I have never been disappointed with my experiences at Refuge Counseling Center. My counselor has always shared wonderful insight, compassion and empathy. I recommend Refuge to my family and friends often as I am firm believer that mental health is the cornerstone for overall wellness and health.

My counselor at Refuge was amazing and helped me out tremendously as I navigated through some major areas in my life that needed healing. My counselor was very professional and yet compassionate. She was insightful and gave me awesome tools to move forward in a more healthy manner.

Walking through the door was the hardest part, but Karen met me with a smile and I started to relax. My counselor Nate was compassionate, insightful, and encouraging. I can say that I left counseling more whole and confident than when I first walked through the door.

They helped me with depression and anxiety that I had from a cult-like experience. I am slowly gaining my self esteem and sense of what is real and not real. I am grateful for the help I have received.

A lady who mediated for my Ex and I was Assuming, accusing, non validating, and biased. Her lack of listening skills sent all of the classes into a downward spiral that I deem to be a major contributor to the final nail in the coffin.
