use the services Acorn offers when the need arises.

10 minutes agoThe most honest car repair shop I have had the privilege to deal with in the 6 yrs I have lived in Naperville. Staff is courteous, respectful and most important honest. I can not say that for any other repair shops I have dealt with. Especially the other Acorn on N. Aurora. They always try to get you think you need to add service. I encourage anyone to trust this Acorn location. Management does not allow customers to be lied too or mislead. I had a nail in tire. It was over 100 degrees. They allowed me to wait in the store with my dog and fixed my tire. I do not know any employees or do not do many reviews. However this place deserves recognition. Ray the manager and Michael the assistant manager are the 2 I dealt with and they looked at me in the eyes when they talked to you. That is how you gain trust. Respect and trust is what I have for this location. I would not think of using another repair shop.

Went to a few national chains to get a fix on my tire. They refused to put 2 patches on tire..only 22k on new car. Ray was great. Took 18 minutes and tire was fixed and was on my way. Recommend Highly

Ray, Joe, Mike and team, came by and picked up my truck made the needed repair and had it back to me in a couple of hours. They are taking customer service to a whole new level! Keep up the GREAT work guys.

Mike and his staff helped out with some new tires on our Wrangler and saved us $300 over the dealer cost. They even filed a claim for us on a damaged one under the warranty. We got in the same day and will use them again in a few months for our Tahoe needing tires. Love to support local Naperville businesses like this!

After squirrels decided to chew up some important pieces of my vehicle, Acorn was not only extremely helpful, but they went above & beyond to help fix my van. Went in for an oil change/tire rotation. Price was probably just a little over average. But my tires, which clearly states, should be filled to 44 PSI. All four were filled to 35. Not sure why. But I had to go fill to proper setting. Which I could definitely tell the difference how the car drove. I have been a customer for approximately 3 years. I will be finding another garage to do my work. I’ve lost the trust I had.

Love Acorn tire! They employ the friendliest, knowledgeable mechanics and staff. Tire prices are super competitive as are the rest of their repair services. What I really appreciate is no hard pushy sell for anything but what you brought your car in for. They also have a very comfortable waiting room. I have been singing their praises to coworkers, friends and family.

Did a great job and worked with all my questions. Ill keep going back. Ray and Joe were easy to work with, and fast. Done on time so I could Uber back and drive home after work. Replacing a timing chain is a big job. Also the alignment was very good as well.

I seem to have an issue with tires. I sometimes feel like Goodyear builds tires with magnets that attract nails/screws. Acorn has always given us great service whether it be a patch when possible or replacing a tire with an exact match when it isn’t. Service has always been top notch and I would recommend them

Did a great job solving my problem. I had a low tire. They checked and found nothing wrong. The tire was brought up to proper pressure with nitrogen and remounted. The tech also checked and topped off the other three tires and the best part there was no charge. It is a pleasure to be a regular customer there.

I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I called acorn tire to see if they could fit me in after work. I don’t get home until 6 and wouldn’t be able to make it they’re until 6:30 and Robert told me that wasn’t a problem even though they close at 7pm. They repaired my tire in about 20 min at a great price and had me on my way in no time.

These guys did a great job in helping me select the best wearing tire for my Sienna van. Not the cheapest in town but they got me in promptly and turned the job around in a little over 1 hour. This also steered me into getting substantial rebates from Goodyear. I cant wait to get the $80 one back in the mail. Thanks again.

Had to get new tires installed, an alignment, and an oil change. It took a little longer than expected (they said about an hour - 2 hours but ended up taking 5 hours). They were very apologetic and kept me updated on everything that was going on with the car. Mike & Ray are very friendly polite workers!

The staff did an amazing job at getting me in quickly, helping figure out what was wrong with my car then working with me to come up with a solution on how to fix it! I went to Acorn Tire for Tire inspection and alignment. Engineers at this location are very efficient and completed work nicely. They also checked brakes and did the tuning without charging a penny.I had alignment, tire replacement and brake work done abt 6 months back. I got an email to get the Tire check up, but alignment and brake work was also done.Much appreciated!!

FIrst I found them when I was getting new tires, and since then I go for everything: oil changes, manufacturer recommended checks, brakes, the little lights on my dash -- They are kind and reliable and fast, with reasonable prices! Ray has always treated me fairly and the work needed to be done to my vehicle has always been explained to me in a way that made sense to me. I have never felt as though I was getting worked over to have work done that wasnt absolutely needed. I have recommended my friends to Ray and the guys there. Also, Ray does his best to work within your budget and has options for payment that could be attractive options. Its just nice to feel like I can trust them.

Ray at Acorn has installed numerous tires and other items on our 3 vehicles over the years. He and his staff are always courteous and helpful in attending to our variety of automotive needs, usually during some time crunch when car service is the last thing we want to do. They get us in and out in a timely manner so that we can attend to the rest of the day’s schedule with minimal disruption.

I had four new tires installed, as well as an oil change, and a few filters. They also replaced a bulb that had burnt out, at no extra charge, when I provided the replacement bulb.All of this work was completed within 90 minutes, and fell within my price range. Ray was able to answer a lot of questions I had, and gave me a great experience.He and his other technicians performed a visual inspection of some other components as requested, and they identified some trouble issues that need to be addressed, providing me a quote for that work. One of the parts I ordered and replaced myself, which saved me some money/time. — The other work I’m having other shops give me a quote. I will then see if Acorn can price match their competitors or not.I had a positive experience here, and will likely return in the future.

I found the staff at Acorn Tire to represent the best customer service I have received while repairing my car. They were quick, honest and went above and beyond by giving me a ride home and picking me up after my car was completed. All this at a very reasonable price. I have a 2014 Ford raptor and because of the rims most shops cant mount new tires... NOT Acorn however, they mounted the new tires at a very reasonable price and got me out the door the very next day. From the front desk Matt to the manager Ray it was a great experience.
