Barefoot Lawns installed my new sprinkler system mid summer 2020. This is the result! The pictures don’t lie. Even after reseeding the entire lawn this past spring, it’s uglier than ever. Paid in full. Not cheap either. Took your word, but should have been honest in your abilities. I Never received remote code for programming as promised, even after calling multiple times. Not happy !

I have never had better, friendlier or more professional service from any other Idaho company. Very impressed with Jeremiahs knowledge, quality of work, and ease of execution... extremely pleasant and satisfying experience I will recommend to any who nee yard service. Sprinklers were broken last summer, paid $850.00 for 10 new sprinkler heads and wall unit valued at $109.00 ((Rain Bird ESP-TM2) all additional services were paid separately) This year, sprinklers are broken again because the irrigation valves are old and need replacing. To the owners: You took advantage of my ignorance and overcharged me while doing the absolute bare minimum. Then when I called, the lady told me it must have been something I’d done by a sprinkler blowout. I wish I’d read your reviews prior to hiring you. (your reviews are truly terrible, that dog story leaves me speechless) You and I know that you deliberately overcharged me while not fully doing what was needed. You can rebut this, as you have on the other one star reviews, but we know it’s truth. I’m STILL livid, as I’m sure you can tell but you should have read what I wrote before I came to my senses and deleted it. God sees and He repays 7 fold. I’m really trying to listen to Jesus when He tells me, if someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt. That means, if someone cheats or steals from you, bless them in return. I gotta say, you test my faith. So instead of raging, I say God bless you. I hope you have joy and happiness. I hope you are blessed financially and spiritually. I hope God opens the windows of heaven and pours out a blessing you cannot contain.

Service is good from the yard perspective. From a billing standpoint call your customers back when they call to inquire as to why you are billing them when they prepaid for your services.

All weeds gone, healthy lawn. Just waiting for some areas to fill in. Still brown after a month. The team has been great to me and have followed through so far.

I have used Barefoot Lawns for about three years. I am happy with the quality of service and the price for what I am getting. Not sure what all the fuss is about in some of these reviews. Every interaction I have had with each member of Barefoot Lawns has been professional and courteous. Happy to be a customer going on year 4.

Although i have not had work done by this company i did pump out their septic tank and everyone from the kiddos up to the owner were stand up great people. Its families like this that we need to go to that are good honest people for our lawn care services. I know if i ever have lawn/sprinkler issues etc ill use barefoot lawns and recommend them! Were very happy with Barefoot Lawns and have been using them for almost 3 years.

I was going to use them for my lawn services but they wouldnt offer me the $25 discount posted on their website. Unfortunately they value transfer customers over new customers.

I asked them to aerate my lawn. However I asked them to call first which they failed to do. In addition their tech just ran his machine thru 3 wet and fairly muddy areas destroying any chance for that grass to recover. To date they have not returned my call. That was a week ago.

Barefoot lawns has helped me on numerous occasions. They are our sprinkler blowout guys and know right where to go to make sure all the pipes were cleared out for winter. Having 25+ zones, it was no small feat. They are super knowledgeable when it comes to addressing issues with lawns (disease, dryness, discoloration and pests). They are good at servicing and fixing broken sprinkler parts. I highly recommend them.

This company left a door hanger on my door less than 1 foot from a No Soliciting sign. If they cant respect city laws, they shouldnt be in business.

As a former customer and temp (during the first few busy seasons), it is amazing the attention to detail and care he takes of his customers. The owner has years of experience and strives to keep up on current trends in chemical applications to ensure he is ready for anything.

When we moved into our house the yard was dirt and weeds and Barefoot Lawns helped us get a beautiful green lawn in just a few months and theyve done an excellent job maintaining it! Theyre always in and out without a problem (I usually dont even notice when theyve come) and they keep us on a schedule so we never miss a fertilizer treatment, aeration, sprinkler blowout or spider barrier treatment which means we get a beautiful yard without having to worry about when to apply what and how to do it - they take care of it all for us!

I hired Barefoot lawns to add a sprinkler system to my backyard. I was quoted $300-500 dollars for in work that would be done. 4 months later, I received a bill for $850. After calling the office multiple times and never getting a call back, I finally got a hold of someone who told me that the extra charge was for a broken pipe that had to be repaired. I was furious that they did this work without approval from me and was now stuck with an bill for the work. I called (close to a dozen times) before I could speak with someone regarding that charge. I explained to Jeremiah that this work was not approved and will not be paying for it. After explaining to him if i w I’ll have known how expensive it would have been, I would have told them to forget it and I would buy a sprinkle to hook up to the hose. Upon talking to Jeremiah, he agreed to right off the part of the bill, and I would make 5 small payments. I paid these but Jeremiah then wanted more, and said we agreed to a different amount then first discussed. Not only have I been battling this company about my bill, they don’t answer the phone, return messages, and Jeremiah even HUNG UP the phone on me after demanding he get paid. This company is awful and will lie in their documentation, won’t return phone calls, and are extremely rude to their customers.

Barefoot Lawns went above and beyond to diagnose and treat the needs of my lawn. Ryan was a pleasure to have around and cared deeply about making sure I was pleased with the results. Overall fair and open about my lawn care.

Asked them to aerate my lawn a few years back. They started, got about a quarter of the way through, left their equipment in my back yard for a week. We had to call and harass them to pick it up, and they didnt even finish the job. Fast forward 2 years, we just got served a court notice for a $650 service we never got. The original price was quoted to us at $100. This company is shady and petty af.

3-9-19:We are very unhappy with your employee who left one of your brightly-colored flyers stuck in our door.We have a prominent sign next to our door that states:DO NOT LEAVE ADVERTISING OR SOLICITATIONS HERE, ON THE GROUND, ON THE PORCH,OR ANYWHERE ON OUR PROPERTYWe put this sign up because we travel frequently and, for the security of our home, DO NOT want anything left on/near our door that would advertise the fact that WE ARE NOT HOME!Your employee disregarded the sign. Shame on you.Star resident.

Come on to your property uninvited and leave junk on your door. Do not use.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Not because of their service but because of the owners total lack of customer service and his temper and his threats to turn me and my vicious dogs into Animal Control. They left an automated message on my voicemail on Monday. I couldnt return the call until after they closed. I left a very short and frustrated message that said No, they could not come out the next day as I had to work and my dogs have a doggy door and go in and out to the (fenced) back yard. I said if they go into the back yard without me being there and they get bit, its all on them and their fault. The owner took this as a threat. I was also upset because they had been out only a week before and I took an entire day off of work just to make sure I could pull my dogs in when they came (I have a border collie and a pomeranian mix). They didnt show up until almost 5pm! I missed a whole day of work for nothing!! So yes, I was torqued about having to miss another day of work.The owner called me at 8:30 the next morning and was madder than hell. Told me I had no right to threaten him and his employees and he was going to turn me and my vicious dogs in to animal control because I had threatened to let them loose on him and his employees. There was no reasoning with him, he was yelling so loud my son started to cry. He told me he had lost his patience with me over an I incident when I first moved into this house almost a year ago and told the landlord that this guy (I still do not know his name because no one will give it to me) didnt move some paving stones he said he did. The landlord then told him I said he didnt know what he was doing, which I never said. When I saw I was wrong about the paving stones, I told the landlord I was wrong and I admitted to this guy that I was wrong and I apologized. So, he was still chafed about all of that and he said that as long as he gives me 24 hours notice, he can legally go on my property no matter what I say. This is not true. This man is a huge bully and continued to threaten to report me and my dogs to Animal Control. His loyalty is to the person that pays him, which is the landlord, and the tenant is just somebody who is between him and his paycheck. I called the police about his threats and contacted a family attorney and they both said this guy is just being a bully and that he cannot go into a residence or a private yard without my ok (unless its an emergency). Because the Landlord is still going to use this guy, even after the threats, I have to trust that this hot-head will not try to retaliate against me. I will NEVER use or recommend this company after this. Very very poor form indeed.
