I have sent multiple emails and made many phone calls (either get a dial tone or a voicemail stating that I will get a call back by days end. I have been trying since January 2021 to get a call or email back. They have taken almost $2,000 out of my account and I never renewed with them because the year before they just kept taking money out. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PURCELL. Not sure they are even a legit company.

If you want random charges to your business account and no customer service Purcell Compliance is definitely the one to work with.

The most unresponsive and unprofessional team i have ever seen. It was one of the worst mistake to select this company to do my job. They are scammers basically, charged my card twice and stopped taking my calls suddenly, also my services wasnt delivered yet. I am planning to file a complaint against them to give them a lesson soon.

We have been trying to get an answer from this company for 3 months in regards to a double charge they applied to my credit card. They don’t answer the phone and they certainly don’t give you a call back. They only thing they respond in an email is that they will look into it. Worst customer service ever!

Please read all the 1 star reviews and don’t let the 5 star reviews confuse you. This company charged us $275 3 months ago without our authorization. After looking through some of the reviews below, I can now see we were not the only ones that got charged. Like some of the other reviews state, they do not answer calls, which seems weird to me that they cannot reply to calls, text, or emails, yet the owner is able to reply to reviews on here. Last reply for a review on here was 4 days ago!! Seriously?!? You can’t reply to calls text and emails from your clients? Initially once I saw the charge on our account on a Saturday I immediately emailed Purcell. They responded stating the transaction would be cancelled and allow 24-48 hours for us to see the money in our account. 3 weeks later we still didn’t see anything. I emailed multiple times and called them. Finally on the 5th of October I was able to get a hold of someone, who happened to be Alexxander (owner) he stated he would be mailing out our refund check and we would be getting a tracking number. It is now October 27th and still no tracking number, no check and of course no response. I can post screenshots later on. STAY AWAY from this company. If you are reading the reviews, pay attention to the fact that most of the 5 star reviews come from people that have only reviewed this company or another company that they were referred to by Purcell.

As a new Trucking Company there were a lot of things I didnt know how to go aboutbit this company has made my life easier. from all paper work as far as being compliant and making sure I pass my first audit to helping with my ifta to drug test its truly the whole shebang. Ive been in the trucking business since I was 21 and just started my own business under my own Authority this year. After comparing prices I went with Purcell because they had the best overall customer service. I would call and get an answer almost every time and when they didnt answer they always returned my call quickly.

Alexander is extremely knowledgeable.Took what would take me days to do and hed have it done sometimes in a few minute phone call. Some times he would even call me back as late as 10 PM at night just because I had a question an he said he would get back to me. I cant thank him enough.

They are a scam and not an actual compliance company. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THEM. I used them for about a year, spent $936 on them, then found out they hadnt really done anything for me besides the things I see on my end like pre-employment drug screen, and form 2290 which is required to renew registration. All the five star reviews appear to be from fake accounts.

So happy I trusted my gut with THESE PEOPLE!!! I got a call from someone right after I applied for my new USDOT# and thought I had to buy all these documents and activate my my US DOT but come to found out all the calls were from third parties. Got a call from Purcell and they told me right out the gate “Hey guy we’re a third party but you’re going to love what we do let us tell you why.” Love the work they’ve done. Love not having to worry about keeping all my stupid paperwork updated.

The day after I filed for our DOT we got so many calls the next day. When I asked probing questions the only company that could give me straight answers without trying to scare me with an audit was Purcell.I recieved a company portal where more helpful Safety Audit checklists where available and their admin team got me money back when I paid to much to the government! I also received my decals fairly quickly! I do wish they would have offered the larger decals but besides that great company!

I really appreciated them helping me with all my application issues. They did it all for free and quickly so that I could get my insurance. They also got me hooked up with merchant services that were actually very reasonable with their fees.

Do NOT use this company. They are quick to take your money, yet do nothing as far as filing appropriate papers they promise to do. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach ANYONE at this place at any number or email provided. Once a dispute with the credit card company took place THEN they called repeatedly. Absolutely ridiculous. Use a different compliance agent ! !Update 3/20/19 - After filing a report with the BBB on this companys dishonest dealings, Purcell response was they are turning me into collections to receive money for services never provided. Been with Purcell for three years now still a happy customer. We have DOT inspections all the times and just got our SCAC set up with them as well. If you’re in this business they’re the best for your business hands down.

Just started my new business was looking for someone to help me with getting it set up. My friend referred me to Purcell and Im so happy he did. I was able to work with the owner directly which I didnt think Id be able to. I thought they would just handle my paperwork and permits but actually helped with my entire start up. They set up my corporation and have a book keeper/CPA tracking all of my expenses and taxes. Did my commercial insurance and im a member of their legal plan with access to my own attorney in my state. But most of all I was able to secure funding for my new start up and have a credible experienced broker right out the gate. I cant thank Alex and his staff enough if youre a new company or first time start up Purcell is the only company that can help you.

We had our Authority revoked because another company didn’t do their job and we had no idea! Purcell Called us the day it happened to notify us of the revoked status. They explained why it happened and how to get it fixed! We were back up and running with a Granted Operating Authority within a month and have since moved all of our compliance and hiring screening to Purcell.

Failed my Safety Audit back in August because they sent it to my old address. Didnt know what to do, so I hopped onto a truckers messaging board to ask for help. Was referred to Alex with Purcell Compliance. He was amazing to work with, he handled all of the leg work with the FMCSA and NJ State Police. Was able to reinstate my Authority and schedule my Safety Audit. He got me up and rolln again within about a month and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. These people do amazing work cant recommend them enough!

They are the bigest fraud I have ever seen!! There are really trained to persuade people over the phone and get their credit card. They said to my husband they will send everything by email for him to decide and sign. My husband never signed however they charged the card.

I give 1 star because 0 is not an option. And I see that a great number of folks agree with me here. I entered into a business agreement with Mr Purcell and had a terrible experinece. thankfully my attorney is able to help and my business will be protected from his unethical business practices. I cannot advise against this business more. He agreed to enter into a contract with me and my three business partners, signed the contract, and then worked hard to get out of it. He still has not stood by the contract and owes my business $2750. We will be going through the legal system to collect this as he has not yet delivered. Upon a review of his practices I see that the BBB revoked his status with them because of poor business practices. That matches my experinece with him. Stay away from this business!!

I spoke with Maddy back in June and tried doing my application changes for my Authority on my own. Spoke with the FMCSA and they kept telling me all this wrong information and running me around in circles. After two months of back and forth they sent me an email saying the forms I was using were expired. Called Maddy back thinking she wouldn’t even remember me. She answered the phone saying she had been thinking about me and wondered when I’d call her back. I’m up and running now all thanks to her.

Purcell Compliance contacted me right after I applied for my new USDOT#. I was completely lost on what to do with all of my paperwork and I had court in a couple of weeks to prove I had completed all of my state and federal registrations. They were able to complete my CA# and MCP# with the CHP all before my court date and I was able to have the charges dropped and continue to operate.

Paula helped me with my IFTA & IRP and did a great job.

This is not a very honest or reliable company. Hayden is the representative person I spoke with, and she did not provide correct full information. Three weeks later our card was charged for prices never discussed and UCR requirements never mention or pricing. In order to reach this company you have to go through the Facebook page, because no one ever answer both provided numbers and does not correctly respond to emails. After cancelling service, we received an email, thank you for your payment. The UCR & BOC-3 being charge by Purcell is 3x more than any credible company listed with FMCSA. Their prices for BOC $139 and UCR that they will not tell you need is $149.00. Please do your research and get with credible carriers as they will share trusted compliance companies.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone ! Hired them for my husband trucking company, they lied about doing everything they said they did . I ended up doing the 2290, Boc3 etc ! Then asked for a refund Alex the owner said he would refund it but never did an it’s been almost 2 months still no refund ! Please avoid this company!

Scam. They search public records of people who register for DOT numbers, harvest the phone #s, and try and oversell services they dont need or that people already have done.

Theyve helped me with everything. Ive had two loans funded, all my dispatching, driver recruiting and fleet Managament. In just 12 months Ive gone from 1 truck to over 5 and our revenue has more than quadrupled. If you want to grow your business, they are the best!
