Custom Air does excellent work! After two after-hours (10 pm) service calls at their peak time to try and fix our failing AC, we concluded that it was beyond repair. A new system was proposed at a fair price, ordered on Friday, and installed on Tuesday. Its been keeping us cool in this 100+ weather. Thanks Rick, Angie, and team!

If you need your AC repaired, this is the company to call(FIRST). My parents had a different company come out for an AC repair and were told they need a new system.i told them to call Custom Air, and they came out the next day and got the old system up and running. They gave my parents all the information regarding future repairs or replacement.We used them once to repair our AC also.One word to describe Custom Air, HONEST.

The first thing I look in a company is if they show up on time (anymore if at all). I have been using custom air for the past couple years for any of my studios heating / cooling needs and they are always early, prompt and have the job completed the same day as the appointment. Great family, service and value. These folks have a forever client based on their rock solid business ethics.

They came out the same day and fixed our air conditioner. It was 100 outside and 85 in our house and they had our air back up and running within 15 minutes. Their rate was more than fair. Would recommend them to everyone and will definitely use them again.

READ THIS!!!!! It was a 97 degree day and at dinner time our AC went out with a 101 day forecasted to come the next day. Rick and Angie came out at 11:15pm and had me up and running in 45 minutes!! The dedication to real Idaho native service is truly heart warming. I thought places and people like this were gone, but they restored my faith that Idaho values of taking care of people are alive and well. Pricing was very, very fair (maybe more than fair considering) and I defy you to find an HVAC company that wont leave you feeling like you just got jammed. Not Rick and Angie, no no... these people are salt of the Earth. Dont listen to TV commercials, radio ads, or mail out flyers.. take it from me. They were seriously so awesome! Our AC shut down this afternoon however, I didn’t notice it until around 8:15 pm. I went online, entered in my information in the contact area of their website, and I received a call 20 minutes later at 8:42 pm. They asked me if it was too late to stop by and I said “Heck no!” They were here by 9:45 pm. They fixed my AC unit within 15 minutes!!There is a reason why they get a 5 star rating, because they are seriously THEE best. Rick and his crew were very prompt an did great work for a great price. They are very responsive to questions and concerns.

A/C stopped working overnight. I wake up its 79 in the house on a friday morning with out of town family on the way to my house for the weekend! Called and left a voicemail. Got a call back in a short while. Explained the situation. Rick and Angie came out and diagnosed the problem. Checked to make sure the fan motor I needed was in stock locally, it was! They came back out later in the evening that same day and replaced needed part. Everything is now working great! This wonderful husband and wife team got my system blowing cold air again! It was a very pleasant experience given the circumstances. They were very honest, didnt try to sell me a brand new unit when my current a/c was still able to be repaired for a very reasonable price even though its about 14 years old at this point. If youre like me and looking for someone honest, and who knows what they are doing, call these guys, you wont be disappointed! Love this place. They were quick to come fix my A/C and very professional. Had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. Very nice people!!

Rick and Angie came out in the evening when we realized that our A/C had quit blowing cold air and our inside thermostat read 90 degrees!The diagnosis was not promising, as our unit was 25 years old. Rick was able to add enough refrigerant to keep us cool for another day and a half. Meanwhile, we ordered a new A/C and furnace package with very helpful financing options. Because of a full schedule and appts.that were booked weeks in advance, Rick and his son were willing to come out on Sunday (his only day off) and got started on the removal of the old units and installation of the new. They came back on Monday and finished up. This was just in time for temps to reach the 100s. Our new, upgraded A/C is quieter and seems to work much less to keep our house cooler. We are very grateful for their urgency to help us, ability to explain everything in advance, and blessed to have them for neighbors as well. Very highly recommended!

Rick and Angie are awesome. When we first bought our house, or first power bill was overt 300.00. Needless to say we were shocked. Rick came and looked at our heater. He told us that it wasnt connected under the house, so he fixed that. He also determined that our a.c. unit wasnt working right and suggested one a little bigger. Everything had worked great since. We keep in touch and say hi and consider them friend. They do great work and are reasonably priced.... thanks you guys, yoy Rick!!!

Went above and beyond! We spent all spring looking for a HVAC company to work with. We got 6-7 quotes and none of them seem right. My husband google one last time before we decided on a company and found Custom Air. He was sold on the reviews. Angie quoted us over the phone. We thought about it for a little bit and the husband called Angie back with a few more questions. She was up front and honest, we made a plan for them to come see the old unit and get an appointment scheduled. They came over and looked and was up front there could be additional costs. The day finally came for installation. They showed up early and got started. They stayed until the job was done. They ran into a few issues but never gave up and didnt charge us anymore than the original quote. Honest, hardworking and friendly people.Just as a side note we have a room that has never been cool. The original duct work was choking off the air to the room. Rick fixed it. Our whole house is cool now. I could ramble on for another 7 paragraphs telling you how wonderful they are but I will close by saying if you are in need of a great HVAC company pick them.Thanks Rick, Angie and son!

We have been without AC for years now and were recommended Angie and Rick by my brother and sister in law when we got an outrageous quote on a 1.5 ton AC unit from Western Heating and Air. We called Custom Air Heating & Cooling and they came out the same day (even when we called late in the afternoon) to look at everything and give us a quote. They got us scheduled in ASAP with a significantly less price than the other place. Even if their prices werent amazing, their custom service is (though their prices are amazing)! Very responsive to phone calls, texts, AND emails. The other place we tried to go to before Custom Air Heating and Cooling didnt even return our voicemail saying that we had wanted to go ahead and put their AC unit in, their loss! Installation was done perfectly and now were soaking in the cool air. Im so glad my brother and sister in law recommended them to us and were already recommending our friends and family to them! My mother in law is getting a bunch of work done through them soon! Such wonderful, down to Earth people with great custom care and affordable pricing...what more could you ask for??

I cant express the greatness of Custom Air!! On July 3rd our A.C. broke and they said they would be put that night or the next day. They called at 10pm saying they didnt forget about us and were on their way to save us! The kids, dog, cat and us were finally able to fall asleep as the house was dropping from 88 degrees! Of course we had the concern how much they were going to charge as is was 10pm and the night before 4th of July but wow!!! Their prices are so amazing!!! I cant recommend them enough! My air conditioning went out at 8 pm on 8.9.17. I called Rick and he said he would be at my house in an hour. He showed up with Angie and found a bad capacitor and replaced it. It was 98 degrees outside and 89 degrees in my upstairs. Thank you Rick and Angie you really do take care of your customers.

My insurance company sent someone out to diagnose and repair my air conditioner. It was not a great experience....the company was rude, uninformative, slow, and very unfriendly. To top it off they diagnosed the problem incorrectly. After mutiple technitions and several days of unsuccessful attempts we were very hot and very frustrated.I called Custom Air Heating & Cooling. They squeezed us in that very day, and came out late in the evening, way past time they should have been working. They spent minimal time diagnosing the problem CORRECTLY and telling us what needed repaired. We were so relieve and very thankful!Custom Air Heating & Cooling was fast, frendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. When the beast that resides in my basement finally gives up and needs replaced I know I will be using them to replace it!
